He dresses the way he likes and Mark Zuckerberg dresses the way he likes too. It does not make Mark better than him and him better than Mark. When you have made some money and are able to afford anything in life outside those neeedlesss jets, then you will know that Life is beautiful and not a place you compare yourself with others or even compares others with others.

Dear Nairalanders I was transferred in my place of work to go help build up a new branch,having resumed this new branch,my salary was slashed by 30% owing to the fact that its a new branch.I called the head office to cry out,but they told me to hold my peace that they will look into it and pay me in arrears when the time comes.However my family still resides in the former place I was transferred from because of my wife government job.
Recently I just came to my senses that I cannot leave our little children upbringing for my wife alone who also has been complaining most times.I then called on our head office to relocate me to another new branch nearer where my family resides but they told me that since it was a new branch I can't maintain my management position that except I will have to be demoted,I refuse going initially due to fear of demotion, but now am willing to accept demotion for the sake of my family,PLEASE AM I TAKING THE RIGHT DECISION? thanks for all your positive inputs

where I'm from men don't do house chores but I still help her out, in my house I've no maid because I don't like someone else touching my food to the extent I don't leave home for work until my food is ready both the one I'll carry to office,
as am typing this message, she has mopped the parlour, rooms, washed the toilets, now she is in the kitchen and I've been in our room since I woke up likewise my son. she doesn't complain.
not only do I encourage her by buying her gifts (dress, shoe, etc) I come across, I also assist her in doing some house chores (sweeping, she wash and I rinse and spread) whenever I'm chanced

now what am saying is that he sees all that you doing and going through, all you need to know is if his work is very stressful and if not, you have to be cool when asking him
eg you are in kitchen and you need to do something else, you can just ask him by simply saying "dear please help me, my hands are dirty, stained or I don't want to touch because .... and while he is coming to help u out try and establish a conversation with him

and if he doesn't come to assist, something is wrong

wonderful nairalanders, often times I have seen couples under pressure because of the duties at home either one is doing it all or the other is not helping out. I want to get your opinion on this; As the one providing everything in the home, is out on point or out of place for the husband to get involved in the house chores even as the head of the family.

Your marriage should be your heaven and safe abode. No woman should work like a slave in her own house,you are not a man's maid!!
As to the question, your husband can definitely help you out with the house chores especially when you are tired or want to watch an important soap opera. Though I suggest the work be divided 50/50 for peace sake.

It's unfortunate you saw all that and went ahead with the marriage.

Trust me man, you lost absolutely nothing with her choosing to leave. Women like her never add anything to improve a man's life, they can only drag you back and fill you with negativity.
The only unfortunate outcome here is the child you share with her, that boy is going to be the living breathing reminder that tethers you to her for as long as one of yous are still alive.

It is said children are a gift from God, so I guess you won something out of all this.
However, I think you should make attempts to see your boy more and possibly be directly involved in his upbringing cos leaving him totally in the hands of that woman and her mother may not be very good for his own psychological well-being.

Your case is very similar to mine but the difference is that we had no kid. Thankfully. The marriage lasted 1 year. Good guys pls always avoid karashikas pls. Never ignore redflags and always look at the character of the mother. The child is 90percent of the time the carbon copy.

I moved out of the house with just my clothes to escape the fury of a Jezebel. I'm glad i took that choice ignoring what name society will give me and the many people judging. If I die, same society will say ah! Why didnt u just leave? Your son will definately grow up with the lie that your a useless father.

I advice young people pls dont procreate immedately you wed. Give a year or two for watchful observation. Forget the pressure from society that expects to come for baby dedication 9months after. Sorry bro.
