You're probably not Yoruba so you won't understand. "Do I look like I have tribal marks" is commonly used when implying that you're not stupid, local or old-fashioned. A lot of new generation Yorubas don't have tribal mark, so they won't see anything wrong with the statement. But in all fairness, it's an insult to people with tribal marks.

The real shocker here is that some people actually still watched silverbird tv. I was watching one of their news shows one morning and I couldn't even watch more than 5 minutes before switching channels. Terrible picture quality, gloomy presenters. It was weeks later that I saw that OAP's rant about how poorly paid those presenters are and specifically mentioned STV as one of channels that doesn't pay staff well. That channel is now a far cry from what it used to be in the mid 2000s when it first launched.

Why on earth would he continuously sell on credit because his clients are celebs? He ought to know that Nigerians are terrible debtors always looking for whom to take advantage of, celebs included. You need to be extremely shrewd and rigid when doing business with Nigerians else they'll send you back to your village.
