Why do you waste your energy on a worshiper of Bok0hari? pazienza: Obama could choose Okonjo, but he didn't, because there is a big elephant in the white house called patriotism. You must be dishonest to even yourself, if you are telling me that any country leader will choose a candidate of another country over theirs.

Kindly share a link where Obama did the same . secondly I find it preposterous that you are trying to justify this absurdity just like some of you justify terrorism. SMH mrvitalis: First of all buhari as a president have freedom to choose who ever he feels will benefit Nigeria the most Am not in his mind and maybe the onu or what ever his name was didn't represent the ideological he had... .. or maybe he didn't want a Nigerian at that point to have such power and begin to power tussle with him Please Obama did the same in the world Bank president election. .. . This things happen alot Was it not the same buhari that supported Jonathan agricultural minister for ADB president? Please go read more about international politices |

Don't be a sycophant..... Nigeria lingua-franca is English. Compare countries like south Africa 'Zimbabwe etc with Nigeria. Dharniel: Not a big deal. I think you should listen to Vladimir Putin the president of Russia or Kim Jong-un the president of North Korea when they speak or give public addresses, then you'll know buhari's english is better. The fact that buhari has a poor accent doesn't mean he can't speak good english. PDP followers just be hating on buhari anyhow.

Look at all the indices of development.... The SE and SS are miles from the North....Most of NigeriaNigeria's past leaders are from the north yet the north is in a pathetic state and you know why? Cos of praise singers like you. Look at India and Pakistan, the reason why India is miles apart is the steady democracy. If the duara dullard had not interrupted democracy in 1983, Nigeria would have progress far more than this. midolian: Now I know where you are coming from and where you are going. Hypocrite! The same Almajiri has bn determining the president for ages. You are just a pained ignoramus. The Almajiris and illiterates participate in voting than any other class of citizen. Buhari is so good that given 12yrs America will be running to us for help.....what a f0ol you are! You know nothing! midolian: I keep loving this man by the minute. If we have some1 like baba to rule this nation for just 12yrs, the USA will be running to us for help. My fear is 'who will take over from Buhari when the time comes?' Its very difficult to repair a wrecked ship(Nigeria) as Baba is tryin to do.. And very easy to wreck it again as GEJ did. I pray we don't get another "GEJ" to continue from whereva he stops.

Slashing salary by 50% adds what to the Nigerian economy? Do you know how much the economy losses daily because there is no policy direction by the PMB govt? Was slashing their salary by 50% part of their electoral promises? Nigerians should be focus and not easily deceived by cosmetic governance. For those that have slashed their salaries in the past I refer you to Barcanista's post https://www.nairaland.com/2445458/buhari-50-salary-cut-following. rakish: wow! How many percent pls? And can you chanel me to any website or link that can inform me on that? Let me inform u,gej ordered a 20-30percent slash of salaries for all top govt officials ministers, perm secs etc wich cnt be possible coz the president has no power to slash down govt official salaries except his wich is to tel u the scam involve in it. Mreova u cnt compare with that of gmb. Gmb and v.p osinbajo slashed theirs wich is constitutional and didnt enforce dat on anybody except he and his vp. See the difference? |
Politics › Re: Salary Cut Not Enough, PDP Tells Buhari by DMerciful(m): 9:34am On Jul 15, 2015 |
Obasanjo and GEJ also slashed their salary....you're not informed. rakish: Pdp should prepare to be shocked and disappointed. The president and vice president slashing of their salaries is the beginning of selflessness, human compassion, national development, etc that will engineer this administration. These are one of many qualities lacking throughout their reign for 16years. |

Where is the correlation? The activities of 2014 generated the money in 2015, what is your issue with that? Government resources is a continuum. socialmediaman: Ok let's use this simple analogy to paint a picture insinuated by this ill intended report.
Let's say you worked for your boss and he refused To pay you for 1 year, which you have been contesting, then there is a change of government which protects the rights of employees, and in order to avoid prosecution, your boss has suddenly decide to pay you. Would you give credit to the new government or the old government?
Ps: some people will not understand this very simple analogy. |

And isn't this ironic.....to think that these moronic people who has been ruling Nigeria since independence cry of marginalization is shocking....when they practice a religion that glorifies violence and sponsors violence..what do you expect? Dogs and baboons soaking themselves in blood since 1966 Change2015: The only slowpoke you ever see is in your mirror. Why do you think the USA think-tank saw the possibility of Nigeria breaking up? Because the citizens have it so good? Because people think just and good governance prevails? Because they see evidence of good administration? Grow up and use your thinking faculties for once. When people are desperately poor they become open to all manner of piedmont pipers. Now that Asari is a billionaire, are his followers equally happy? Has their situation improved so much that people instead of flocking to lagos have now started flooding the delta? Why does the message of radio biafra resonate for some? If you have little use for your brain then stfu! |
Politics › Re: What Singular Reason Do You Think Is Responsible For Boko Haram by DMerciful(m): 4:18pm On Jul 12, 2015 |
If their certifates could not fetch them jobs they decided to be terrorists right? Keep justifying terrorism! What happens to farming esp with the vast amounts of lands in the north. Change2015: The violence whether in the north or south is a response to the conditions people find themselves living in, especially when they have no expectation that things will change. Poverty, the unfair distribution and utilisation of resources... What do both areas have in common? Unemployment (irrespective of education), poor or missing government services, few economic opportunities outside of government spending, unfair law enforcement in favour of the oil companies or government and it's allies, and extremely poor quality leadership at the community level. (Yes the militants leaders have enriched themselves and joined the oppressive elite, while their communities remain exactly as they were before they took up arms). In every part of the country leaders cocoon themselves with state funds to the detriment of the masses. Boko haram is a phenomenon in the north east and not north west for a reason. The north east is the poorest part of this country, and if you recall, when they were first burning their certificates because it had become clear that even going to school did not guarantee that you would still not die of hunger and unemployment, some people were amused. Look at the militants leaders, are they any different... They have used violence and the threat of violence to enrich themselves, collected commission from the stipends paid by the government to their 'followers', bought planes and are building universities in foreign lands. And yet their own people still dream of pipe borne water and working health centres. Boko haram is a pseudo Islamic fraud just as the motives of the militants leaders is obviously fraudulent. Of course you know Asari is a Muslim but all of his type have only shown a lust for money and power. What they have achieved even in their own villages, is pathetic to say the least. |

Such a travesty....comparing terrorism with kidnapping, militancy, pipeline vandalisation just so you can include the south in your vices allocation. What a moronic way of reasoning!....for goodness sake how can any sane person compare a kidnapper or pipeline vandal with a terrorist who tru suicide bomb kills several market women? You are a goat for sure... Change2015: The same reasons that cause militancy in the delta, the same reasons that cause people to siphon fuel from pipelines, or rush tankers that are involved in accidents... The same reason why kidnapping is now a national industry... Poverty and ignorance. When this exists in a society where sudden wealth is praised and glorified even in houses of worship, where injustice is the norm, what else can be expected? Remember, even the ANC was once classified as a terrorist organisation. The problem is nationwide, not northern or religious or tribal. |
