I hope we can now put this fuel scarcity behind us, thank God this was done before Christmas. And I also hope this payment of subsidies will now be reconsidered since removing it now wouldn't really affect the cost of petroleum products.
Hmmmmmm

The subsidy conundrum is really a maze of confusion.

Call it sentiment I prefer Faleke.

That aside, APC penchant for meticulous approach to thorny legal issues is legendary. They hardly thread on a floor ladden with banana peels.

However, if need be, steps are taken assuredly but never to go backward.

But if na PDP... Hmmmmmm

At jeje speed we don't move backward and we ain't likely to crash.

Meanwhile, can IPODs like Sincere9gerian inform us if the Niger bridge has been completed and opened to traffic as promised by GEJ?
This is to ensure that we are not being 'hoodwinked' by Fashola and PMB is not claiming the 'glory' of another man.

If, however, the bridge is still as it was during GEJ 'glorious' era, can inSincere9gerian tell us if GEJ has gone on exile?

The Election mandates:

1. Baba stop corruption - he has stopped it in record time that confounds even Guinness book.
2. Baba identify the looters - that's being given accelerated attention.
3. Baba recover looted fund - CBN vault is burgeoning from recovered stolen money.
4. Baba you must prosecute looters or else...- Game on!

Humans are insatiable but then Baba is indefatigable .
PoliticsRe: Ribadu Speaks On $15m Bribe From Ibori by docadams: 10:53am On Dec 07, 2015
Hmmmmmmm.

Whenever I hear the name Ribadu I remember a trojan
combing the dark streets in the night for corrupt criminals.
His type is rare to come by. He was fixated on the pursuit of
enemies of the state but his principals had other objectives.
Under any other government (excepting PDP), he would
have been a world acclaimed icon in anticorruption crusade.
We are bound to stumble but my memory of him is that of a
daring and fearless enforcer.

O Ribadu! I wished you were still in EFCC, you would have
complimented PMB very well. GEJ and his acolytes would
have been where they belonged.

Nigerians. We need to think objectively with all possibilities considered. SR made an allegation with controversial evidence, no response from Dino till this moment. SR has gone quiet suddenly.
It is not in Dino's character to be this silent. He must surely be in a quandary as to what step to take. Any wrong move may attract a killer punch from SR by way of publishing recent transactions with the account.

You did a good job yesterday moderating the thread on Bayelsa governorship election. But today it's a mad house - so many threads creating so much confusion. Why so?
PoliticsRe: James Faleke Remains Yahaya Bello's Deputy - INEC by docadams: 1:22pm On Dec 06, 2015
Mynd44:
As of right now, I think he can only resign to either Bello or the state house of assembly(I stand corrected)
Heck, even APC cant remove him right now. Only the state house can
There are 3 outlets: resign, get impeached, or follow Audu.

PoliticsRe: Kogi: Court Gives INEC Permission To Continue Election by docadams: 2:00pm On Dec 04, 2015
PassingShot:
I said it that neither INEC nor APC erred.

1. Election was not won or lost based on the Electoral Act as there were more registered voters than the margin with which APC/Audu was leading. And since the Act recognized only registered voters and not PVC collected, the election became inconclusive.

2. Faleke did not participate in APC's primaries whereas the Electoral Act clearly stated that for any candidate to be elegible for election into office, he/she must have participated fully in his/her party's primaries. So, how will APC have used Faleke who didn't meet this criteria? Doing so would have handed the governorship to Wada through the courts later.

The case of Boni Haruna and that of Amaechi or any other similar ones are clearly different from this Kogi's case. In Kogi, no winner has emerged and it's the reason Faleke is unfortunate here.
Hmmmmmmm

My sentiments are with Faleke but my little sense says the party is right on this.

A loose Lion in an urban environment requires different levels of non lethal to lethal response.

I'm certain the operatives on the ground chose to use a lethal weapon on a prized possession because of danger to themselves or public at large.

I'm okay with how they responded.

In my view, this comment is the closest to the what actually happened.
@Seun, you have a point too. One can like animals but I condemn people that claim to love them. Such persons are wont to spend the salary of a professor feeding their animal pet. To elevate the life of an animal above a human is insane. Utter rubbish
Imagine making animals benefactors of human will. Nonsense.

PoliticsRe: Budget Of Sacrifice, Restoration And Change By Malam Nasir El-rufai by docadams:
Hmmmmmmm

See budget!
Budget of hope from time-tested school of the progressives.
A simplified budget meant for easy appraisal.
A cost cutting budget to provide more for the long neglected masses under the PDP wasteful years.

Whenever I see Rufai I remember the adage that bad association spoils good habit.
It means one can never attain his destined goal under the roof of a 'killer' party.

Rufai, it's high time you held thanksgiving for being rescued by Allah.
Allah is a God of miracle, indeed!
