What are you talking about? Domain ownership is always that of the client.

@op just ask him to transfer the domain to you. It's as simple as that

did u hear wat he said ,the guy denied him access

ogbiwa:
hello,

heres the issue. Sometime ago i paid a programmer to build a blog for me. But i had issues with the guy and now i am paying another programmer to build a full site which i also want to host at that domain name that was used for the blog. Now i've asked the former guy for access to the server on which my blog is hosted so that we can build the new one on it and he has refused.
What i clearly need to know now is-
1. do i have the right of access to that server as the person that paid for the design and hosting of the blog
2. if i dont have the right per se, what are my alternatives because we must host using that domain name. can we buy the domain name afresh or can i ask the former guy to take down the blog so we can use it afresh.
Urgent advice needed pls

its avery tricky situation was there any signed , or verbal agreement to that effect, if there was , do you have any witnesses, to be honest even though it may hurt , you don't have right over the domain(except there was an aggrement) ,because he bought it in his name ,number two you can't buy the domain afresh , except he gives u the the details of the domain for you to transfer it to another host, here is my advice if you need that domain badly try to sort things out amicably, if the domain is worth a lot (probably millions) you could sue him(if he doesn't like things done amicably) , but if the domain is not that important and you can forgo , if that's the case just let it go ,loook for a good and available domain name and strart afresh

Simple and smart, but quite does not reflect the companies offerings, like the car, one would think the company sold cars. The other images too did not directly hit the eyes on company offerings until they read the list below.
Overall it looks smart but i think better images would reflect the companies services better.

yeah I know , I just wanted to create a quick demo for u to see my capabilities, I believe all the images are in line apart from the car . , there is a jersey, a uniform, small chops , but as I said it was just a demo for u to see my capabilities , in case u want to reach me here is my number 08182346055,kindly drop yours

Good day Bosses!

I don't know if i posted this on the right section or not, either way i ask for forgiveness cos this is my first time of being here, thanks.

Coming back to d issue, Some months ago precisely 8 months ago i bought an Ibm thinkpad r30 from auction guys thinking i have got a good lappy at a cheap price not knowing it's a crap, though it powers on but i can't get into it cos they setup Supervisor password (Bios) on it probably by d last user. Since then, i ve taken it to several engineers for unlocking but all to no avail........Lately, someone suggested i should check in here and see if i can get some help.

So i pray you guys to pls help me pls if you can so i don't loose the money i wasted on this stupid low end lappy i bought out of ignorance.

I will appreciate your help,thanks.

first of all i want to confirm is it ,bios password or hdd password

kart042000:
The price is not going to exceed the charge for doing it at donkuland printing at awolowo ikoyi. I had rather prefer to see creativity at work. When i see the best i will publicly state it out and me and the person will talk privately.
The graphics designer can choose to state the price.

u didn't state the size of the banner, we need more details sir

frankben4real:
I can't stop laughing...no price tag, if you mean business quote price so as to compare the stress and the price

abi ooo

Agbeke2013:
i love to come for d training but is that ur price

Hey peeps am a newbie to nairaland and i just thought that i havent seen any vfx or blender groups here so i decided to make one.

I am 17 and i have really been enjoying using blender vfx and compositing but i just wonder why it seems i am the only one in lagos of my agemate to start making good use of of blender and i think the youth should be highly encouraged to start doing good things to make this country progress.
Every youth wants to enter the university thinking it guarantees them a good future but they dont know that future can be gotten university or no university.
For example the internet as made everything easy. Throgh the internet at my young age i have been able to learn web technology(html, css,js) and network security implementations. This are things some student think thell be thought in the uni. So they wait till they get there instead of taking there time to study. Another thing people complain bout is employment. But why is everyone trying to get employed instead of trying to establish something. Especially in the area of technology. There are ton of ways an individual can make progress.
I just hope the spirit of this country will change.
Leaving that aside feal free to post ur project, questiòns and stuffs. Lets make this happen peeps

keep it up,i had the same zeal when i was about ur age and i dont regret it now

Agbeke2013:
is it agbado station or kola

I just wanna setup a blog myself and know it's truely my handiwork thats why i'm enquring frm you, 4 months for a start , how much will it cost me

that should be around 40 dollars if you want full features unlimited bandwith, space etc but usually all this hosting copanies don't put values like "4 months" ,what u will see is 1 month , 6 months , 1 year etc

Iamhoypete:
Thanks man. Do u've any idea how much i can get a self hosted blog, just wanna start this whole blogging thing.

as I said I help people create blogs and the price for the self hosted blog will depend on how many months , or years subscription u will like to be activated for the hosting ,I hope u grab ?,I will like to do buisness with u *winks* but if u want to do it on your own I will still put u through , any further questions sir ? Hw many months hosting plan will u like to activate
