Numbers don't liel. ObiCertificate: Maybe you were on the moon during the birth and rise of Boko Haram under PDP from 2009 until 2016, when PMB effectively defeated and drove them back from the vast territories that occupied in the NE under Jonathan/PDP, a period when the North saw arguably the greatest loss of life ever in its modern history. The surrenders of BH militants and reclamation of Nigerian territory all happened under PMB. It is very unfortunate that under him however, the monster of banditry in the NW/NC later emerged.
Meanwhile the main issue is the futility of any revolt or protest you’re planning after the next election, because Obi simply cannot win in 2027 without the North’s vote and you sure as hell know we will not extend southern presidency by another 4 or 8 years - especially not to an Obi. |

Buhari did nothing for his people. Infact the Northerners that died in his regime from the hands of terrorists are more than any other presidents before him ObiCertificate: Don’t be a clown. Nobody said anyone voted Buhari to arrest Kanu. Kanu started his nonsense AFTER Buhari’s victory i.e the North had already given him the winning votes.
Every Ex-President gets insulted & maligned, including GEJ by his own Otueke people, for not developing his community & region. Buhari indeed has his faults and failings like many other leaders no doubt and I also criticize his handling of our security in the latter part of his presidency among other failings.
That however doesn’t take away the remarkable achievements of such leaders; be it the completion of the Muhammadu Buhari Bridge (2nd Niger Bridge) in the East, or the surgically precise re-caging of Nnamdi Kanu in the “zoo”. |

You mean APC cannot generate wealth? All the wealth of PDP was generated by PDP govts. I'll tell you why Buhari failed. It was because of incompetence and nepotism. Look at Buhari's ministers, no heavyweights. Look at Tinubu ministers, no heavyweight but look at Obj and Jonathan! How come the last time Nigeria did 2.4 million barrels per day export was 2015? Because Yaradua introduced amnesty for Niger Delta militants so that Nigeria can get oil in peace but fo0lish Buhari came and stopped it ozo13: It even rose to 47billion Dollars in 2013 and then started free fall down to 28billion dollars in 2015 when he handed over to the next govt. What went wrong . question must be asked you know.we can as well say that was where the Nigeria issue started from because why will the external reserve drop all the way from 47billion dollars in 2013 down to 28billion in 2015 may handing over ,that is like almost 20billion dollar fall just in less than 2yrs.something went wrong Mr man accept it or not. |

Politics › Re: Igbo Presidency Will Be As Useless As Yoruba And Fulani Presidency Have Been by DMerciful(m): 1:43pm On Jun 05, 2024 |
Nigeria progressed from 1999 through to 2014 under PDP! Nigeria started declining when APC took over. This is a faxt! gidgiddy: As an Igbo man, I have never seen an Igbo man become President in my life time, and most likely I never will(Thats discussion for another day). But in the last 25 years, I have seen two Yorubas' become President, Obasanjo and Tinubu, and two Fulani's become, Yaradua and Buhari.
These 4 men were at the helm of affairs in Nigeria for a combined 20 years out of the last 25 years. But all 4 men have one common denominator, Nigeria has gone from bad to worse during their watch. Nigeria has generally gotten worse in the last 25 years since it returned to civilian rule in 1999.
For my fellow Igbos who would one day want to see one of us become President, this is not a bad thing, but bear in mind one thing
No Nigerian President can ever do well, none has ever done well, regardless of their ethnic group. Nigeria is structured to fail, no matter where the President comes from.
A Yoruba man bought Dollar at less than N100 under Obasanjo, the same Yoruba man is today buying Dollar under Tinubu at N1,500. Tell me what Yoruba Presidency did for that Yoruba man?
A Fulani man who bought a bag of Rice at N4,000 under Yaradua needed 10 times that amount to buy the same bag under another Fulani man called Buhari. Did Fulani Presidency do anything for him?
Lets be wise about Presidency, there are more important things than that |

Show proof that 20+ billion only was handed over to APC. Secondly, how much is $20 billion? So APC cannot generate $20 billion in 9yrs? ozo13: u only want an aspect of the problem to be discussed not the origin. How much was our external savings before Jonathan and how much did he handover. As much as APC is to be blame for reckless policies if I may say , we need to blame the origin too.If 40+ billion dollars was handed over to you and you are handing over 20+ billion to another govt, definitely something went wrong nah despite our huge oil earning.I like the problem to be discussed holistically so that solution will be sought after. |
Politics › Re: Hardship In Nigeria: This Rights Activist Is Missing (pix) by DMerciful(m): 1:33pm On Jun 05, 2024 |
You're deceiving yourself! GEJ left about 35 billion for Buhari. When Obj and Yaradua saved, crude prices were lower than Buhari and Tinubu yet they could not even generate, how much more of saving. While from Obj to GEJ, we were doing 2.4 million barrels per day, Buhari and Tinubu were doing 1million barrels per day so you see where the problem lies? Stealing of crude oil in Buhari and Tinubu regimes Tianamen1: GEJ used up the 21 billion naira Obasanjo saved.
GEJ earned the highest ever revenue from crude oil sales.
GEJ changed the taste and preferences of the Nigerian elite to IPhones, Mercedes Benz and private jets.
GEJ was a waster.
All GEJ had to do to sustain Nigeria’s economy was to save money in Nigeria’s excess crude account at a similar rate to Obasanjo and all the current suffering will never have happened.
GEJ created this crisis by promoting an unsustainable growth through extreme government spending.
To fix GEJ’s damage, Buhari needed to fire Government workers and/or raise taxes specifically targeted at the rich. He failed to do this and borrowed money and pushed the problem to Tinubu.
Tinubu needed to fire workers, raise taxes on the rich and remove subsidies to save the naira from collapsing. Tinubu only removed subsidies, so the naira has collapsed.
This is how Nigeria got into this mess. |

France has had several protests beginning from the french revolution and no one improved the economy or the life of the common man.
