Are you thinking at all, would EFCC charge someone to court without any fact or evidence? Do you think a judge would hear the case without facts or evidence. Most of the cases EFCC lost are based on technicalities.
Please what evidence did they present other than their bank transactions? Did they get any of the staffs of both companies to deny the transaction? Did they arrest him because he transferred the money to his personal account? Did they investigate and not see an invoice? Not once did EFCC say any of that. The only thing they are presenting is a bank statement of a limited company. In Warri that is not a corporate hub, they can find at least 10 companies that have that amount of transaction in a Month. So you expect the son in-law of Atiku to do business in thousands? Eh you would have told us Idimi's son that married Buhari's daughter should also do business in thousands. You tell me what evidence they provided.

Hmm, yes they do, a lot. The thing with the law is that your facts must be beyond reasonable doubt. And since I have known EFCC, the only evidence they bring is bank statement. Concrete proof involves members of the company testifying against the owner with records to back his testimony is concrete proof. Any case with airtight evidence cannot be lost on a technicality.

Seeing this post, i am at lost how to reply you. I asked you to read section 19 only, but obviously you didnt.

All the other guys arguing on this matter will not even think to follow this line of thought you are going.

There is one word that should Stand out to you? PROVED. It has to be proved. To bring this proof requires you to investigate the company's books, which EFCC has not done. The three months bank statement is not enough proof, the owner can argue it is for future service. Kai, Lawyer go use you clear ground if you go court case o.

You must be kidding.

When government suspects you committed a crime, they dont need hard facts to invite you to write a statement on the suspicion. You have a chance to come clean or fabricate stories, however, the statement can be used against you in court.
And that is why the government is not winning cases. I can decide to keep quite and there is nothing they can do about it. The court sentence on investigated evidence that is beyond reasonable doubt, not based on suspension.

All the energy you have used here should have first been channeled to reading the money laundering act first before you post here and there.

Do you mean money laundering act does not apply to corporations?

Read section 19
A person is not responsible for a limited company. If it is a person that the money is transferred to, the person himself can be arrested immediately. But if it is a limited company, the books of the company has to be checked first, and the laundering linked to the owner before he is arrested. If direct arrest was possible, why do you think USA has not arrested all the drug lords in their country.
Know the difference. The investigation to indict the owner of a company is much more harder than one needed to indict a person.
As far as it is a limited, the acts of the company cannot be placed on the owner without proof. The company itself can be closed down to force an investigation of it's books, but no owner of a company can be arrested without thorough investigation done on the records (both sales, services rendered, LPOs, invoices) of the company.
For EFCC to arrest the owner, they have to prove that the money was not for services rendered, after which they have to prove that the transfer was instigated by the owner. It could have been done by the manager, secretary or accountant. EFCC has not gotten proof that the money was not for services rendered, not to talk of proof that it is the owner that instigated it. Without any of the proof, they can and should do nothing.
To get those proof though is not a two months investigation. It sometimes take years. Why did they not show the company account since its inception so we can compare what they have been having with what they had in the three months. Or are they telling us the company was established in January 2019?

Actually, they don't, the owner of a limited company is not liable to answer any questions on behalf of the company. What EFCC should have done is query their books for contracts for that payment and discovering a direct link from the his company to him before arresting him. They did not do that.

Are you aware that EFCC has the responsibility of tracking and ascertaining exactly the business linking persons involved and purpose for such transfers?

Before i will send you $1million into your account, you have to have a legal service you will render to me.

Intels is said to be the source of part of the money, the question is what did Intels pay for that the sum keeps jumping from one account to another?
Persons, not corporations. Did you see one personal account there? Even if Intel is the source of the money, is there a law that says you are not to do business with your family?
EFCC has not investigated the any of the companies to see if any legal service was given. They just arrested the owner of the company without any proof and expect a confession from him. He go hard them o
It is EFCC's job to investigate that the payment was not for a service rendered, and believe me, it is after they have had concrete evidence that no service was rendered that they would have come to arrest him. Not arrest him and ask him to be the one to tell you where the money came from.

The crime here is trying to hide the purpose of the money! The money went through many accounts from Intels before getting to the BDC. In fact the owner of the BDC received the money in an account that is not owned by the BDC. Under no way laundry law, it is a crime to hide the owner or beneficiary of the money.

