An alleged 100 level banking and finance student of ambrose ali university, Ekpoma, Identified as blessing, has reportedly lost her life in a ghastly accident with her lover yesterday.

The sad event was said to have occurred while the duo were out on a ride yesterday in the town.

A labelled Nigerian malaysia burger has reportedly lost his life ater jumping off from his condo in malaysia.

According to his friend, prince egbchere, who posted the story on Facebook few hours ago, the malaysian big boy reportedly died after jumping off from his apartment in the country.

The motivation behind his actions is yet to be ascertained, but it is believed to be linked with depression.

His name was however not mentioned by his friend but he will be missed by many.

The Edo State Police command has said they have arrested some suspects after dispatching a team of crack detectives to Ambrose Ali University and Ekpoma at large as regards last week's massacre.

The Commissioner of Police, Mr Johnson Kokumo said that his detectives have been able to make some arrest relating to the killings.

The Commissioner said: “Yes, some arrests have been made and the suspects have been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department headquarters in Benin.”

He added that: “Ambrose Alli University, I must admit is a den of cultists. The killings were as a result of a fight between rival cult groups. We are determined to get to the heart of the matter and check the rising wave of cultism at the school and other tertiary institutions in the state. We can’t tolerate the situation”.

Mr Kokumo also added that about five persons were killed during the bloody shootout not twelve as stipulated, but no matter the number, the case is alarming and the police can no longer tolerate he said

Mr Chidi Nwanbuzor, the Edo State Police Spokesman, added:“Investigations are ongoing. Some arrests have been made but disclosing the number will jeopardize investigations. A locally made gun and ammunition have been recovered. We will come out with a detail report at the end of investigations. It will be premature at the moment to disclose facts.” he added

A little boy identified as Ifesinachi Emmanuel Nwaeti  been left stranded with no where to go after been allegedly thrown out of his master's house in Iyana Ipaja.

The boy who claims to comes from Izii local government area in Ebonyi State, was spotted under a bridge with all his properties packaged in two nylon bags by some individuals who posted his pictures on social media.

Emmanuel claims to have been thrown out of the house by his master who he was brought to stay with from the village for reasons yet to be ascertained.

A terminally ill bride who married the love of her life in a hastily arranged wedding at her hospital bed has died of cancer few days after.

The deceased bride, Nina Marino, 19, was on life support when she and her heart rub Joey Williams, 21, tied the knot in the intensive care unit (ICU). The young lovers had hoped to get married in a church, but were forced to marry in the hospital after the doctor told them she likely wouldn’t make it through the night. .

The duo swiftly moved into action as Nina wore her wedding dress and a headband of flowers as they said their marriage vows, she was then kissed on the cheek by her lover and everyone soon celebrated.

A guitarist played songs and her room was decorated with flowers and photos of the couple.

She made it through that night and was able to hold on for three more days before losing the battle to cancer.

The bride was however joyful as she fulfilled her life’s dream of getting married to the love of her life.

They tied the knot in front of about 30 relatives, friends and hospital workers in Nina’s room on the intensive care unit.

Her burial is expected to hold soon.

The Liberian government has now commenced investigating the sudden disappearance of two huge shipments of Liberian dollar banknotes printed overseas and brought into the country between November 2017 and August 2018.

According to the presidency, the total amount of the two shipments of banknotes that have vanished is approximately $60 million.(about 2.1 trillion naira).

It was gathered that the containers of the money left a port at Monrovia, the country's capital under heavy security escort but never made it into the bank till now.

It was also learnt that the convoy which was headed for the central bank suddenly disappeared and is nowhere to be found.

The Ministry of  justice has however pleaded with Liberian citizens to remain calm while high ranking investigators look into the matter.

A yet to be identified student of Ambrose ali university Ekpoma, has been found dead inside a well in his hostel, opposite palm well street, Ujemen.

His body was found floating inside the well while another student went to fetch water from the well this afternoon.

This is coming few hours after some suspected cultisit opened fire at a party, killing over 9 students including a final year medical student.

Details about the student is yet to be assertained at the time of filing this report, as our agents could only take pictures.

Relevant authorities have been contacted and his body will soon be taken out.

Although not confirmed yet, talks flying around the scene say that the deaceased had been complaining about evil spirits chasing him.

What looked like blood was seen on his hands, according to our sources.

His body was been left untouched as they await the arrival of relevant authorities to take out his body.

Former governor of plateau state, Joshua Dariye who is currently serving a 14-year jail term over financial misconducts during his governorship tenure, has picked up and submitted his All Progressives Congress (APC) nomination form to re-contest as senator in next year’s election.

Confirming the news, APC Publicity Secretary in Plateau Mr Chindo Dafat said;

“Yes, Sen. Dariye has picked a nomination form to seek a third term. It is true. He is among those jostling for the APC ticket in Plateau Central,’’ he said

He also added that it was senator Dariye’s ward secretary came to sign the nomination form on his behalf

"It has been filled and his supporters are already campaigning ahead of the party primary election,’’ he said.

further explaining dafat said that senator dariye who is in a rather unfortunate condition could win the primary's from prison and it would not be a surprise as he is not the first politician to do so.

"Dariye is still very popular and relevant in Plateau Central in spite of his current ordeals, Aside possible success in the appeal, we are also praying for a state pardon. That is another possibility.

