This is wickedness, not only did you owe for eight months you locked his house for over a year. You deserve to have your things thrown out into the streets! Sharrap! Most Nigerian fathers are deadbeat and irresponsible, deal with it or go and dive into the lagoon. From way back a lot of women have been handling household expenses and letting their husbands take credit for their efforts. Husbands of nowadays are even more useless because they feel the women need the marriage more than them, they're now leaving their wives take most if the financial responsibility. The children are seeing this and are now speaking out and you think you can bully them into silence, your head must be paining you and you're a bigger dunce to think you know a person's father more than him.

It's better to be raised in a peaceful one parent home than a toxic two parent home. A lot of married women are more bitter than single mothers but they keep consoling themselves that they're married and better off. Marriage is good but if it's a threat to your life, sanity and well-being, it should be backed away from.

So many frustrated poverty ridden envious people in this country. All they do is pour out their bitterness on people they see that are doing well for themselves. If you don't have any reasonable suggestion, why not keep scrolling? How does it concern you on what a person chooses to spend his money?

Most schools resumed on 13th or September and anybody that knows how these schools operate should know they only pay for the days you worked. Except you came to work while school was on break, expecting to get your full pay when you only worked for half of the month is quite far fetched. Your HOD has always had a grouse against the school owners and wanted to use the staff to tackle them. It's a good thing he was let go. Even if you're displeasured with the half pay, there are ways you could have aired your grievance without returning the money

I noticed same with miracle. He used his pilot training school as an excuse not to be in the reunion. I will give him credit for that but that boy is equally arrogant.

At least Miracle sent in a video during reunion, that counts for something. Efe bluntly refused to attend the reunion because he was on tour or some silly excuse like that. Those of us that saw his arrogance were labelled haters by the gullible fans he swindled with his poverty stories. The engagements on his Instagram page is pathetic, it will take the grace of God and a very strong PR team to bring him back to his glory days

If I was the OP, I would simply move on with my life if the family is adamant of me taking care of their whole siblings. I will marry her only if we have an agreement that I am only responsible for their daughter and not their whole family. If this decision cannot be met, then we cancel the whole wedding. Isha Allah.

Full stop! If possible make it a written agreement. Most families are looking for whom to dump all their responsibilities on. After suffering to uplift them now, they will start saying rubbish like "what did you even do for me that nobody has done before". The worst sets of ingrates are those poverty ridden people.

You and your parents were not aware of their financial situation all though the time you were dating? Did they not accompany you to pay her bride price? The deed has been done, you have already married her and you have no choice but to manage the situation. You know her people are low income people, they will always look up to you for financial support. You need to know where to draw the line so they won't milk you dry and run you in debt.

PS. Who made it a rule that it's the duty of the first born to train his/younger siblings? African parents needs to do away with this mentality of birthing children to carry financial responsibilities in future. It's totally unfair

Oga, let me tell you the bitter truth, Its a long read and full of typos.
The marriage will not last if you continue exchanging words with her, but from my own standpoint, let me give you candid advice.
1. Don't you ever think of resigning!!! Never it cross your mind
2. Get a second phone or better still change the contact of the number of the lady you love, but make sure you tell her that you are married oh, so don't start sending useless love messages back and front.
I got married too to someone I was pressured to get married to, but believe you me, she can never think of touching my phone or suspectign her, I give her all the money or attention she needs, in fact, my salary immediately I am paid, I send it to her including the last kobo, na she dey pay tithe(I still have a relationship with God), but she is in control of it, even when I lack money, I try never to ask her.
3. Get a smallie, probably one of those little decent girls from a well-to-do home as a side chick, go through my profile, you will see one of my posts and learn how to get such a girl. When you do, make it clear from the onset that you are married but you don't love the lady. Right now sef we have broken up because Our Accounts Officer and I have found a way to make ourselves happy irrespective of our marriages.
4. Don't you ever lay your hands on your wife, biko, just avoid her, I even look for ways to make my wife go on trips, in her mind this man loves me, whereas it's just to make me have peace of mind either with the smallie or our Accounts Officer who is also wishing same thing for her husband. The funny thing is that both my smallie and our Accounts Officer visits our home(But I never ever take them to our room to do the thing).
