aletheia: As Stephen lay dying in the book of Acts. . .what was the prayer he addressed to Jesus? The answer to this question tells you those 2 so-called "men of God" are just expressing their opinions. . . Also did Jesus not teach us to pray: "Forgive us our sins as we forgive those who trespass against us"?Thank you for this simple explanation. |

Nigeria is yet to value what they have.... No Sir....Nigerians know better! |
chikk: Hmm, see theology. Pls, to a lay man like me, Righteousnes is what we TRY to be while Holy is what we CAN'T be cos ALL have sinned and come short of the glory of God. No sinner (whether born again or born before) is holyBe ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.-Math 5:48 |
Where in in Words of Jesus did you read that a true prophet will be recognised by the transfer of a stamp. |
Thank you. |
Although the fig tree may not blossom, nor fruit be on the vines; though the labour of the olive may fail, and the fields yield no food; Though the flock may be cut off from the fold, and there be no herd in the stalls: Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation. The LORD God is my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds' feet, and He will make me to walk upon my high places. -Habakkuk 3:17-19 |
Avoidable Risk. She does not have to go this far. I feel this is careless. |

You choose your tiles, but you don’t determine the mark/point on the tiles. You choose where to place your tiles on the board. There are times you see a space that will fetch you a lot of points, but another player uses it before your turn (that’s beyond your control). There are times you don’t see opportunities that others see, until they use it. There would be times when the tiles you choose are so bad that you will decide to lose your turn and wait for others to play, while you go back to rack your tiles more intelligently. ………But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint – Isaiah 40:31 ……For there is hope of a tree, if it be cut down, that it will sprout again, and that the tender branch thereof will not cease – Job 14:7 |
It’s unfair how many pastors these days only set up evangelism to populate their churches but not for the kingdom. It’s even terrible how they choke the members with so many programmes, almost spanning all the days of the week, so as to keep members in their churches for tithe, numerous offerings and contributions, such that the members have little or no time to plan their lives and their families or even time to use for The God they claim to serve. The Bible says that those who know their God shall be strong and will do exploits, but it’s unfortunate that many pastors are no longer teaching members or so called workers to know God, but only teaching them to abide by the doctrines of their own ministries or denominations. |
This is happening because they are not operating with Bible Truths. A simple application of 1Cor.6:1-6 & Matt.5:38-48 will tell Paula White not to take such action. It's because they are just using the ministry to fleece unsuspecting members. https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-740557.0.html |
Maybe it's because of the understanding that Hagar & Ishmael were not in the original plan of God for Abraham - Gen.16:2 |
We are not called to celebrate anniversaries. Jesus never did first, second or third anniversary, even though He ran His ministry for three and a half years; He was too busy, healing the sick, raising the dead and preaching The Good News to the poor. The Apostles also followed His pattern. It’s amazing how ministries today prepare enormous budgets and use almost half of the year to plan for anniversaries. Even putting the yoke of heavy levies on the members and different groups in the church. It’s even more embarrassing how some will go to the extent of inviting wealthy unbelievers, just for their cash donations, avoiding to tell them the truth of God’s Kingdom. |
It’s ludicrous, how many poor pastors struggle with the religious norm of wearing suits. It’s even questionable, why Seminaries and Bible Schools makes it mandatory for graduations. The suits or coats that pastors wear has nothing to do with the anointing (after all, the suit has nothing to do with The Jews or The Hebrews, it’s an English dress), neither do the giant hats worn by female ministers and pastors’ wives have anything to do with The Anointing. True ministers of God must be content with clothes they have, so far it’s clean and comfortable. |
Satan doesn’t mind you going to fellowships or having personal study time, as far as you don’t do anything with what you learn. ‘If you know these things, happy are you when you do them.’ -John 13:17 |
We are saved to serve, not to sit around and wait for heaven. God has a mission for you in the world. Many believers have abandoned living for God’s purpose and settled for personal fulfilment. The mature believer stops asking – ‘who is going to meet my needs and starts asking – ‘whose need can I meet’. |
