Don’t be a clown. Nobody said anyone voted Buhari to arrest Kanu. Kanu started his nonsense AFTER Buhari’s victory i.e the North had already given him the winning votes.

Buhari indeed has his faults and failings like many other leaders no doubt and I also criticize his handling of our security in the latter part of his presidency among other failings.

That however doesn’t take away the remarkable achievements of such leaders; be it the completion of the Muhammadu Buhari Bridge (2nd Niger Bridge) in the East, or the surgically precise re-caging of Nnamdi Kanu in the “zoo”.

As an Igbo man, I have never seen an Igbo man become President in my life time, and most likely I never will(Thats discussion for another day). But in the last 25 years, I have seen two Yorubas' become President, Obasanjo and Tinubu, and two Fulani's become, Yaradua and Buhari.

These 4 men were at the helm of affairs in Nigeria for a combined 20 years out of the last 25 years. But all 4 men have one common denominator, Nigeria has gone from bad to worse during their watch. Nigeria has generally gotten worse in the last 25 years since it returned to civilian rule in 1999.

For my fellow Igbos who would one day want to see one of us become President, this is not a bad thing, but bear in mind one thing

GEJ left about 35 billion for Buhari. When Obj and Yaradua saved, crude prices were lower than Buhari and Tinubu yet they could not even generate, how much more of saving.

While from Obj to GEJ, we were doing 2.4 million barrels per day, Buhari and Tinubu were doing 1million barrels per day so you see where the problem lies? Stealing of crude oil in Buhari and Tinubu regimes

GEJ earned the highest ever revenue from crude oil sales.

GEJ changed the taste and preferences of the Nigerian elite to IPhones, Mercedes Benz and private jets.

GEJ was a waster.

All GEJ had to do to sustain Nigeria’s economy was to save money in Nigeria’s excess crude account at a similar rate to Obasanjo and all the current suffering will never have happened.

GEJ created this crisis by promoting an unsustainable growth through extreme government spending.

To fix GEJ’s damage, Buhari needed to fire Government workers and/or raise taxes specifically targeted at the rich. He failed to do this and borrowed money and pushed the problem to Tinubu.

Tinubu needed to fire workers, raise taxes on the rich and remove subsidies to save the naira from collapsing. Tinubu only removed subsidies, so the naira has collapsed.

This is how Nigeria got into this mess.