And how did they try to hide the purpose of the money. No corporate company has one corporate account. So because Dangote is using 5 banks to do transactions he is trying to hide the purpose of his money.
Did EFCC query CBN to tell them the type and purpose of the account and they refused? Did EFCC go to his company to check their records and they refused?
What action did EFCC take that they refused to answer that made them determine they were hiding the purpose of the money?

To personal account yes, but to corporate account hell no. You can transfer any amount of dollars to any corporate account provided you pay tax on it or they have a legitimate proof that it is from an illegal origin.

Now the transfer is between two corporate bodies, you have not carried out investigation to ascertain the source of the money or if the money was paid for a job done. I repeat, there are legitimate companies in Warri that do these amount of transactions in a month, not to talk of the son in-law of Atiku.

If they had told us that they did not pay tax on the money, or no contract was carried out on that payment they would have been legal.

But here they are, showing us only accounts of his corporate companies and telling us to accept it is money laundry. Well, I guess most of you do not do business.

You want EFCC to hide your crime? Remember, God knows all your secrets, and all your account details. It shall be expose to us on the Day of judgment.

Please what specifically is his crime here. No money was transferred to his personal account. All was transferred from one company to the other. He did not try to hide the money nor did he open the account recently.

As said above, any transaction above 10million is automatically logged in to CBN.
Did they try to go through the invoice of his company to see if it was for a job, did they wait till tax time to see if he would not pay the tax on it.

In Warri alone, there are at least 10 companies that carry out these kind of transactions on monthly basis. So where is the proof the money came from illegal source? none was stated. All that was said is that money was transferred from one company to another, and changed at bureau the change.

So tell me, what crime did he specifically commit?

One thing for sure though is that this disdain towards the Northerners will soon wane. It is against human nature to be repeatedly callous towards an entire class of people. However, it is still fresh, how they colluded to retain this disaster of a leadership with their ill-advised voting. A riot instigated by their ilks in my locality a few days back is a pointer to the role they played.
They really need mental and psychological emancipation. They can't keep being stup¡d and expect others to keep helping them scale the rewards. I have already decided that for the time being, the purewater sellers get my goodwill from now on. It looks a better investment.
Brother am afraid, very afraid it might not be so. There is a shift in the atmosphere. A shift that makes such disdain permanent. It has never been this entrenched and continuously reenforced. At this moment, the hearts of many are getting colder. I am talking of what I see. It was not even this bad when they killed Southerners in the north. But this, this disdain will not just die. They have to be a deliberate effort both from the government and the people to end it.

3) IS THERE ANY RECORD OF ANY SUBSTANTIAL ACHIEVEMENT OF Atiku AS VICE-PRESIDENT THAT WE CAN BE PROUD OF ?

Atiku PLS LEAVE NIGERIA ALONE AND GO BACK TO CAMEROON

1)TO SELLOFF OUR MAJOR ECONOMIC RESOURCES
2)PUT NAIRA ON FREE FLOW
3)GRANT AMNESTY TO CRIMINALS
4)ENSLAVE NIGERIANS TO HIS AMERICAN BOSSES
5)ENRICH HIS FRIENDS WITH NIGERIA TREASURY

OPERATION SAY NO TO PDP & CHIEF THIEF Atiku

This is what we enjoyed under PDF in 16 years

Lagos to Ore road was smooth and under 6 hours. The first time I went to Lagos from Warri in Abacha's time was almost 10 hours.

Power supply in our area was at leat 18 hours a day (now it is less than 12 hours)

Men my nephews and nieces were born without a dime.

They constructed bridges in my state.

I did not have to do home lesson till 6 to write common entrance (my teachers where that good and my school fees was less than #5000 then)

Corruption and stealing is still going on (Gaduje is an example and APC offered us #5000 for our voters card in my area last week)

Security is the worst now. They kidnapped a full bus load of people two days back. Did you not see it on nairaland?

Now let me tell you more we enjoyed specifically from when Atiku was Vice.

Ability of my sisters to train themselves through universities by selling recharge cards and not their bodies to men. Ability to pay for the first skill I learnt with that same recharge card sales. A business started with less than #10,000 then.

