Nonsense!
Even with that restriction,we can still see the sort of vituperations you xtians visit the thread with.

But at least if we make incorrect assumption about you, you have the chance to correct it if it makes front page news. Give us that same courtesy of correcting your incorrect assumptions when they make front page.

Since you have been on Nairaland, have you ever gone to a post about Christianity that is not on front page. I can bet you have not.

You cannot make an incorrect statement about Christians on a front page topic yet expect only Muslims to comment on it.

If you want a topic only you guys can comment on, do not bring it to front page. Or are you guys that entitled?
Religion / Posts That Require Responses From Only One Religion Should Not Be On Front Page. by dominusgai(m): 11:19am On Feb 08, 2019
I saw a post on front page and wanted to comment on an erroneous statement, only for me to be told that I have to declare I am a Muslim before I can comment on the post.

Personally, I don't go into the Muslim forum to check them up. But the front page is for everyone and any post made on that page should allow comment from everybody seeing it irrespective of religion.

You guys keep preaching our oneness and unity yet you set different standards for different people, segregating them yourself.

I have never seen a Christian post on nairaland where a person has to swear he is a Christian before being allowed to comment.

Once again, if the post is just for the Muslim part of the forum, it is not a problem for me.

But if you are going to put it in the front page, stop being based and allow comment from everybody seeing it on the front page. If you can't do that then do not bring it to the front page.

It is obvious you are trying too hard unsuccessfully discussing Nigerian economy dynamics far above your intelligence . This is one of the long term effects of PDP's misrule: poor educational system that is producing nitwits that are ironically always available to lick PDP rotten aaaaas-! I just bursted all your lies above but you are obstinately doomed to auto ignorance.

Can you tell me why Okonjo Iweala , while being jittery of the consequences of that administration humbug, announced to the whole wide world in 2014 that we should prepare for Recession @ $67-70/ barrel from oil sales; and in 2015 that they were going to retrench workers if the global oil prices slips further down as they were borrowing money to pay workers ,and states were finding it difficult until Buhari who inherited a mono economy @ $30/barrel started bailing states out? Why?

I'm sure you don't know what a recession is. Then how would you, for the love of Christ, fathom how GEJ depleted foreign reserve can affect imports or the effects of the combustively toxic mix of unprecedented looting, excessive borrowing to be pilfered , unemployment rate of 24% , poverty rated at71% , insecurity, infrastructural decay, heavy stealing and henpecked leadership during an oil boom- symptomatic of the shagari's journey to austerity- on an economy?

Maybe, if GEJ under whose nose the dollar rose from $1 - N119 to N240 during an oil boom , had continued and you are pleading to buy a mudu of rice at N2000 amidst boko haram bombings and , hungry canabals waiting for you on the streets ,with PDP unbridled pilferings being flaunted at your poor face after being fed that NOI artificial statistical fraud called rebasing or biggest economy in Africa bullsh..t while all your family members are being laid off jobs ,then you would have understood and appreciated how Buhari had battled PDP's recession.

ICYMI: Buhari inherited a bad economy, made it worse – Soludo
Published

March 3, 2017
• ‘President working hard to fix economy’

Ihuoma Chiedozie and Olalekan Adetayo

A former Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, on Thursday said President Muhammadu Buhari had worsened the “very bad” economic situation he inherited when he assumed power in 2015.

Soludo spoke at the ‘Big Ideas Podium’, a public policy debate organised by the Afri Heritage Institution in Enugu, where he canvassed what he termed a “citizens united” campaign by Nigerians to demand change and accountability from government at all levels.

READ ALSO: This budget may not revive economy

Besides Soludo, other speakers at the inaugural edition of the Big Ideas Podium were a former Cross River State Governor, Donald Duke; a former Chief Economic Adviser to the President, Prof. Osita Ogbu; and a member of the Presidential Economic Advisory Board, Prof. Akpan Ekpo.

Speaking on the theme of the debate, ‘Prognosis of the Nigerian Economy 2017’, Soludo said Nigeria was fast approaching the status of a failed state.

