Very disappointing how some cowards had to rely on a group of homeless junkies in the U.K to act as their mouthpiece. Typically, the average easterner is all chest beating, huffing, puffing and farthing. Can hardly confront any challenge head on except when under the influence. |

Politics › Re: Drug Abuse Evidence Of Buharis Failure. by docadams: 6:47am On May 03, 2018 |
mekaboy: So poverty and unemployment increased in 2017 and this administration feels that banning cough syrup with codeine is the solution to drug abuse.
Then some people in the North blame the igbos for drug abuse by northern youths. The question is, why are they doing more drugs under buhari than jonathan?
The truth is that the northern youths don't want to see the result of their choice in 2015. They need something to make it seem like they are dreaming. They want something to suppress the feeling of guilt, regret and frustration. That is the reason they have taken to drugs.
You can't have rising unemployment, poverty, and a hopeless government and expect youths to stay away from drugs.
There are no jobs, poverty is increasing and the government they look up to, keeps insulting and embarrassing them.
I hope they can open their eyes to better choice in 2019, else only God know what they will smoke. I don't know where you fit in in the scheme of things. If you need help to chase away the demons terrorising you, please do tell. If you are a junkie raveged by drugs, please do confess while you are still salvageable. |

@Redoil, PaChukwudi44, FirefireGrowing up doesn't imply one should leave ones reasoning behind. Social media should not also confer lassitude on you. You think you can reasonably throw tantrum where PMB is. He is miles ahead in time. http://saharareporters.com/2018/05/01/icpc-advocates-special-courts-corrupt-casesThe Acting Chairman of the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC), Dr. Musa Abubakar has lent his voice to the call for the establishment of special courts for corruption cases...establishing a special Court to adjudicate over corruption and other financial crimes is one thing we have longed for since the establishment of our Commission‘The proposal will no doubt put flesh to the provision of Section 61 (3) of the ICPC Act 2000, which requires that Chief Judges of states should designate a court specifically to deal with corruption cases and other related matters. It further revealed that 83% of the respondents endorsed the creation of specialized courts to handle only corruption cases as that would expedite and fast-track the prosecution of such cases and in turn lead to more convictions.”The ground work for independent tribunal for corrupt cases have obviously been laid long before now. PMB task is just to dot a few i's and cross a few it's. I expect you to yell me you are now wiser on the issue. |