What about honor, then being a yahoo boy was a thing of shame, now boys wear the name with pride.
What about youwin, yagep and surep my friends won to start their business they thrived in.

Not this #30,000 nonsense that is not responsible for building the economy.

Do you want to talk about the low cost university school fees for federal and state schools. Now their school fees is exorbitant.

Or the low cost of food stuffs, where one could survive on #5,000 a month. Now #15,000 for feeding is management.

When my mom was not afraid feeding my brother's friends repeatedly for free. Now in this Buhari regime, my mom once shouted on me like I stole for drinking garri without permission.

What about the improvement in our telecommunications and banking industries. The introduction of internet (all under his tenure).

From your speech I can deduce you are not an entrepreneur or ever owned a business. If you are, You will understand that any sector that allows for privatization without monopoly will actually bring in more inflow of investment and create more jobs. When last did NNPC receive any form of investment or declare profit?

A vote for APC is a vote for continuity of our railway project.

It's a vote for judicious use of our little resources which has been drastically reduced due to global fall in the price of crude oil to international communities.

It could be likened to a market woman who sells 20 corns at a rate of 110 naira per each daily, only for the market leaders to reduce and control the price at 50 naira. The market woman is still expected to sell same 20 corns and nothing higher than this. Tell me if the woman's income would increase or decrease? However, if the woman had saved enough when the corn was still priced at 110 naira, she wouldn't be affected by the fall in sales price, pending the time sale price would increase.

That's the situation of Nigeria today. When crude oil which is our main source of foreign revenue was selling at $110 per barrel for more than 5 years under Jonathan, Jonathan didn't save but looted us dry instead. We're suffering from this effect today now that crude oil has been selling at a poverty rate of $50 per barrel for the past 4 years under Buhari yet Buhari administration has had so many projects undertaken by him despite earning 60% less.

If only people knew what other oil countries such as Angola and Venezuela are passing through during this global crude oil price recess, they would thank God Buhari came in rather than Jonathan who looted us dry despite oil boom when crude oil was selling at $110 per barrel for five years unlike the paltry $50 it has been selling under APC. If the looting Jonathan couldn't save during the time of plenty and was already borrowing, how would he have carried on during this crude oil price recess?

Despite Buhari administration earning 60% less yet he's come up with plenty projects such as

Our railways at itakpewarri, Lagos-ibadan, Lagos-Abeokuta, kaduna-abuja etc,

The production of low cost fertilizers,

Zik maoseleum

Baro inland port,

Kaduna inland dry port,

Port Harcourt airline terminal,

Abuja airline terminal,

Rice mills,

Foreign reserve increase from $26b to $43b,

Construction of our express highways such as enuguonitsha, Lagos-ibadan etc.

Social policy schemes such as tradermoni, npower etc

Payment of all pensions of airline staffs that were forced to retire after the shambolic privatisation by Atiku. PDP didn't pay them in the last 16 years.

And most especially, stabilizing us through this recession which happened because jonathan failed to save despite earning 60% more than Buhari coupled with the fall in the price of crude oil from $110 per barrel in 5 years under Jonathan to a paltry $50 per barrel under Buhari administration yet Buhari was able to keep us afloat while having many projects to his name thereby surprising Ngozi Iweala and Charles Soludo who predicted recession because jonathan looted and failed to save during the time of plentiful.

Sai Baba. PDP, Neva again

Are you really that stupid to bring politics into this kind of post? For once be sensible.

Once again I would explain the difference in foreign reserve knowing you are blind. Have you seen our debt? He is increasing the foreign reserve in an act of make belief while tripling our borrowing. So in your mind, it is okay to borrow 33 billion dollars AF far as we increase our reserve by 22 billion.

Our foreign reserve also soared from 26b dollars to 43b dollars under Buhari despite earning 60% less than Jonathan.

And Yes, Buhari has been earning 60% less than Jonathan. Only hateful blind eediots think otherwise.

Btw, what happened to those beneficiary of tradermoni who have already returned their soft loans? Are you definitely saying petty trades such as recharge cards, fruit vegetables sellers can't start with 10000? What kind of nonsense is this?

I think what we should be asking is why our foreign reserve sank from 48b dollars to 26b dollars under Jonathan despite the oil boom during his regime. Until you have answered this, shut up.

