The authorities say IPOB are armed, yet nobody has ever seen IPOB with arms except the authorities

The authorities say IPOB is a terrorist group, yet nobody in the East is terrified of IPOB except the authorities

The authorities say IPOB are violent, yet the only violence attributed to IPOB always starts with the authorities being present.

A time comes when you have to ask, 'Is IPOB the problem or the authorities?'

giddy, it is on tape where Nnamdi Kanu wan encouraging members of IPOB to attack and kill police officers, and soldiers, burn their vehicles and offices, and take their weapons. I heard it with my own ears and i had to stop listening because i couldn't stomach it knowing the repercussion such would attract.

What you are seeing in Obigbo is the effect of those statement.

Kanu already knows that the Nigerian state is looking for any means necessary to wipe out IPOB if possible. Why give them an a reason to?

Nwokem, go and look at my posts. I have no time for bull-shit. Onye gwa gi ezioku i si no boko haram. Dey dia.

Make una dey dia dey form IPOB without fire power. Soldiers will continue to use young igbo boys in the east for shooting practice.

If you don't know, the international community isn't going do anything to the Nigerian military, at least not now. And even if they do, can that bring back the lives of those young boys that have been killed?

You cant confront a brute and archaic country like Nigeria without having enormous firepower. And since IPOB does not have that, let them lie low simple.

But if you say you know more than everyone else, i wish you the best.

You are very poor in wisdom . people want freedom . I started seeking freedom before NK emerged . Nk is just asking for the freedom of his people . We ll remember kanu the way the world remember mandella and martin Luther king

Chief leave matter abeg.

By the time the soldiers finish with IPOB youths, Nnamdi Kanu will be so hated that no one will want to hear his name.

I gave up on him when he started telling his members to use molotov cocktails (petrol in bottles) to fight the army, and he actually meant it.

Who does that? It just gave him up as someone who doesn't have a strategy.

Kanu had done so well to galvanize so many youths in the South east. All he had to do was to leave buhari alone and focus on getting the political power of the south east which he would have succeeded in doing at that time. But he blew it.

That followership he enjoyed has started dwindling. The silent support he was getting from people who don't identify as IPOB has also been completely lost.

Its almost game over for him.

We've been saying this for as long as this IPOB agitation has lasted, they don't want to listen. Except you are ready for a full scale war, stop this agitation because it will only yield death.

You need to change your mindset.

You can't take over any political structure in South East when it's still under the evil Nigerian system, which is overseen and controlled by Britain.

Why do you think there aren't much active seaports in the east?
Why do you think that airports are few and railroads are nonexistent in the east?
Many things are disfunctional because this country is overcentralised. Even the trivial stuffs are all on the executive list.

Imagine...
You have oil, yet you still have to submit all of them to the centre, and later come back to the centre like almajiri, begging for allocation.

No sane eastern governor would thrive in this system, that's even apart from the corruption itself.

Stop saying this. Political power is in the hands of a desperate people who are determined to have change. Never has their been a person in recent history of the South East that has been able to draw near fanatical support as Nnamdi Kanu has done. Channeling the minds of those teaming youths to an achievable political cause will see the apolitical elites of the south east joining him and seizing power from all these charlatans occupying the land today.

If IPOB guys are fearless enough to face soldiers is it political thugs of PDP and APC that they can't deal with during an election?

Just imagine 60 House of rep members, 15 Senators, and 5 governors, in addition to other elected officers speaking one language of igbo emancipation? No strategy is more powerful that taking constituted political power. The alternative is direct confrontation which is war, and frankly speaking it isn't possible at this point in time.

The least they should come out with is a demand for state police.

Anything less is a waste of time.

If we can secure our region ourselves, our security problems will reduce significantly.

If security is fair enough, other things can follow.

How can Yerima be securing my land and i expect him to arrest Abdulahi when he infringes on my rights?

Even police brutality will be highly reduced with state police. Do you think James Nwafor could have perpetrated all his evil activities in Akwuzu SARs in his hometown in Ebonyi? When be say people sabi him papa compound? He cant try it.

State Police is the way to go.

Sentiments aside, Nnamdi kanu is too intelligent.

The guy is honestly.

I still believe though he blew an opportunity of a life time. Nnamdi Kanu had the capacity to take over the entire political structure of the South East, which would have made things much much easier for the igbo nation.

Now that he is no longer on ground, and the noose is tightening on IPOB in the South East, it would be very difficult for him to make any major change.

Its standard practice.

