Reconstructed Lagos-Calabar coastal highway, Apapa-Oshodi express, Sokoto-Badagry costal highway, Abuja-Lokoja road, Lokoja-Benin Road & rehabilitate 3rd Mainland brige and several other bridges across the country. In total about 51 roads and bridges have been awarded as contract in 8 months in total. Believe you me, even as I'm obidient, i commend this effort.

He was a proponent of dividing the 4 regions to 12 states with the creation of Lagos State( different from the original Lagos colony)

He also made sure Biafra never succeed by suggesting starvation to Gowon and justifying it with the statement that all is fair in war(its against the Geneva convention to use starvation by way of food blockade)

Constitution is just a document on how we chose to govern ourselves, its not some sacred document to worship. We can and should change it. We can then introduce the secession clause. We're alive and can do what we want

Resource control was removed by Gowon in the 1970s not 1999 Constitution. The 1999 Constitution is silent about it which is why the NASS could make a law for 13% derivation. By the wordings of the Constitution however, secession is not allowed so a question if referendum can't arise

Remember, the constitution is meant for the people and not the people for the constitution.

If the issue of secession cannot be discussed in constitution amendment today, it means even if it was in the 1960 constitution, it'd have been removed. Resource control was there but removed in the 1999 constitution

Referendum is a quest for secession true or not? The constitution foreclosed that. The best chance was 1960 and Zik flunked it. The next best chance is through your elected reps in the legislature and they don't share your sentiments. It's same with the West. Most Westerners want fiscal federalism and devolution of powers. Their elected reps don't share that sentiment. It was even Buhari who wanted something close to that.

1. Read carefully your reference. It did not say both regions were one country. The owners named the Upper part of River Zambezi northern Rhodesia and the lower part Southern Rhodesia. Both were never one country. They only used the river as reference. Just like Northern Nigeria and Southern Nigeria were two different countries before amalgamation. They were named for River Niger but were not one country before amalgamation. Hope you get it now?

2. Under what laws will that referendum come when the constitution says "We the people..... are one indivisible and indisoluble entity called Nigeria"? That statement alone rules out any legitimate quest for secession. Do you get it? The only way you can get a secession now is through a constitutional amendment. But I ask again. Who wants that?
