ePoster:Why are you tagging all those demons? They are on special assignment to turn truth heads down. Even if you provide video evidence showing the soldiers carrying dead bodies, they will tell you it isnt real. Leave them abeg. |
olatade:The coordinator should sign off on the memo and file it. Shikena. Hopeless Satanic leaders. |
SolutionMee:Something is wrong with you. |
docsholz:Okay. 1 person was killed. Can you replace him or her? Or better still, will you give up your life than have properties worth a 100billion destroyed? Instead of people to vent their anger on the very person that caused this whole thing, the useless president we have, you are venting your frustrations on people who responded with violence. A situation that would have been calmed long ago and protests discontinued without much issues has degenerated to all this due to bad leadership, and you are blaming the products of bad leadership instead of the bad leaders. |
yusufu16:Yusufu, what are the names of the 2 people sanwolu confirmed died? |
Moneywirer:Honestly if i see the Aminat508 Op, na to land am better flying kick. If he/she were hungry and sees such an opportunity he will let it go, and return home hungry so that he can protect the integrity of the state. People are hungry and the hopeless politicians leading them are still hoarding palliatives after stealing public funds and you call those guys hoodlums. What does hoodlum mean? Nonsense. |
Oladdesigng:For what purpose? So that every now and then a tribe gather themselves together to kill others? Nigeria has no benefits. Nigeria has to die for its occupants to live. |
History555:IPOB o!!! Ipob has struck again. You know since the go-live of Biafra Radio Hausa service, Nnamdi Kanu now controls hausa and fulani hoodlums. Mad people everywhere. |
Origamist:You are totally mad. Was it igbos that burnt tinubu's properties? Was it igbo kids that were swimming in Akiolu's pool? was it igbos that went to burn the BRT parks? One thing i know for sure is that if the fight starts, where ever you are, you go chop am. Cow. |
dukeprince50:But its good leaders that set up and strengthen good systems. |
dukeprince50:If it were so, no nation would have good leaders. Evidence on ground shows that many nations have wonderful leadership. |
We have agreed to do the following: a. ..... b..... c.... d.... e... f.... Who reads a speech like that? |
2mercy:Any task without a delivery timeline is useless. |
Some imbeciles have been accusing people of lying about the lekki massacre. The President didn't even mention it. Too bad. |
OZOnNengiTheory:There are frontiers. The entertainers that started it, the likes of Aisha Yusefu, the ladies in charge of the lekki protests, key social media influencers etc. You can have a hundred of them in attendance. This whole shit would have been solved long ago. |
OZOnNengiTheory:If i were the President, I would have held a physical meeting with the frontiers of the End SARs protests 7 days into the protests which would be covered by all major media houses in the country. Those to be present at the meeting apart from the president and the youth representatives would include the Inspector General of Police, the leadership of the National Assembly, and all the state governors. 1. I would chair the meeting, read out an agenda and invite the youths to propose for inclusion into the agenda anything they felt was necessary to discuss, and adopt the agenda for the meeting. 2. We begin very elaborate and robust discussions on every issue on the agenda 3. All agreements made would have delivery timelines, and responsibilities would be assigned. Members of the government who have responsibilities must commit to meeting up with their deliverable within the timelines agreed or lose their jobs. 4. When timelines and responsibilities have been assigned, i would now request of the youths to immediately notify their comrades to cease protests and monitor the timelines with an agreement that if the government does not meet the timelines, the protests can continue. 5. End the meeting and immediately commence implementation. I do not see how any reasonable person would continue protests after that. It is still possible for him to do this even now, but does he have the capacity? As per rating the speech, i would say 1 over 100. He made a speech that should at least give a point. |

mariahAngel:Dem no pay am anything. The guy has just spoken the truth. You wanted the president to speak, and he has spoken simple. |
Buhari is like "You wanted me to address the nation, I have addressed the nation". |
You need the approval of the NASS to declare a state of emergency. |
mrsage:Are you minding the barggar. |
Fake news
I hope so. |
Please they should go to govt house, target interests of politicians and leave the livelihoods of the masses alone. |
Oh my Lord. What have we done to deserve such leaders? In my humble situation as a person, it is very difficult for me to spend 2k on maybe a drink and pass by a beggar without dropping at least N200. My conscience go dey prick me. Yet person go pack food wen dem give am to share to poor people, him go carry full house, load the remaining for warehouse wen rat go dey chop am. |
"We appeal for calm and a halt to destruction. We are not unawares of attempt to cause ethnic divisions over what is going on. WE should be careful not to play unto the hands of those who have exploited our peoples through divide and rule over the years". Many of such people are presently on rampage in Nairaland. But i wish to remind them that Karma has a time-table. The man who called himself "Lagos" has fled Lagos due to fear of what his supposed loyalists in Lagos may do to him if he shows up in Lagos. |
I expect Sanwolu to make a very powerful statement countering what this spokesperson has just said. Maybe he can use that to redeem his badly damaged reputation. |
Our leaders are heartless o. These are covid 19 palliatives. |
SoBright101:I am not surprised one bit. Na dia way. |
flokii:Where you around in 1966? Anuofia. |
AmuDimkpa:Kanu actually did make some very inciting statements. I listened to it. He called on people to go after Tinubu's properties, and i found it very despicable and nauseating. However, i am consoled that there are hardly any Nnamdi Kanu "worshiper" in Lagos. However, i will always maintain that every sane Yoruba man/woman knows that no igbo person is involved in the destruction of any property in Lagos not only yesterday, but since time immemorial. If Tinubu's boys are looking for those to vent their frustrations on, they should look elsewhere. If they decide to put it on Ndigbo, very well. That is our lot for being across Nigeria. And even if they wipe out or chase out all Igbos from Lagos, which can't happen (even if Nigeria divides), they will still have the same guys that are presently on rampage with them. I would wonder who they will blame it on then the next time it happens. |
Vixlot:Why respond to such a person? Allow him to continue in his folly. The problems of this life cannot be totally solved because those who chose to be stupid will be stupid and they will act stupidly thereby creating problems for the sane ones. If sensible Yorubas chose to swallow the seeds of hate guys like that are attempting to sow and it leads to a tribal crises, we will all face it. Those who die will die and wait for those who survive it to meet them at the great beyond when their own time comes, because no matter how hard we try, everyone must die. |
