TravelRe: Fast Pace Of Lagos-Ibadan Railway: Does FG Deserves #Accolades? by dodelight(m): 5:29pm On Jun 21, 2018
Inspired by Jonathan's minister of work's achievement, Amaechi knows some people will surely laugh at him if he has nothing to show at the end of the day. Kudos anyways!
TravelRe: Fast Pace Of Lagos-Ibadan Railway: Does FG Deserves #Accolades? by dodelight(m): 5:26pm On Jun 21, 2018
Despite the fact that I'm no fan of Rotimi Amaechi, he is the only minister that's actually working hard in this administration. He actually wishes Buhari has something to point as achievement by 2019, but sorry for him, his boss doesn't have administrative success in his DNA.

Buhari knows they will fail woefully, so why will he show up. He already said Fayemi's ministerial seat will be reserved; so gross failure looms for APC.

While I'm don't support that name-calling of that someone's wife, at least that someone's wife was not older than Soyinka.

Hmmm...
At least Reuben found his voice again after being part of a disgraced administration.

Stranac:
I respect you opinion sir.

But dont you think a country where basic things of life such good road, power, jobs that there wont be someone to blame for certain misfortune?

I dont think most civilised countries blame things on witches and wizards
Yes, what make witches and wizards have such high recognition in our part of the world is ignorance, which is a kind of poverty. Yet I tell you that it's not all about poverty, cause there are rich, wealthy and highly educated people who still suffer from demonic oppression. But since you said you don't believe they exist there's no point convincing you otherwise.
At this point I would have said "Ignorance is bliss", but not believing demonic operations and powers exist makes such person a potential victim of their activities.

I dont believe in all those witches nonsense,i think poverty is the reason for this witches and wizards..

imagine a country where you have to pray and fast to get a job..
go to pastors for simple illness
even calling cats, bats, rats agents of devil..

Ask yourself why poor people are mostly consider witches??

I agreed we love our tradition and thats how it suppose to me,we arent israelites or arabs,we are africans and we are proud so i dont see anything wrong in practicing it
Like one of my mentors do say, which I strongly agree with:
There are two extremists: 1. Those who don't believe that darkness and principalities exist; and
2. Those who see devil or darkness in everything.

I guess you belong to the first.

That you as an individual are not a witch doesn't mean your neighbour isn't. Whether you believe it or not wizardry is real, and everything is not about poverty.

Thanks OP. My fiancée is an Edo girl, and we've been friends for over 10years now, and she is a proof that that myth about Edo girls is just a lie.
But talking about witchcraft, though I'm hearing this for the first time that Edo girls are considered to be witches, I think the reason for that opinion is not farfetched. Edo indigenes (not all, though) have this strong sense of their tradition; they hold it so dearly. And since part of that tradition include some idolatry rituals, their children are susceptible to wizardry and witchcrafts: I mean those who are still so unbending about their Edo/Bini culture.
PoliticsRe: Buhari To Fayemi: I Won’t Replace You In Hurry, Will Come For Your Inauguration by dodelight(m): 5:38pm On Jun 06, 2018
Obviously, Buhari is a loose canyon. I'm certain he didn't understand that the meaning of not being in hurry to replace Fayemi means Fayemi's chance at the poll is slim. That statement on it's own has dealt a blow to their campaign in Ekiti. It's good news for Nigerians, though.

EducationSilent Tears In The Classroom by dodelight(op): 10:20pm On May 31, 2018
*Silent Tears in the Classroom*

Anytime it's school time I *get sad*.
Yes I mean sad not because I don't like school but because *I feel I don't belong there*.

My teachers say everyone is better than me because they get better grades in tests and exams.

*My teachers* always compare me with others but how can I dare tell them that am different from them.

*My teachers* always say I don't do well even though they teach me well but how can I tell them that the *teaching method* they use *doesn't favour me* even though it favours the majority.

How can I tell my teachers that *I just need motivation* not *condemnation*.

I wish I can be bold to tell my teachers that I have to be *understood not be compared*.

My maths teacher says i am *good for nothing* because I am not good in calculations.

My science teacher says *I am useless* because I always get low grades.

My English teachers say *I have no future* because I can't express myself fluently *in the white man's language*.

They seem to have forgotten that I am the one that *led the school soccer team to win that trophy*.

I am the same student that *always play those drums* to the admiration of all.

Sometimes when I ask *why they don't consider what I do as important* they tell me *WAEC doesn't ask those things in examinations*.

*Tears* always fill me but I can't pour them because no one understands me.

*My parents* can't even understand me because *my teachers* make them believe *I'm good for nothing*.

I thought my parents will tell them that *I repair all the electrical appliances in the house without any training*.

*Who will hear me now* because I and many who are like me are being destroyed

*Who will help tell them* that even though we might not be able to get the certificate, *we have *great talents?*.

Who will help tell teachers that they should not force their dreams on us but guide us to nurture our *God given talents*?

*Who will hear our cry?*

I am one of the voices of the *many silent voices in the class*.