The former apex bank chief noted that it would take nothing short of a miracle for the Federal Government to return the naira to its exchange rate to the dollar as of the time Buhari took over on May 29, 2015.

He said, “Buhari met a very bad situation when he assumed power, but he has made the situation worse. Nigeria today is a fragile state with a failing economy. Some say failing state; some say failed state.

“The economy is not just in recession; we are suffering from massive economic compression. Saying it is recession trivialises the issue.

“It will be a miracle if after eight years, by the time it leaves office in 2023, the current administration is able to return the economy in dollar terms to the exchange rate it met when it took over.

“The truth is this government inherited a very bad situation, but it has made it very much worse.”

He criticised what he described as the “official policy of waiting for the oil price to rise.”

According to the former CBN governor, the government cannot be relied upon to provide the change that Nigerians desire.

The solution to the quest for change, according to him, is a citizens’ united campaign that will put government on its toes.

He called on Nigerians to agitate for the implementation of campaign promises by government at all levels, noting that the country would make progress if political parties kept at least 25 per cent of the promises they made before coming to power.

Soludo said, “Only citizens united can rescue Nigeria, not just the government alone. It is a big luxury for anybody to say I am minding my business, because what others do will come to mind your own business for you sooner than later.

“We can’t get the leadership that we desire but we can get the leadership that we demand and work for. If only each party or government implements 25 per cent of their promises, Nigeria will be a great country.”

He added, “If you see the governments run by APC, PDP and APGA, they are all the same, because Nigerians don’t hold them accountable. We must resolve as citizens not to let government off again; peaceful agitation must be encouraged and tolerated in this country. Everybody must be allowed to have a voice.

“For example, the APC promised us that they were going to restructure Nigeria; before the elections, they said the current structure was not working, they said that Nigeria was becoming a failed state; but now, they are in power and they are not getting it done.

“Unless we citizens rise up and tell the government ‘deliver on what you promised’, they will not get it done.”

Soludo added that issues such as the continuing agitation for the Presidency along tribal and religious lines were distractions that arose from the fact that Nigeria was not working.

He said, “Nigeria is not working in anybody’s interest except that of the privileged few and because of this, there is an obsession with unnecessary distractions, like which part of the country produces the President. You can have the President, the Vice President and all the ministers from one village and the life of the ordinary people from that village will not move from point A to point B.

“The North has ruled the country for several years, but poverty, to a very large extent, is a northern problem.

“In the last dispensation, we had Jonathan as President, the Finance ministry and almost all the financial institutions of government were headed by Igbos then, but we still don’t have any motorable federal road in Igboland.”

Soludo noted that the government could not provide the type of change Nigerians desired.

He added, “Change is a struggle; change is never given by a benevolent elite; no change is given by the government, the people always had to ask for change. Nigeria has been waiting for a benevolent leader since 1960 but he has not come. You will get the type of leader that the people demand.

“The change we think we need will never be given to us; we have to demand it; we have to agitate for it, and it is the sustained agitation that will bring about the change. Citizens should get involved and stop complaining.”

While reacting to Soludo’s assertions, the Presidency said Buhari was working diligently to fix the bad economy he inherited from the last administration with positive results now emerging.

The Senior Special Assistant to the Acting President on Media and Publicity, Mr. Laolu Akande, said while Soludo was entitled to his own opinion, Nigerians were entitled to the facts.

According to him, while the opinion expressed by Soludo is understandable in a democratic system, the facts are that the challenges of today are direct results of wrong decisions of the past and mind-boggling actions of those who were entrusted with leadership.

Akande stated, “Nigerians have demonstrated that they know that the Buhari administration inherited a sorry state of the economy but is working diligently to fix it with positive results now emerging.

“What even the former CBN Governor, Soludo, cannot deny is the fact that the Buhari administration has ended the bleeding of the nation and is implementing reforms.

YOU MAY ALSO LIKE: How wrong policies threw economy into recession

“The Buhari administration is spending more on infrastructure at a time when resources are lean. When we had abundant revenues, what happened was profligate and plunder.

