PoliticsRe: Buhari To Launch Free Health Scheme For Women, Children by docadams: 12:21am On Nov 22, 2018
Officialpdpnig:
What you are saying translates to more jobs being created in the medical sector.

Of course it would be strictly government related hospitals and health centers that most likely would be used
A PPP approach would have been more appropriate or a health scheme akin to the NHIS but unfortunately such approach in the Nigerian setting will be subject to abuse just like the present NHIS. Private sector involvement will still guarantee employment of more health personnel and deeper penetration.

I think LGs will be more grassroot and more effective.
Should this be the case then the workforce at the LG level will need upgrading to include ideally a gynaecologist and a paediatrician per health facility for quality health care delivery or at least 2 medical officers. It will require much money. It is doable, nevertheless.

This is highly welcomed. It will no doubt reduce maternal and infant mortality which rate is presently worrisome.. But which health facilities are going to be used, states or LGs. Awaiting full disclosure. In any case

Since you will refuse to read, here is Atiku speech cartoon for you
You disappoint me. Again, my question is can Atiku still be called an orphan when the. Mother remarried after the death of his father. In simple English, can somebody with a mother and a step-father be called an orphan?
PoliticsRe: Atiku Vs Orphan: Setting The Record Straight by docadams: 5:54pm On Nov 21, 2018
engineerboat:
I was taken aback when APC BMC start shouting Atiku lie when he says he sell wood as orphan.

I will base my fact check on

1. UNICEF definition of orphan

https://www.unicef.org/media/orphans

2. Muslim definition of orphan

https://www.ummah.com/forum/forum/islam/general-islamic-topics/199954-the-orphan-in-islamic-law

3. In biblical Perspective.

God Says "I will be Father to the Fatherless"

4. Martial Webster dictionary definition of an orphan
Engineerboat, you left out the most important issue. Atiku lost his Dad at an early age and the mother remarried soon after. Was he still an orphan thenceforth? He didn't tell us if he lost his step father before his mother died. So it can be safely assumed that he wasn't an orphan until his mother died in 1984 when he was 38years old. So the claim that he started life as an orphan selling firewood is meant to hoodwink the gullible

You are posting concessions of the ports, intels where Atiku with minimal interest and Tinubu with a larger interest has just five compared to others, have checked out the owners of the other companies.
This post justifies the saying that PDP and its minions are empty upstairs. Where is it stated that Tinubu shares in Intel's is more than Atiku's. Firstly when did Atiku incorporate Tinubu into Intel's. Your noisy nature. here on NL is matched by your ignorance

Privatisation is the way to go...
It will go through series of biddings by prospective buyers ... It will be a transparent process...

The time for real change is now...

Nigerians, who told you it was the privatization of NITEL that brought about the existence of private telecom companies?

PoliticsRe: Contradictions In Atiku's Policy Document by docadams: 10:05pm On Nov 19, 2018
TonyeBarcanista:
Sir, I know the function of NCP, however, the NCP Chairman is like a Company's Chairman while the BPE boss is like the CEO of NCP. Meanwhile, a state governor is both the chairman and CEO of his state.

You can't say the NCP Chairman sold properties to his friends without indicting the BPE boss.

Meanwhile, who are the friends in question? Which asset was illegally privatised? Which asset is unproductive after privatisation?

You have nothing against #TheAtikuPlan
Your trying to put Rufai in the of fire for the ills of NCP while exonerating Atiku was what I disagreed with. Atiku knows the sin he committed against his country, I haven't accused him of anything except to re echo the opinion of his past boss, OBJ. You are the least to even attempt any defense for him.
PoliticsRe: Contradictions In Atiku's Policy Document by docadams: 8:54pm On Nov 19, 2018
TonyeBarcanista:
Absolute balderdash Sir! Stop picking holes where none exits.

Privatisation of the power and telecommunications sectors is one of the best thing to happen to Nigeria. Neither NEPA and NITEL were working prior to the privatisation exercise. Today, we are enjoying it.

