As you can see, these 3 engine oils quoted are European oils and the fourth oil is Favoil from the Uk which I have tested on both a Range Rover and a Toyota. On a Rangerover, It dried up after a month while on the Sienna, six months after , no shortage. The sienna is a 3.5 engine while the Rangerover is a 4.4 engine. I have used addinol for all brands and it’s still the same level. Liqui Molly is now SN plus but I am yet to access it properly

2006 Toyota corolla u mentioned, Toyota didnt say we shd use synthetic oil but 5w30. Addinol German oil u stated here are not in US and if d oil is good as u stated American we buy them. I will only advised to use what's good for your engine. U stated u recommended Mobil 1 to 2013 Toyota camry owner but d oil dried up after 2 months but not all 2013 Camry dried up after six months but depend on wears and tear in d engine.
In conclusion use what's good for u and most important is d viscosity of d oil if d oil is genuine and that's my opinion.

One thing you have to know is that almost every car of that age will burn oil to an extent.

My car is a 2007 corolla. And I observed that it burns about a liter of oil every 1,500 miles.

This means if I change oil now, before I cover 1,500 miles, the oil will be nearing the lower end of the dipstick.

They said I'd have to change my valve oil seals. But I'm not ready to tamper with my perfectly running engine for now. So I let it be.

The oil consumption is not that drastic in my case.

If your own oil burn is not that drastic, I'd advise you to leave it and top off the oil when needed.

Moving from mechanic to mechanic may be counter productive.

And even if you buy a tokunbo engine now, there's no guarantee it will not burn oil simply due to the age of the engine.

Problem no dey finish. Learn to manage and live with some. Instead of trying to solve them.

Its a good advice if you can still manage it cos if u buy new engine, it may still short but my Toyota corolla 2006 doesn't short oil even with Mobil 1 EP at 5000 miles and I have gone up to 6500miles without adding a single engine oil b4 I change it but d car have gone to Ondo from Lagos during this period. Car history report is very important whenever u want to purchase car and always go for low actual mileage

Those selling quality engine oil, we tell u if your car is tokunbo then buy expensive or foreign quality oil but if u have been using Naija 20w50 for long just continue using d oil cos u have abuse d engine already. To my main point, the engine is shortened oil but Mobil 1 is not d solution to short of oil cos I still repeat that d engine will still short oil with Mobil 1 of 25K, y wasting money on that, its better to continued using d previous oil until d engine is pack off or if he can rebuilt d engine, he or she can start using d quality oil u talked abt.

In Cameroon most well to do men stay with their kids after a separation especially if the woman eventually remarries. For a year now my kids have been with their mum because I have been very mobile. I pay their fees and buy their personal effects, I put their mum on a 300 US Dollars equivalent monthly allowance for their upkeep. I was on my way home yesterday when i got a low oil pressure warning light on my dashboard. Since i was 2miles away, i kept on driving knowing when i must add or change the oil next...

When I got down to open up the gate i noticed a "knocking sound" from the engine haaa!...

You may have knock your engine but anytime oil sign trigger on dashboard, u shd stop d car and park well, then call your mechanic for proper examination in order to b on a safer side

if you want a very good car paint finish negotiate with the panel beater for smoothing and sanding only go and buy paint yourself,if you give a worker #200k he will go and still buy #40k China and Ghana paint product,I painted my Honda last 2 months the panel beater charged #35k and I bought paint and accessories for #76k at ppg,and the day he will spray I brought the paint and paid #5k to use an oven booth for 2 hrs,I was there until he finished painting I can't trust those guys they are mischievous,China paint will scratch if you just wash it with rag ,and fade in months.

When last did you service your corolla b4 u notice car is consuming fuel, if d car has been service for long, Pls service d machine, your car will b okay to your normal fuel consumption.