“What no one can deny is that the Buhari administration is now implementing on behalf of ordinary Nigerians a Social Investment Programme that is unprecedented in Nigeria’s history; paying poorest Nigerians N5,000 monthly; feeding school children and engaging hundreds of thousands of unemployed graduates. And there is more to come.

“The Buhari administration is plugging loopholes in several ways, including through the Treasury Single Account, raking in resources that otherwise were hidden and misappropriated, and the proper auditing of the federal payroll discovering about 30,000 ghost workers and saving billions per month.”

He added, “Another step in the right direction is the fact that Nigeria no longer has to shell out billions of dollars for the JVC cash call, bringing relief from a burden that has slowed down investment in the oil industry.

“It is certainly quite curious that very few among us will choose to ignore the new direction but make story of the burdens of the past without proper attributions. This appears to me to be selective amnesia to which they are certainly entitled.

“What would have been more patriotic is that people of goodwill will join several others working with us in this administration and offer progressive ideas and join hands with a government and administration that everyone knows is led by a President and Vice President who are trustworthy and are people of unabashed honesty and integrity.”

And seeing that you are not as wise as Homer Simpson, I will remind you once again. It was not under Jonathan that the module of rice went to #2000, it was under Buhari. Under Jonathan my family members and friends started successful businesses, but it was by the grace of God they did not close down under Buhari. And it was not under Jonathan my friends lost their jobs, it was under Buhari. Way before Jonathan, my mum was OK feeding over 10 friends of the family that were not related to us. But under Buhari she shouted at you sometimes before your friend if you bring one home to eat with you. On the dollar matter, it rose to over #500 to one dollar, before coming back down to #360. Fuel scarcity that turned fuel to #145 per liter nko, abi is it herdsmen killing. So how on earth can I understand and appreciate Buhari when the country suffered all you listed above.

you are not seeing which post? it is most uncharitable of PDP who put us in a recession to shamelessly wants to come back when Pmb has cleaned their mess. NPN did same thing by bringing IBB in 1985 who is presently surreptitiously leading modern day NPN apologists, PDP, to steal power again through Atiku. It will never happen again! Never!
APC, APC. I repeat, we were put into recession because of the unintelligent policies made by Buhari. He did not clean any mess, he created it. He adruptly banned the importation of needed raw materials that led to company distress that led to job loss. He froze all forex transaction, forgetting that most importers had foreign investors that invested foreign currency in them. While dollars was not going out, it was also not coming in.

Have you asked yourself why we where the only country having dollar shortage when all the countries around us had surplus supply of that same dollars? Ask any banker you know. Dollars was very available, it was only not being released due to his unintelligent policies.

He failed, the first time, and failed again. It was nobody's fault but his.

So bad was the odious smell of the impending Goodluck Jonathan's recession that Soludo had to shout out in 2015 before the elections:

........if the
prices of crude oil in the
international market failed to
rebound, Nigeria would face an
unprecedented level of economic
crisis with horrible attendant
hardships for the citizenry.
“Our public finance is
haemorrhaging to the point that
estimated over N30tn is missing,
or stolen, or unaccounted for, or
simply mismanaged,”... further
In the piece entitled, ‘Ngozi
Okonjo-Iweala and the missing
trillions’, Soludo said the sharp
decline in the naira-dollar
exchange rate from 158 a few
months ago to 215 currently
showed that trouble was already
at the doorstep.......

