Me = I graduated January 2013 from OAU

V. O = what have you been doing since then

Me = I went for the compulsory one year NYSC and started a management trainee program with xxxxx which I completed last month and I have been confirmed as staff. But I was granted a study leave.

V. O = How do you hear about the school ? So you have bsc in chemical engineering and going for MSc in Same field.... I said yes quickly

Me = It was recommended to me by a senior colleague I worked with during the EGINA oil field project and I went further to make extensive research on the Internet and I found a research which tallies with my work experience and career goals.

V. O = what do your mum and dad do for living?

Me = My mom is a successful business woman and one of the major distributors of dangote cements in Ekiti State.

V. O = cuts in your Daddy ?

Me = He was an Engineer but he is late now. So my mom manages the properties he left behind.

V. O = what's your position in your family
Are u the last born ?
ME = Yes I am..... I have two successful happily married elder sisters. One an accountant and the other a nurse.

V. O = where would you be staying in Usa ?

Me = I will be staying at the school hostels... The school has 3 hostels namely........ But I prefer Peterson hostel and the process is on going

V. O = She just kept my passport inside the approval box and gave me a white paper..... Meanwhile she has dropped my passport before the last question....

I wrote no exams..(though it was waived for me) . No document was asked.... I applied to the school after second Canada refusal in August. GOD came through for me and compensated me for the previous Canada ish. My school is South Dakota school of mines and technology.

It's well ma.... Let your sponsor increase his or her financial base.... Let him write a comprehensive letter of sponsorship stating how much he will be committing per year or in total, also explaining clearly why he is sponsoring you and how you are related to him. Endeavour to submit your personal SOA next time also.

The biodata page that was printed out and given at the Hospital was what I scanned (online application). Check the information on how to reference upfront medicals.

Hello everyone, I applied to Humber and just gained admission for September 2016, passed my medicals during my first application, though I was refused the study permit the first time, I just referenced it in the current application and it is showing Passed. just waiting for the passport request email.

Call the clinic and explain to them. They will send u an information sheet. While applying, among the question u will b asked is if u have had medicals with any cic approved clinic say yes and then in ur application page, a portion whr dat info sheet will b attached will b created. This is if u r applying online. I did d same

If you get any new update or msg you will be notified via your mail... And you can occasionally check it too

Yes if you are called for medical you will receive a msg in ur mycic account as regards medical.

I printed 5months SOA. Yes I'm working. But with 50k as salary. Incase you don't have friends ir family to trust you wt their morning it's dangerous to sponsor yourself if you don't have a very bouyant income. In my own case I discussed with about 3 friends with good income, I used transfer and withdraw method. What that mean is that they will pay d money into my account with details , and pay them back d following day with my own little income too. I did that for five month before asking someone to help me with 5m as I was about printing my SOA. D 5m was paid into my account in bit to avoid lump sum. To God be the glory I have my TRV approved.

Anything academic related should be uploaded under LETTER OF ACCEPTANCE SECTION...

That's true. I applied on 24 Nov and family pictures were rejected. I was told they were instructed not to take it anymore.

What if the original pictures were submitted or they just dont take pictures again ni....?

As a follow up to my previous post, here is the transcript of my application;

Applied online - Nov 3rd,
Biometrics - Nov 3rd
Medicals invite - Nov 27
Medical done - Dec 1st
Medical passed - Dec 7th
passport request - Dec 18.
Passport submitted - Dec 18
Passport pickup notification - Dec 23
Approved Passport retrieved - Dec 29.

Only after retrieving my passport that my CIC account got updated (closed and approved)

Documents:
CIC forms
Police clearance
Birth cert
Recommendation letter from head of department.
Personal statement aka SOP
Conditional offer letter
Passport data page and Visa page

That was all of my personal docs submitted (there were no certificates, transcripts etc).

Financial Doc:
Sponsor 1 - mum, sponsorship letter
soa 10m.
Letter of promotion.
A separate contract offer.
No payslip or CAC doc included

Sponsor 2 - brother, sponsorship letter
soa not included (had just 250k balance though)
Letter of promotion
Payslip for the year starting from Jan 2015.

About 4 landed doc between both.

That was every doc submitted,,, however after reading a couple of pages on here, I wished I submitted more and thought my forwarded documents wasn't sufficient to obtain a TRV.

Nonetheless I have learned alot from here and felt equipped enough to reapply if need be; luckily, there won't be any need for that.

For those awaiting a response, I wish you luck.

but here is my testimony.
I applied for a student permit on October 5th.
It was a very mesy application acording to you guys because my dad only had 4,000,000 as his statement of account.
but he had other assets.
I came to Niaraland after I had already submitted my application and when i asked if I could submit again to correct the mistakes you all said No.
I was very scared as I am still a teenager and i wanted to resume school as soon as poosible.
But I just had hope In God and just continued with the application.
after about a month and half my dad told me he had lost the password to the myCIC account. this caused alot of commotion and made everyone in my house sad.
I even finalized that there was no longer hope again and already deneied myself the visa.
so after a month later which was this december my father finally got the password. and we saw the medical forms in it. we didnt the medicals the next day.but we were denied the next day after the medicals due to the fact that we hadnt done our medicals in the 30 dasys gap.
while all this was happening, my parents had already gotten their visting visa as they were supposed to acompany me to canada.
but I do not know what happened. I checked the myCIC account the next like 3 days and in the application information tab i saw that my Meidcals had been passed! and my passport was requested for. I immediately showed my parnts and they submitted it.
to cut the long story short. I got my approved mail today.
PLEASE TRUST GOD. WHAT IS WRITTEN IS WRITTEN.
all this happened on my first application.