This is the reason some people refuse to work for organizations they are not comfortable with. Same reason why many nigerians with a good sense of integrity have refused working for the Nigerian state in any capacity knowing that the government will tie their hands and make them accomplices to bad governance.

Whenever I read some comments about the Igbo and IPOB in this forum I laughed at the ignorance of some of the commentators because they are so detached from the reality or rather been consumed by their jealousy and hatred that the failed to see the hand writing on the Wall. Take for example whenever the IPOB called for sit at home 99% of the Igbo based in the east and south always obeyed, and what did that single action tells you, that 99% of Igbo support Biafra including my humble self only that they do not want war because of the bitter experience of the past one. So wike is too small to ban the activities of IPOB in their own backyard.

Biafra is not achievable without a war, and IPOB cannot fight a war against the Nigerian Army as it is today. The South East will be leveled in a very short while.

Does Kanu want to fight wars with Molotov cocktails which he is asking IPOB members to produce? There is no need for unnecessary wahala.

If Nigeria is restructured to the extent that we have state police so that we can secure ourselves appropriately and have laws guiding our territories, in addition to a sound electoral system, I believe we would be fine in Nigeria.

Anything else would be looking for trouble that we are most likely going to suffer for.

The guy was very stupid. If he is dead, then he caused it.

Isn't he aware that there are racist cops? Why was he pacing all around the place with 2 guns pointed at him, and eventually started charging towards potentially racist cops? C

He will have his moment of popularity accompanied by a few riots and protests here and there until it passes.

All he had to do was to calmly obey the officers and all this most likely would not have happened.

Politics / Re: Alaafin On End SARS: Buhari’s Failure To Address Protesters Led To Loss Of Lives by dokie: 9:44am On Oct 27, 2020
It was something so easy to handle. But Buhari, being an accomplished failure, couldn't handle it.

However, considering that many are beginning to say that the man at the villa is a clone or is completely demented and only follows orders, who are we to blame poor Bubu of "unblessed" memory?

What would the president have done? Hold a physical meeting with the frontiers (state or location coordinators) of the End SARs protests 7 days into the protests which would be covered by all major media houses in the country. Those to be present at the meeting apart from the president and the youth representatives would include the Inspector General of Police, the leadership of the National Assembly, and all the state governors.

1. I would chair the meeting, read out an agenda and invite the youths to propose for inclusion into the agenda anything they felt was necessary to discuss, and adopt the agenda for the meeting.

2. We begin very elaborate and robust discussions on every issue on the agenda. The ones we can achieve as a government, we agree. The ones we can't , we give water-tight reasons why we can't achieve them.

3. All agreements made would have delivery timelines, and responsibilities would be assigned. Members of the government who have responsibilities must commit to meeting up with their deliverables within the timelines agreed or lose their jobs.

4. When timelines and responsibilities have been assigned, i would now request of the youths to immediately notify their comrades to cease protests and monitor the timelines with an agreement that if the government does not meet the timelines, the protests can continue.

5. End the meeting and immediately commence implementation.

I do not see how any reasonable person would continue protests after that.

Incognito403:

Your whole argument assumes that the EndSars protest had representatives. Have you forgotten that the government called for dialogue but they refused saying "it's a movement and has no leader or representatives".

The movement had no leader, the protests had. The Lekki gathering was being coordinated by a group, same goes for Alausa. Their representatives would be invited. Enugu protests was led by people, they should attend. Rivers' protest had leaders, they should attend. Abuja had leaders, they should attend. If the president made a broadcast inviting all these coordinators to attend, they would have gathered themselves in Abuja long ago. Didnt Davido attend a meeting with the I.G?

The truth is that we have very inept leaders, and Buhari is the most inept of them all. He would have saved this situation long ago if he had the will to make positive change. Quite unfortunately, he's only interested in being called Mr. President. Having achieved that, everything else means nothing to him.

Our Portion.

Life is not about den say den say and fake news, it's about real daily realities and hard facts, you can not even go to any court of law and secure indictment for anything without facts or concrete evidence.

Show proof to support your lies with.

You will just die for nothing or live an extremely miserable life.

You better stand back and forget this your grandstanding. The blood of the innocent is not a joke.

Stand back i repeat. Weather people died or not in Lekki, stand back. At a point in time, wisdom demands that we dont walk a path no matter how passionate we are about it.

These guys breaking into covid 19 warehouses and homes of top politicians are not thieves, They are people who these politicians have impoverished over the years. They are taking what ordinarily is theirs.

The hoodlums are looting private individual's businesses.