He added that “unless oil price
recovers, this is just the
beginning,” adding, “For the sake
of Nigeria, I won’t keep quiet
anymore!”
“Part of my frustration is that five
years after, everything I warned
about has come to happen and we
are conducting our campaigns as
if we are not in a crisis. As a
concerned Nigerian, I have a duty
to speak out again,” he said.
The former CBN governor x-raying, how N30tn
allegedly stolen under Okonjo-
Iweala’s watch, said, “Under you
as the Minister of Finance and
coordinator of the economy, the
basket of our national treasury is
leaking profusely from all sides.
Just a few illustrations! First, you
admit that ‘oil theft’ has reduced
oil output from the average 2.3 –
2.4 million barrels per day to 1.95
mpd (meaning that at least
350,000 to 450,000 barrels per
day are being ‘stolen’). On the
average of 400,000 per day and
the oil prices over the past four
years, it comes to about $60bn
‘stolen’ in just four years.
“In today’s exchange rate, that is
about N12.6tn. This is at a time of
cessation of crisis in the Niger
Delta and the amnesty
programme. Can you tell Nigerians
how much the amnesty
programme costs, and also the
annual cost for ‘protecting’ the
pipelines and security of oil wells?
And the ‘thieves’ are spirits?
“Secondly, ...... the minimum forex reserves
should have been at least $90bn
by now and you did not challenge
it. Rather, it is about $30bn,
meaning that gross
mismanagement has denied the
country some $60bn or another
N12.6tn. ......

At the twilight of GEJ's administration ,workers were already crying all over the country as their salary was no longer coming ....

Bro, morning
Did you happen to watch the interview? Atiku and even Peter Obi ran froM the questions they were asked to give answers in a way that even and intelligent man would operate in his folly to believe and be wowed by such answers. Peter Obi's was even worse.

Now, going by my initial stance and what you just wrote, let me point it out to you what's clear that you didn't see.

*Has God been proven to exist? NO! All we've are just claims, unsupported visions, perceptions etc. Same thing with Atiku.
In this case, Obasanjo has made his research and Atiku is guilty even though not charged in court, as according to you, you must be guilty before a courT of law. This is exactly why the God analogy came in. Has God been proven in the laboratory? NO! Yet people cast their beliefs on him. Tell me, how's that a problem that if God can't be proven then he doesn't exist which is parallel to the statement, "if Atiku's corruption allegations can't be proven, then they don't exist and thus, Atiku is not guilty."
But you see, you're being religious here. And I don't care because I expect any religious folk to always defend their God who doesn't give a fu...ck about them.

Ganduje has fell victim of the camera. He did what other politicians do but his was recorded with a camera, prolly unknown to hiM. Since there's evidence, he's guilty but has the court charged him? NO! If you think you're guilty only before the court then you need to have a rethink about the side you lay.

In another news...

They did not run away from any question, the interviewer was just being unprofessional. How come when they are giving a detailed answer to a question asked she cuts them off? And come on, if they have the ability to wow an intelligent man with their answers they are capable of navigating conflicting issues without causing havoc like your clueless president did.

Hmmm, that Obasanjo made the accusation meant a detailed investigation was done on Atiku by all the anti corruption agency available in Nigeria. That they could not see a single evidence to cause them to charge him to court meant there was none. That is the whole idea of evidence, to make sure people are not condemned based on feelings. More innocent people have been condemned without evidence but feelings that guilty people freed without evidence but feelings. That is why the court is not run on feelings but on evidence. If the evidence cannot be found despite heavy investigation both by Obasanjo and Buhari, then you are telling me he is either smarter than both of them or not guilty.

I wasn't religious, you were the one that brought God in the mix.

Then just one question on Gaduje, if it was a PDP governor that was court on camera receiving bribe, not once but over 4 times would they not have been charged to court?

Back to what I said before, they probed atiku and could not find a shred of evidence on him to charge him to court, yet you claim he is guilty. But the ones that they have evidence against, they are claiming they are innocent and refusing to charge them to court. What does that tell you of the government?

PDP that could no longer pay Salary and told us to go prepare for mass sack in 2014 @ $67/ barrel would have been fantastic at $30 ? You are wonderful!

With less volume of daily oil sales ,recession, a crashed price of crude internationally, insecurity aided by PDP, poor infrastructure, a comatose economy Buhari took over a messed country from a useless and clueless team.

Why couldn't PDP finish the rail project for more than 10 years? TSA ,BVN nko, what about electricity after stealing $16b? Because the useless party was busy stealing and eventually plunged the country into a recession. Maybe you don't even understand what a recession is sef and I'm here wasting my time with you. Do you know the effect of hiding $45m in a toilet in Ikoyi on the economy of a local government in a recession?

