Sometimes I wonder how these shop owners break even talkless of making profits. As if the shop rents are not expensive enough, state will want to tax you, local government will want to levy you, even area boys will come for their share. As if those are not bad enough, customers will be haggling your goods at ridiculous prices (some will even pilfer right beneath your nose), your sales boy/girl will be looking for ways to steal from you without getting caught. Shop owners are trying biko, it takes a lot of discipline and shrewdness to maintain a shop in Lagos.

All you said is rubbish because the Atiku University you mentioned is not 100% owned by him, that university is in partnership with the Americans that is why it is widely known as an AMERICAN UNIVERSITY that is why they have both churches and mosques there.

Did you or did not say a northern Muslim can never allow Christians to come to his university? If Atiku was as bigoted as most of you, would he even have built a university to accommodate other faithuls regardless it's affiliation? If he didn't want Christians, he wouldn't have partnered with American University and guess what, people will still enrol.

Change of institution between private universities? Is that even possible? At least you knew what you were getting into when you applied to the Anglican university, we can't say same for the students in this case.

Don't mind him. If I open a university with a neutral name not linking it to any mosque or Muslim organization. Then I go ahead tocollect huge fees from students only to force them to go for jumat and other Muslim programs. They will raise fire and brimstone and start shouting Islamization. But since it's a Christian doing it, it's perfectly ok by them. What is wrong is wrong. Let's stop excusing bad behaviour because it's coming from our tribe or religion.

The school is not a church owned university, so why compel the students to practice another religion other than theirs?

I've read a similar story here were an agent collected rent from over 20 people and he gave them the same excuse this one is giving you; wait for a few days for the house to get complete before they can collect key. By the time the victims realized that they have been duped, the fraudulent agent had already absconded with money running into over ten million naira.

@BecaciaBarbie. It is not too early to involve the police in this now that the agent is still reachable and accessible. That 8 days he gave you is most likely to buy time to escape and cover his tracks. Get the police involved before it is too late. I totally hope this lawyer/agent proves me wrong and give you your key at the stipulated date.
