Lady calls out her newly-wedded husband for allegedly deceiving her into marrying him

Two months after their wedding, a lady has called out her husband, Emmanuel Egba, for allegedly deceiving her into marrying him.

The lady, identified as Oladimeji Oluwatosin, revealed they got married on February 19, 2022, at First East Circular road, in Benin City, Edo State.

According to her, “We dated for six months and he said he wanted to get married. He deceived me into marrying him because we are Witnesses and we believe once we get married we can't divorce, except on the ground of adultery.

He borrowed money to show off, pretended that he was rich and came for my hand in marriage. My family and I agreed because he was acting all nice.

When we were preparing for the wedding he lied that his company was owing him N11million. So my family took the responsibility of the wedding, did everything, only for me to get to his house and find out he has been lying to me all along.

He promised to open a tailoring shop for me but he couldn’t even feed me, talk more of opening the shop. I told him I was going to tell the elders in our congregation and he thre#tened to k#ll me because he knew he would be disfellowship.

He even locked me in the bathroom one day and I was screaming for help, luckily for me his neighbors came to my rescue. I left his house that day.

Ladies that want to get married now should please make thorough research before they get married.”

I don't believe this story that has no link. Witnesses don.t run things like that. It's either both of them are fakes or somebody just trying to maligh the name of witnesses.

This is not about Sowore alone, but about given those who are fresh blood opportunity to serve the country too. Some of those who we are campaigning for have been stealing from this country since early 1990's, they have not moved the country forward but backward. Why can't we try new hands. Like i said in another post, Nigerians will be saying they cannot waste their votes by voting for any less popular candidate, but all the ones we have been voting for PDP and APC since 1999, what have we gained from it? Still wasted with punishment inflicted on us through their bad governance and corruption. We can't make progress in Nigeria until we change that mentality. We can't continue doing the same thing in the same way with the same result and expect a miracle to change the result for us. This is the right time to use the power of vote to chase all those old bad politicians out of power and relevancy but we are failing to utilise our chance.

When you tell them to vote for less popular candidate that has not been in government to steal before, they will reply saying 'I can't waste my vote'. Last September i came to Naija on 3 weeks holiday, i visited Ogba, Ikeja, Alimosho, Agege and what i experienced was nothing to write home about as there were places flooded so much i had to abandon my car and take okada just to keep up with my appointment, and even i had to raise my leg up high while the okada man was passing through the flood.

Some people have been recruited or get paid to come online and start rubbishing Osinbajo's image. I don't understand all the noise about betrayal. They are just talking bla bla and reasoning as if Naija presidency is Tinubu's birth right which Osinbajo is contesting with him. Abeg, is it Tinubu's family's turn?

Yes they do practice it, just take a sample of 10 Jehovah's Witnesses family you can see around and confirm it. No family is perfect but they work hard to keep their family in the way Jesus Christ taught Christians. They are the only religion i have observed with very minimal divorce rate, and when it happens you will even discover that its usually one of the couple is not a true JW. A true JW will not divorce unless there is a case of adultery involved and even in most cases, they do forgive and turn a new leaf.
