My application was refused this afternoon based on purpose of visit, insufficient funds and asset lol.

I'm going for a year course, tuition is 18,000 Cad out of which 10,000 Cad has been paid remaining 8,000 Cad.

I am self sponsor and going with 2 of my kids

Bank statement of almost 20M provided, pay stubs, employment letter, confirmation and promotion letters, my CAC documents registered 7 years ago, land documents valued at 30M etc.

I appreciate your well wishes and prayers.

I gave this application my best but sadly, it was not enough.

I am about to order for CBSA note to really understand their reasons for refusal.

I need your candid advice please.
I contacted an agent to help me process a Canada study visa for my self. To cut the long story short, The visa has been approved and the agent has been fully paid, i have my passport with me already but she has refused to drop all log in to both the visa portal and to the email for receiving messages from IRCC. She has even refused giving us letter of introduction which is an important document for traveling. I don't have the LOI I remember asking her about it earlier on but she declined to provide it to me, I have gone to VFS twice but they said they can’t help. although they verified the authenticity of the visa because i gave them my passport to verify, they asked me to go and sort things out with my agent, i am due to travel for my program by January, but as it stands i am helpless, this is already freaking me out guys! she has refused to pick my calls, she is nowhere to be found, all efforts to reach her has proved abortive and even sent a message, claiming to have traveled out of the country,
please what can be done? Help me out here

confirm if the visa approval is real, that was how an agent sent my friend fake visa approval just to collect payment! It’s long story. if not, You should keep trying her, it might not be her fault she’s Mia, or find a way to get your password.

Pls and pls help a sister in need, I can't explain how I have been feeling since I received this refusal, the agent that packaged the application did not do a good work at all, she did not not request for asset documents,wrong calculation of the required amount in account etc. I got to know about the error when I joined this platform, my application had passed the review stage when I discovered.

i Was once in your shoe oh! The agent I use didn’t do a good job at all, I submitted just pof and sop, no proof of anything, he didn’t tell I had to submit anything other than pof and sop, I get to know when I join this thread when I read people’s timeline, it helped and give me more insights in what and what to submit, I reapplied, submitted the necessary documents and i am hoping for a better result this time.

It was quite hard to fight the feeling of doubts and uncertainties. Your "life" could even feel its in a halt.
Guys, if you feel these during your waiting time, keep on praying with your spouse and give thanks everyday.
If you are single, please speak and pray with someone whom your mind is in sync with. Be it siblings, parents, friends or even visit this thread.

Plus: My documents were not perfect as compared to some others on this thread. No two application is the same. Please do not be discouraged by the lots of documents you see on this thread. Submit what you can according to the visa application requirements, and don't "doctor" documents in any form. Not even receipts, invoices or whatever.

Try to meet the minimum requirements then God will help you.

I did one, the hustler guy put his number and another name their as the lawyer, I had to japa, cause I don’t want illegal signing and documents, I was like why is your number on this side as the lawyer and not the real lawyer, it’s all these computer guys doing affidavit of support, I just had to leave cause the document doesn’t seems legit to me. Be careful of these hustlers oh! And make sure what they do is legit, Cause not everyone would be lucky oh, that was why I had to go through a real lawyer to do the gift of deed lands for me.

The truth is if you go through a lawyer for these documents they will charge you for not just the documents you need but for their services as well.
Courts in lag have Hustlers hanging around daily and will notarize your documents, get you a stamped affidavits within minutes at these N500 and N1000 costs.

It's now up to you to decide if you want a lawyer to do these things or you want them. That's the difference.

I did gift deed with just 2500naira. Those lawyers wanna eat your money. There is nothing special in gift deed. Get a lawyer in court to draft for you and go to the court to put stamp.

Did my sponsorship 1500 too, but it’s the deed of gifts I did 40k you can’t do the deed just anyhow place I guess, and it always expensive, that was what I was told

The afividavit of support is not hard to get, and deed of gift, find a lawyer To help you with it, I did mine for 40k

Praise God a friend’s friend just got his visa approved and he use his sponsorship Microfinance bank���� I pray mine is soon by God grace, As long as your microfinance bank account is legit, guess we’ve got a chance

However, this is position by the VO is not fair nor right, they would have gone ahead to confirm the authenticity of the funds, you cannot on one hand claim that MFB fund businesses and on the other hand claim they do not fund studies. This is not a loan, this is SAVINGS by the customer, fund that is/will be readily available to the customer whenever it is needed.

This is a perfect case for JR.

Hi Ani,

1. The agent made an error to ask you to pay 4k when the amount the school requires was stated.
2. Are you aware of the other documents submitted by the agent ie can you attest to the authenticity?

Suggested solutions
1.Quickly reach out to your school to seek clarification on the partial payment, to find out if there is any negative implication.
2. Find out if any balance can be paid immediately.
3. Draft a good LOE that will explain the reason for the partial payment and the stance of the school to accepting it.

NB- It is possible IRCC has confirmed from the school on this issue before sending you PFL so try and reach the school to get their input before drafting the LOE.

Yes oh! Especially if you’re not a minor, they denied a friend of mine because he didn’t submit his own personal bank statement after he submitted his dad own as sponsorship, as long as you have a business, and you’re grownup, they expect you to have some money in your account to show you can take care of yourself if need rises