The problem with APC is that you make claims that cannot be substantiated. There is no record of the Bari port being functional, you guys just claim it has been completed. How is a completed port not functional?

He repaired the airline terminals, he did not build new ones. Same kind of repairs happened in Jonathan's time and he did not make noise about it.

As for roads, look at some of the roads done by Jonathan without him making it a national anthem.

1. Loko Oweto link RD.(between nassarawa and Benue state.

2. Musa Yaradua (Abuja airport RD) 10 lanes .

3. Kubwa RD(Murtala Mohammed RD) 10 lanes fct.

4. Good luck Jonathan rd. 10 lanes. Fct

5. East-West RD 346km.

In fact here is a more detailed list.

https://www.nairaland.com/2118106/62-roads-constructed-president-goodlucks

You guys are just shouting Lagos Ibadan road that is less than 100km. Or how far is Lagos to Ibadan. Is it up to 2hrs by road?

Here is also a list of capital project carried out by Jonathan. It is too long to be listed so go to the link to check it out.

http://www.freedomafric.com/politics/breakdown-capital-projects-executed-goodluck-jonathan-federal-government-across-states-t1786.html

And I now see you can't comprehend simple English. I am not saying there are no petty traders, I am saying those where not who where given. They gave market shop owners that already had good worth hundred of thousands in their shops.

But seeing that you have been zombified, I doubt you actually went out to any market to confirm if they actually gave those that needed it.

As for the increased reserve, the answer is short. He is borrowing to solve our problems rather than using our own funds in a bid to make belief. Or are you blind to our debt as well?

Liar. Crude oil sale was flunctuating between $100 - $110 throughout the regime of Jonathan except in early 2015 when it was falling at $90 and even then Jonathan had started borrowing because he didn't save but looted our treasury dry during the time of plenty.

Under Buhari, crude oil has been selling at a poverty rate of $40 - $50 until late 2018 when it rose to $70. You can check OPEC sale records.

As for tradermoni schemes, 10000 naira is enough to start a petty trade such as MTN/Airtel recharge cards, fruit, vegetables sale. Also note that the more they refund their previous soft loan, the more they get the chance to have access to larger loans. Tradermoni is one of the best idea conceived, when you consider the fact that this scheme is funded by abacha loot which the Swiss bank asked the world Bank to supervise.

So also is Npower scheme. We know there is no way government can employ large number of employees because there's is little revenue hence the scheme which not only help to sustain them, even if it's for a little but also helps to train them. Stop the lies that are more teachers because it's a lie. Ondo state hasn't employed teaching staffs for more than 10 years now. In fact, parents are complaining of the lack of core teachers in the school to teach major subjects. Npower workers can easily be assimilated into government work after their program.

I'm glad you omitted infrastructures construction from your rants. Never has any administration has so much infrastructures done like the APC have been doing so far despite earning 60% less revenue than Jonathan.

There is no petty trader in any market in Nigeria, how would you know, you have never tried doing any business in Nigeria. The lowest shop rent for any market in Nigeria is at least 10k a month. Go to any market around you and ask. Petty traders are not found in markets but at street corners or hawking their goods. But guess what, those where not the types of traders he gave, he gave traders that had shops already . Petty traders that need #10,000 do not have time for politics.
Then comes Npower, do you actually know any beneficiary of Npower? I know about 8. Out of the 8, 2 do not go at all yet receive the money. 4 go once in a week, 1 goes by 11am each day and the last one goes because she is working to be transferred into a full time government worker. As for the training, no training is being done at all.

And it is not the place of the government to sustain people, but provide a thriving economy so companies can employ massively. But your Buffon did the exact opposite and created policies that made companies close down and sack the little numbers they where employing.

As for infrastructures, please apart from the rail, what other infrastructure has buhari done? Is it rice mills and tomato plants that have closed down. The way you guys shout infrastructure would seem Buhari built 10 schools, 50 hospitals, 10 airports and 50 hospitals. Oh, it was in Jonathan's era those where built by states and federal government. No state has built any school since Buharis regime, no airport, certainly no stadium. Oh what is the definition of infrastructure in your village? Are those not included.

Once again, please google, the oil price was not at 110 dollars for a long stretch of time.

