If they work for a private school, then the school should be investigated as well. Most of these private schools engage in examination malpractices. Most WAEC supervisors prefer to be posted there because of the juicy envelopes they recieve to allow students cheat. Private schools play a big role in the rot we have in our educational sector today.

Nigerians need to stop disgracing themselves and their country everywhere they go. They use bad government as an excuse to commit crime in their country then run to other countries with better governance and still go on to commit crimes. Goes to show that the people have a greater share of the blame than government on why the country is bad. This get-rich-quick mentality of a lot our people will lead to their undoing, sadly innocent people will also get affected.

Exactly! Sniper was originally meant to be used in farms. The company just released an aerosol insectide. They should have done that ages ago when their products started being infamous as a means of suicide. I hope people don't get ideas about using the aerosols for similar purposes. As for reducing the amount of suicides, the ban would help greatly, people intend to commit suicides usually want a quick and relatively painless death. Other methods like hanging, cutting, drowning are too painful and onset of death is not immediate. At least it's going to much harder to buy death being sold dirt-cheap in a bottle.

Making the sniper in form of aerosol is a fantastic idea. It won't be convenient for suicidal people to keep spraying the substance into their mouths. They'd give up before they even started.

They're so many poisonous substances that people can use to commit suicide. I read of an undergraduate who committed suicide by drinking bleach. Should bleach be banned too? Banning of a poisonous substance will only make people look for other options. I understand there's a national suicide helpline suicidal people can call to and get counselling, that's a step in the right direction.

Suicide aside, sniper is being abused by a lot of Nigerians and could lead to damaging consequences to their health in future. Sniper is a pesticide meant for outdoor use in dilute quantities. But a lot of Nigerians are using it as an insecticide and spraying it indoors in concentrated quantities. It's only a matter of time before it accumulates in the system and cause respiratory and circulatory disorders or even cancer.

That said, banning sniper will do little to solve the alarmingly increasing rate of suicide amongst the people.

You listen to yourself. Have you seen a fake and an original item side by side? They're physically identical, it's the chemical composition that differs. Even pharmacists that produce these drugs may not be able to differentiate the fake from the original unless they analyze their chemical components. The only way I can blame a doctor for administering substandard drugs is if he knowingly goes to purchase the drugs from a questionable source.

Fake/substandard drug is the culprit here not competence of the doctor(s). I hope a solution is found for the affected patients

I didn't know they've started having different POP for different streams. During my time, it was same date for POP of both streams.
