Dear Deji, there's a reason Giringori filed his civil suit in an Anambra state High Court

I can tell you with full confidence that there's most likely a petition of criminal defamation already lodged against you by Giingori's proxies.

The minute you leave the court room in Anambra on your first appearance men identifying themselves as officers of the Anambra state police will whisk you away.

They will then approach same Anambra courts seeking your remand order in their custody or that of the Nigerian Prison Services.

This is the plan I foresee.

I will implore you to approach any Federal High Court in Abuja seeking the following:

1. A perpetual injunction baring Anambra State High court from issuing a summons to you to appear in court in Anambra. A similar injunction should be applied for against the Anambra State Police command from inviting or arresting you.

You should base your plea on the real threat to life and safety by members of Girongori's rabid mob who are headquartered in Anambra.

You should cite how same Giringori applied for and got a permanent injunction baring the Anambra SARS Panel from summoning him based on a petition signed by an individual sent to the Panel.

2. You should ask the court to rule that any legal suit emanating from Giringori must be filed in an Abuja High Court as both you and the petitioners are resident to the FCT. Your prayers should emphasize that you are ever ready to engage the petitioner but only in a Federal High Court which also has jurisdiction over the matter.

As a bonus tip , remind the court that the public image crafted by the petitioner is at variance with his actions especially regarding what the real motive for filing the suit in Anambra.

Elaborate on how the petitioner once intervened on behalf of a political affiliate and supporter when a criminal defamation charge was filed against him. Note that the petitioner used the opportunity to act the mediator to milk public support and attention.

That such a character who paraded himself as an indirect advocate for free speech in the Dele Forantimi defamation charge filed by a very senior member of the Nigerian Bar Association, to turn around and institute a civil suit that hides a sinister agenda against his (Deji) personal safety and freedom can not be trusted in only seeking civil damages

The Nigerian Power regulatory body is the only body by law that sets tarrif rates.

But what is truly disturbing in that thread is the assumption that Abia state and local government is paying minimum wage at #70,0000.

This is absolutely false.

Abia state still pays the ancient rate passed by GEJ in 2012 which is a paltry #18,000. This is despite the last Buhar adminstration increasing minimum wage in 2019 to #30,000 and Tinubu increasing it in 2023 to #70,000.

Abia state workers are the least paid and most maltreated .