And when he did try to save from that, guess who went to court to sue him, the Ameachi that has been canonized by Buhari, the purported incorrupt man. Or are you going to deny that Amechi did not lead the southern Governors to sue him?

Good.

Sai Baba. Next level is the key. We ain't gonna go back to PDP Egypt of looting and abandoned projects.

Despite Buhari administration earning 60% less yet he's come up with plenty projects such as

Our railways at itakpewarri, Lagos-ibadan, kaduna-abuja etc,

The production of low cost fertilizers,

Zik maoseleum

Baro inland port,

Rice mills,

Foreign reserve increase from #26b to #43b,

Construction of our express highways such as enuguonitsha, Lagos-ibadan etc.

Social policy schemes such as tradermoni, npower etc

And most especially, stabilizing us through this recession which happened because jonathan failed to save despite earning 60% more than Buhari coupled with the fall in the price of crude oil from #110 per barrel in 5 years under Jonathan to a paltry #50 per barrel under Buhari administration yet Buhari was able to keep us afloat while having many projects to his name thereby surprising Ngozi Iweala and Charles Soludo who predicted recession because jonathan failed to save during the time of plentiful.

Sai Baba. PDP, Neva again
Hmm, in what planet did he earn 60% less. You guys talk as if the oil was at 110 dollars per barrel throughout Jonathan's regime when it did not stay at that price for even up to two months. You guys also seem to forget there was also an increased revenue from the #50 stamp duty, the fact that Jamb collects #3000 extra for original result, letter of admission and one other one. Is that not an increase in revenue? What about the increase in tariff of customs and immigration? The increase in school fees for all federal universities and finally his fabled fight against corruption. Are all those extra source of revenue that PDP didn't have not counted when you guys talk? You do know the oil crossed 75 dollars per barrel in Buharis regime too right? That is more than half of the 110 you guys keep shouting in our ears. Give us at least half of the results of Jonathan's time.

Hello, they might have predicted recession in Jonathan's time, but the fact remains that that recession did not happen in Jonathan's time but in Buharis time and the effect was made ten times worse due to his incompetent policies that created a lot of investor withdrawal from the country.

As for the roads, no government can do all the road in the country in either 4 or 8 years. In fact what are you saying. The only road you mentioned is Lagos Ibadan express way. You do remember Jonathan did Benin Lagos road and Warri Port Harcourt road.

As for the rail, I won't argue that. But I do know there was rail moving from Lagos through Ogun state in Jonathan's time.

Then tradermoni and Npower, two unimpactful projects that people do not need.
Half of the participants of Npower don't show up to work, and why would they. They are sent to school that currently has more teachers than they need, or farms that are non existent. If the government really needed their impact, they would have sent them to private school where they would have actually been needed and utilized and at the same time supporting and encouraging entrepreneurs in the country.

Then comes trader moni. No trader in a market, I repeat no trader in any market has a #10000 problem. They have shops with goods worth over #300,000 and you are giving them a loan of #10,000. What will that do. This goes to show that no proper research was done before these unimpactful skills were done. They would have seen the flaws.

Haaaaaaaaaaa..With all the FG allocation and debt, yet no Infrastructure or meaningful achievement to show for it in Delta state.
This is really bad...

Who told you that. One thing with infrastructures like roads is that it is done with a need. KANU is at least 3 times our population. If Okowa does this kind of road that is not a necessity in Delta state it would be useless for at least 10 years. But here, we have government partnered tank farms that is creating employment for youths. We have much more companies providing jobs than in KANU state and at the moment most of the roads that are bad are being fixed.

With all the FG allocation to Delta and other oil Rich state in Nigeria, where is the infrastructure?

Delta State infrastructure vs Kano State

https://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/headlines/268269-how-states-shared-n5931-billion-between-january-march.html

While I agree that Delta state is not as infrastructured as it ought to be, I will have to say this post is both biased and heavily untrue.

You showed us a night view of one place in Kanu. Why did you not show us the mud houses I know for a fact they have much more than we do?

This is a picture of two extremes. And I am very sure you have never been to Delta State.

Is it just me, or is Monday happening more than once a week now?
Can you please point to one news station that carried this news to back your claim of Bush barring anybody from Nigeria from entering US in 2004. CNN, Aljazeera, Fox News, please point to just one.

You guys would just be peddling lies like a general commodity.