Meanwhile, Nasir Elrufai, APC chieftain was the then Chairman of BPE that did the job under the supervision of the VP. If anybody is to sell to friends, Elrufai, not Atiku should be indicted. Beside, who are these friends? Are they nameless?

Repeating same pointless line

Sukuk is never the initiative of Buhari nor did he own it. He deserve no credit

PDP never called Sukuk funding as Islamisatiob attempt.

With improved economy and favorable working environment, 3 million new job is possible.

His government may terminate in 2023 but governance is a continuum and I see nothing amiss here.

As VP he wasn't the President/Commander in Chief, so he hold no blame in the rise of militancy then. However, part of his 2007 blueprint was to establish Ministry of Niger Delta Affairs and Dialogue to address the militancy situation, which successive administration adopted after he lost 2007 poll.

Additionally, the Presidency NEVER backed the kidnap of Chris Ngige!

Get your fact right and embrace #TheAtikuPlan so as to #GetNigeriaWorkingAgain
I used to be a fastidious reader of your posts because even when some weren't dead accurate, they still provided some new information about happenings in Nigeria. But all that have gone with the wind just as your integrity.

Atiku was the Chairman of NCP and Rufai the Secretary

Functions of NCP

Approve policies on privatization and commercialization.

Approve guidelines and criteria for valuation of public enterprises for privatization and choice of strategic investors.

Approve public enterprises to privatized or commercialized.

Approve the prices of shares or assets of the public enterprises to be offered for sale.

Approve the appointment of privatization advisors and consultants.

To approve the budget of the Council.

The Bureau of Public Enterprises is the secretariat of the National Council on Privatisation

Bureau of Public Enterprise
The Bureau Of Public Enterprises (BPE) serves as the secretariat of the National Council on Privatisation (NCP) and is charged with the overall responsibility of implementing the council's policies on privatisation and commercialisation.

Tell me you were not serious when you elevated Rufai (the Secretary)above Atiku(the Chairman) in the ranking of NCP functionaries. It's just like saying that an SSG is more powerful than a governor.

Where were you when Ngige was kidnapped. Probably still in school. So I don't think you will know much of what happened. Even if you do you won't tell the truth because of your new found romance with PDP.
Ngige kidnapping was orchestrated from Abuja with the Uba brothers and the IGP as troop commanders. Chief Audu Ogbe saved the day.

OBJ may be senile now but he was clear headed when he said this of Atiku:

Don't be silly. Ganduje as a sitting governor has immunity from prosecution and so can't be arraigned. It's even more reasonable for you to ask why he hasn't been investigated or even impeached by the state HOA. Thank you, thank you proproly.. They've all lost their sense of reasoning. Of course, intellect is zero.

PoliticsRe: Congested Lagos Ports May Ease As Preferred Bidder Emerges For Ibom Deep Seaport by docadams: 5:15pm On Nov 19, 2018
Blue3k2:
I dont know what you mean by monopoly. Yes they stopped intel from being exclusive oil importer from what I read. There are many port opperators you can look on NPA website see list.
What I mean is before now Intels was said to be the only logistics provider in the SS Ports as well as colluding with NPA in previous years to categorize these ports. This made the Intels areas of operations solely in charge of crude oil.
PoliticsRe: Congested Lagos Ports May Ease As Preferred Bidder Emerges For Ibom Deep Seaport by docadams: 4:51pm On Nov 19, 2018
Blue3k2:
This great news. It would be amazing if they complete the port in 2 years like they're forcasting. The company's handling port are top notch. Maybe this will convice people the federal government isnt out to stifle port.

The port will be a boon to the Akwa Ibom economy. It should be leagues better than the other port and cheaper to maintain since it hss deep natural depth. The FTZ and Ibom Industrial city gives opportunities for more exports. The port will have super highway to clear goods but a rail line going north south like Lagos would be needed in future.

Ps: Lol instant front page. I posted this days ago no traffic on thread. Its shows nobody cares unless you shoehorn lagos into conversation.
Blue3k2, when it comes to SS ports, one question always come to my mind. Who handles logistics in these ports. I know it used to be monopolized by Intel's resulting in so many unfair business practices. Has the FG broken Intels monopoly?