Dariye is very important to our party, unfortunately, this happened to him. It is not that we cannot win elections without him; we can win without him, but he has done a lot and is well loved by his people.

Somebody could be in the hospital or prison and pick a nomination from from there. We have no right to deny anyone a nomination form. Even INEC cannot stop Dariye from contesting the 2019 elections.

There is no law that stops him from buying the form. Whoever comes for the nomination form can get it. I see it as a constitutional matter. Only the court can disqualify him.

If Dariye wins elections from prison, he will not be the first Nigerian to do that. Iyiola Omisore, from Osun, once won a senate seat while in prison,” Mr Dafat stated.

A Nigerian widow who identified her self as charity yansen took to facebook in a live video to call out popular Liberian-Born Nollywood actor, Frank Artus for allegedly absconding with her money after flirting with her.

The mother of three who described the actor as "broke", accused him of duping her of her hard earned money. She also mentioned that the actor and his girlfriend have gone online to spread false rumors about her, urging his fans to contribute money for him to pay up his debts or risk a burial contribution for the actor.

"Start contributing money for frank artus burial because the trailer that will jam him is doing press up" she said.

Mr Atana Ariyanto, a citizen of Java Island in Indonesia, had the shock of his life on when his wife Suriyanta delivered a ‘cyclops’ baby with one eye just in the middle of her forehead.

From reports, the Atanas welcomed their fifth child, a baby girl, at at the Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Hospital of Mandailing Natal district in North Sumatra on Thursday. Mrs Atana was said to have had her baby through a natural delivery process.

The baby weighed 5 lbs, had only one eye in the middle of her forehead, nose missing and had all other organs complete. Doctors hurriedly placed the baby under intensive care and a team of medical staff from the hospital checked up on her every 15 minutes but unfortunately she passed away about 7 hours later, same day of her birth.

The head of the Mandailing Natal District Health office, Dr Syarifuddin Nasution reported that “The baby girl was born in a condition of abnormalities.

“We had to put the oxygen hose from the mouth because there was no nose. Babies with these conditions are usually born by caesarean section. In general, such babies experience respiratory problems and heartburn because their heart rate is below 100 per minute.

He added: “This is a very rare case,if her condition had improved, we would have referred her to Medan but we were aware that the baby had a very short life expectancy.”

The doctor suspects that the cause of the baby's anomalies may be due to exposure to mercury and the Rubella virus. He suspected this because the parents of the late baby live in the Kayu Jati village, Panyabungan City District and they work in one of the mines.

David okorogheye, the delta state boy who floored his jamb and waec with 336 and 9A1's respectively has been denied admission into the university of lagos to study medicine, on the ground of his young age.

The 15-year-old who stunned the general public by his outstanding performance, was not allowed to take part in the post UTME exams, he has been asked to try again next year when he comes of age.

Efforts to contact relevant authorities as to whether he could be considered for special admission has proved abortive as authorities say the law must be followed.

The lad however has come to terms with the surrounding suituations and says he will wait for the next year's admission.

War broke out last week between two slayqueens at club district GRA, benin city over an alleged male client.

According to eyewitnesses, the two ladies who were involved in a heated arguement resulted to throwing blows at each other even after they were advised to let the matter go.

They however ignored all warnings and were left to settle their scores in a bobby erupting fight which lasted for minutes.

The incident reportedly took place at about 4am on saturday last week after a club session.

The fight was later settled by a higher colleague and both ladies went about thier normal activities.

It was indeed a sad incident on thursday, as the residence of the fomer chief medical director of the university of benin teaching hospital(UBTH), proffessor Micheal ibadin went up in flames.

The fire which reportedly started at about 7.30pm consumed the top floor of the proffesor's house destroying properties worth millions of naira, including the proff's vital documents and certificates, but no life was lost, according to SCN

It took the intervention of the Nigerian army fire fighter to quell the fire as efforts from the Uniben(whose water finished within 5 minutes of operation) and Ubth fire fighters proved abortive.

While explaining his ordeal, proffesor ibadin said he had just returned from the office and went to turn on his generator when he noticed smoke coming out from a room.

“I immediately switched off the generator and took out my fire extinguisher to combat the fire with the help of neighbours and some security men in my house. I also immediately contacted the fire service station within the university campus, which is the closest to my house and that of the UBTH.

The response of the uniben fire service was very poor, they even ran out of water after operating for 5 minutes, he added

While still hammering on their incompetency, professor  ibadin added,

“The UNIBEN fire service was the first I contacted because they are closest to my house. While they were battling to stop the fire, I called for the UBTH fire fighters, just in case they (UNIBEN) were overwhelmed.

“I think some good neighbours also called the Edo State Fire Service and the Nigerian Army Fire Service to come to my rescue. But nothing much was done.”

He said, “I lost everything I ever worked for in life, including my certificates and other vital documents and my clothes. I could not remove anything from my rooms, not even my telephone set.

“Everything was completely burnt down. My entire three bedrooms were not spared in the fire outbreak, but I thank God no life was lost.

He also disclosed that his wife lost close to N2m in the fire that engulfed her bedroom in the house.

“I did not have much cash in my room; the best I would have in my room is, maybe, N10,000. The loss was mainly my documents, books. He said