In a recession Kayode Fayemi made a 300% increase investment in the mining sector alone; are the investors from the moon?

Name PMB economic policies that in your phantom mind is giving driving away investors?
Sir, at no time in 2014 did PDP tell people to prepare for mass sack, please can you reference any link to that claim? You guys should have a little fear and reduce your lies.
It was in Buhari's time that companies had to mass sack. It is his cluelessness that led to it not pdps. Besides, which regime do you blame more, the one that warned of mass sacking or the one that actually led to the mass sacking. Or you want to tell me companies didn't mass sack when Buhari came in due to inability to assess raw materials needed for operation?
I repeat, the recession was brought about by Buharis cluelessness not PDPs fault. You just came, and you freezes forex, stopped importation of required raw materials needed for manufacturing, made unstable policies.

TSA and BVN that was introduced by Jonathan has been destroyed by your clueless PMB. The agencies no longer put money in the TSA, and the obvious increase in fraud means they are not using the bvn to track criminals. Then let us talk about the need to borrow. You started taking #50 for every business transaction as nipost fee, you claim Jamb, customs and every agency revenue increased 2 fold, yet we are not seeing the reflection and you want to borrow over 30% of our 2019 budget. It is only in APC that 1 + 1 will never reflect 2.

Hello, did they find out who has the money in the toilet? For all I know it was all an EFCC stunt to make believe they are working.

Hello, you just asked a question, are the investors from the moon? I can easily find out the name of investors that invested in the mining sector of Ghana, yet I cannot find out a single name of one foreign investor that brought about this 300% increase in investment in the mining sector. Maybe you think everyone are dunces like you guys that do not do a detailed inquiry on information they get and just take every info at face value.

Errrm
I just finished streaming the interview on YouTube and I'd say that ,on a general note, I wasn't impressed.
There are implications to the answers made by Peter Obi especially. He wouldn't answer the questions but would throw them back, and also points stuffs in a direction I'd break down with their logical implications below. And as a matter of fact, he cared less if he was wrong as long as it paid or he wasn't caught. Same thing for Atiku, especially on the latter.

*If you steal money to feed the society, it's ok since the end of the outcome is good.
Question: What about where the money was taken from?
*If you can't prove God exists, then he doesn't exist.
Why: Because according to the Atiku/Obi/PDP logic, if you can't prove Atiku guilty of any corruption allegation, as a matter of fact, he didn't commit any.
Atiku expressly claimed OBJ investigated him more than any other politician/person and yet found no evidence for his allegations.

Those above break downs were the overtones of the interview; it doesn't matter if it's legal, but as long as Obi invested $30mil to result $100mil, it's ok. Clearly, the ends justify the means here. And also, if you've no evidence, it never happened.

Comparing God to Atiku's innocence is one of the most abysmal things I have ever seen.
First of all, believe in God is not dependent on any thing real. But condemnation of guilt is.

In the court of Law, you are innocent until proven guilty. You seem to forget that Buhari still claims Avach did not steal despite Abacha's own family returning money.

In court, you do not condemn a person based on perception but based on evidence.

Yet Buhari seeing the video of Gaduje and the returned loot of Abacha still insists they are innocent but is determined to call Atiku a thief without even a piece of paper showing his name as a beneficiary of illicit funds.

So by your logic, we should find Atiku guilty because we don't have to see his evidence before hand but we should find Gaduje, Abacha and that grass cutter guy innocent despite all evidence seen against them.

