The perception of tv shows varies from individual to individual. For instance, there are some people that believe Breaking Bad started off "slow", but personally, I don't think so. I think it started off with a bang.

What I'm trying to say is what you may see as a slow start and a boring show in general, may turn out to be a perfect start and a perfect show to someone else. Case in point, a certain person in this thread criticized HBO for their "slow" shows, a tremendous absurdity from my POV, cuz I find HBO premium shows aesthetically pleasing - visually and mentally.

Bottom line: tastes are subjective.

I can give you a list of shows that I think picked up right from the getgo, but I should warn you, you may not share the same opinion. Indicate if you still want me to go ahead.

I don't frequent a particular website. For the fact it's impossible for a website to have every tv shows past and present in their archives, I patronize at least 10 of them. All have good resolutions, 480p being the lowest. Unfortunately, I can't post the links here because, spambot. Drop your email and I'll send you all the links.



I also use the "index" trick when I'm feeling a little lazy, cuz it's much easier. Thing is, index trick is successful 60% of the time (give or take), esp if you're looking for foreign language shows & quality shows that don't have much online presence.

The index trick: index of [insert name of show here] mkv. Example, Index of Cardinal mkv.