What a logic, what a logic

I beg to differ sir, it is APC guys that have badluck in thinking logic. Apparently Gaduje that was caught on camera receiving bribe is not guilty but Atiku that has never been condemned by any court known to man or has any document of any illicit transfer in his name is a criminal. which investors? So if stock fluntuates means investor would disappear ? What you are saying makes no sense. Every day, investments and investors are expanding in Nigeria. The best economies in the world like the US owe to meet certain obligations so why the cry about borrowing? What economy, reserve or infrastructure did PDP leave for Buhari apart from recession? Or you want Buhari to do roads, electricity etc with workers' salary so that you can happily instigate the populace against him ? From $30/barrel receipts, didn't Buhari loan governors money owed workers during GEJ administration which is popularly known as ' bail out'? If these rogues from Wadata were the one ,wouldn't they have done mass sacking of workers all over the country citing Venezuelan and Greek debacle due to fall in oil price as GEJ had threatened us in 2014 ,urging the poor people to adopt austerity as they told us under Shagari while they continue to steal and flaunt our wealths to our faces? But under a relatively disciplined manager like pmb, we have been having a steady and sincere foundation structuring of the key components of the economy e.g infrastructural development which would bring in more and better investors. We can't allow PDP near this economy with its cursed fingers. Go and prepare for the Next Level.

Stock did not fluctuate, investors pulled out their money. There is a difference.

Buhari did not loan from the oil money but from returned Abacha loot. Bro, they would not have done mass sacking. How could Buhari sack on top the job loss his unintelligent policies caused?

Please investors are not invincible, they are tangible. List these investors that are investing in Nigeria every day.

USA borrows to fund infrastructure but your president borrows to fund expenditure. They left a lot of infrastructure and money. The CBN search disproved your lies that nothing was left in the treasury.

And PDP started all infrastructural work your president is continuing. Or you want to tell me it was APC that bought the trains they commissioned? But still on infrastructure, what part of the 2019 project was budgeted for infrastructural development again?

Buhari is not a manager, he is just a man doing nothing because he doesn't know what to do.

Shut up. In most African countries foods are 99%organic except the imported ones.
Hmm, this shows your stupidity is abysmal. The strain of the cabbage we use for salad has been modified for better yield. The strain of cassava we currently use have been modified. We now have human size palm tree that produces more oil and that most of the new plantations are using. Guess how they got that strain, through modifications. Plantains and bananas are all modified. Nigeria is currently using the agric strain of fruits for farming. And all agric version, I mean all agric version of seeds used for farming have been genetically modified for better yield and stronger disease resistance. And all Nigerian farmers will always use the agric strain so as to get more yield.

Make una read new things with una fone una no gree. Na only wetin una archaic lecturer teach una for school nai una read last.

Nonsense! without implementation how can you bring about result? The Technology of selling NNPC to fellow rogue ? Which Technology ,what model without a name or identity?

Every day investors are trooping into the country to do business despite Nigeria being in a recession brought by PDP during an oil boom! You know why? A better manager and a disciplined sheriff is in town.

FG bonds floated at the international market in 2017 outsold its expectations because more international businessmen are seeing a working hope of doing business here even in a recession than before. Are the banks keeping PDP's loots that left after being exposed of breaching best global practises that kill entrepreneurship that are your kinda investors or what? Such toxic investors can leave ,and we don't care!
What scares a serious investor are basically: a corrupt political system with a compromised Judiciary; lack of infrastructure like road, electricity, etc; excessive tarrif; insecurity ,terrorism/ insurgency and so forth which are what PDP bequeathed this nation and which plunged us into a needless recession in 2014 before we beckoned on PMB to come save us once again. Buhari is doing a great job of cleaning this stable or else how would we have known that in the midst of wicked poverty ,a privileged civil servant with several illegal bank accounts suffers from a billion naira amnesia; or that toilets. septic tanks and some flats in ikoyi are better places of keeping money than banks or rather than investing it in your education or using it to create opportunities that annihilate the immigration job scam prototypes of PDP e.g npower?

From Railway, road constructions, electricity, agriculture, oil and gas (refineries,), Buhari is opening up the Nigerian space for more fresh investment ventilation to flow in which socio-economic disease causing entities won't like a bit. Come FeBuhari 16, we shall beg Buhari to please continue, and such serious tasks to a goblin we can't entrust.
Hmm, and did you notice those same investors have withdrew that investment from the country? Or did you not read of the stock exchange drop in investment last week? Ogbeni keep quiet. No external investors are coming into Nigeria at the moment. If there was there would not be a need of the government to borrow such huge funds for our budget. How is it in APC 1 + 1 never adds up to 2

My brother we are discussing the viability of Atiku's proposal not the capability of the current government, you obviously thought i am a supporter of Buhari. Careful how you communicate your thoughts. What does the CJN have to do with this. Meanwhile, what the hell did the PDP do for 16 years, or what did Atiku do while he was vice. As far as i know, none of those guys is well equipped enough to lead this country(I am not referring to their vices).
In sixteen years they kept education affordable. Have you seen the current rate of school fees in federal and state institutions?

That title should read: What will happen WHEN I lose the election.

That said, the thief claims "if the election is adjudged free, fair and credible". Now, whose judgement on credibility is he referring to? Uche Secondus'or his wife's? undecided

Has there EVER been a time PDP lost an election and accepted it was free, fair and credible? Isn't an election credible to them ONLY IF they win?

PDP will lose and Atiku can go to hell while Nigeria moves to the next level of prosperity and anticorruption battle.

4+4=23.
So when Jonathan lost he did not accept defeat? It seems APC members have the memory span of a donkey

But against the law.

It means you are using state money to enrich yourself.

It's funny how you might think it's ok but when an unsubstantiated story of a relative of Buhari bought a distressed bank, many of you brought your daggers out.
It is not against the law sir, states have the autonomy to invest in anything that will bring profit to them. Did you not see the place where the state is now 70 million dollars richer because of that investment?

You did not obviously read my submission. if the resources and services i have to offer combined will yield enough profits to offset the tax difference, then investors will invest. Taxes are not the only factors that inform an investors willingness to invest.
And I am telling you that is not true, investors will invest first in where there is little taxes before they invest in where there is more taxes no matter how profitable the higher taxed business is.

Bro you are not listening at all, you do not just offer tax cuts because you think that will offer you an advantage. A good economic development policy will consider the nation's infrastructure inorder to decide if tax cuts are favourable and to what degree they should be applied. I would think that ivnestors consider the trade off between the the investment opportunity offered by an entity and the quality of the services the country offers. The taxes Ghana levies might be less than what nigeria does, but if we offer a better package(services and resources), which could infact enhance the the profit potential of our investor's investment, thereby offseting the tax difference, we would probably get the deal. Think.
Kai, your understanding of economic development is abysmal. If you like offer the world, if you don't offer favourable tax cuts no investor would consider you.

How on earth do you think China wooed all the companies to their shores, it wasn't with their corporate practices, they had little. It was their tax cuts. Investors would rather make 100million as hundred percent profit than make 200 million as 60% profit after tax. Ask any business owner you know.

I'm not interested in your ignorant lies and rubbish, please go away.
What lie did I lie. Oh I forget, a typical Afonja never travels. Since you were born I am not sure you have left your local government so you are not exposed. I showed you pictures of PDP achievement and you call me a liar. Boy, go and learn small wisdom from Homer Simpson. At least him at his level of stupidity is 10 times more brilliant than you are

The only thing you even showed is a railway project. You seem to forget that the dead railway corporation as a whole was resurrected by Jonathan.

You people don't know anything, you don't know anything about the government, all you do is cry and wail.

First, there's no government loan program, now you're saying you applied for a loan. So, who did you apply from if there's not a loan program?

Don't know if you are dumb, ignorant, confused and rettarded or just a combination of all the above
Your stupidity comes from your inability to comprehend simple sentences. I did not say I applied for a loan, but I applied for funding for various businesses. That is what my company does. Helping enterprises apply for all types of funding. Funding like Tony Elumelu, AYEEN, Big, Heroes, Etisalat Easy Business.
I scroll the internet for all funding opportunities to give my clients and I have never for once stumbled on a site of these organizations you called or met any organization/microfinance bank partnering with them. Since you where born I am not sure you have used half of the data I have used. Helping enterprise apply for funding is my business so how can I not have heard of these organizations before now when I scroll the internet everyday looking for these information.

Kai, I never thought I would see again a stupidity like Zee World, one that is extraordinary everyday
