The ipob terrorist organisation is proscribe and shouldn't be seen in any gathering or event. That is the message of the fed govt.
Meanwhile, I really wish the happenings during the burial is broadcasted live by channels or tvc so we can watch how they chicken out out as usual. Can't you guys just stay out of IPOB/Igbo affairs |

Go and read what the British called southern protectorate because western region has been existing before.
I don't know what these guys are just arguing. Is. It hard to accept the truth and who you are.

Agidimalaja1: Geographically, there are only four cardinal directions. Don’t mind the colonial masters. Cardinal direction doesn't correspond to geographical zone. The whole Nigeria can head north. Then we can turn to the left and head west. We can to the turn left again and head south. One more turn to the left and we shall be heading east. Hope you got that |

Let me educate you a little because it seems you are ignorant.
Western Nigeria is Yorubalands.....and Yorubaland is geographically west.
In history of yorubas both pre-colonial times it was referred to as west which is the right word to use.
Yorubaland doesn't fit into Southern Nigeria at all....It is a rape of geography that thinga are not always put in the right perspective in this country.
SW is just a misnomer and a recent acronym and doesn't even fit in maps which west agrees to answer because any name Nigeria gives they gladly answer it without thinking as far as it is only Nigeria.
Know the history today. Piggiiiddiiooott on the prowl! Wasn't there Southern Protectorate of Nigeria before we had Western Nigeria |

duwdu: Please state your "facts," or you answer the question yourself nau., since you're the one making/selling a claim?
How much was crude oil selling for prior to Obasanjo coming to power? It was cheaper, of course. Crude oil has always been on an historical rise in price, thus it would be higher in price after Obasanjo's years in power [power that just fell on his lap following the unfortunate political treatment meted out to his kinsman Abiola and which inhumanity he (Obasanjo) has refused to be circumspect about, till tomorrow.] So, what's your point about the selling price of crude oil, exactly?
So, how many did he build and actually put to real work, where, and at what cost per KW?
They were not working; that was partly why Obasanjo purported to have sold them off/privatized them; fortunately, Yar'Adua reversed the purported sale/privatization the moment he took over from Obasanjo.
No, the country was NOT secure - militancy everywhere in the Niger Delta and no peace, just to cite one instance. At one point, Obasanjo had to wipe out the entire village of Odi and most of its inhabitants, in the name of containing militancy. It took Yar'Adua coming to power and his Amnesty program for some measure of peace to reign. Besides, the basis for Boko Haram rising - the killing of their then leader Shekau(?) during Obasanjo's reign - brought BH to its infamous life, actually.
So, what was it?
I know for sure the exchange rate was better (in favour of the Naira, that is) before Obasanjo came to power than when he left or had to leave power. IIRC, Obasanjo devalued the Naira and increased the pump price of a litre of petrol at least twice.
What "massive" growth, for Pete's sake? Can you please define massive growth?
What success? Even the seemingly successful singular - the GSM "revolution" was because it was financed by the private sector. If ever there were others, please formally state them. Or do you mean the likes of our public assets and patrimony he and his then deputy sold off to their cronies, especially through the BPE?
So what? I believe this current regime has brought back our FR even more than that, in real terms, and under a more dare set of circumstances.
Obasanjo's regime did; and someone had to do it, anyways; but the man Obasanjo ended up blatantly using the bodies (and especially Ribadu of the EFCC) mainly to torment and reign in his political enemies. Otherwise, I cannot, in all fair conscience, point to any major recoveries of the pilferage of our common patrimony before and during his regime, by the bodies. And the ICPC was a totally obscure and toothless bulldog, to boot.
So, in your voice, Guy, remove your head from Obasanjo's/PDP assss.
........ P34c3 ..... ... The bolded is all I need to confirm that you are/were a kid especially during Obasanjo's tenure... Thanks for sparing me the stress of having to ram the facts into your brain all over again... Even Buhari dare not compare his tenure with Obasanjo's considering the carcass of a country Obasanjo took over as president... APC/Buhari apologists are just pathetic! Damn!! |

Why didn't you?
OMG! What's wrong with Nigerians celebrating deadbeat past presidents? Nitori Olorun!
I said here once that the average Nigerian's memory capacity is very low. Some think I was insulting them. I'm not.
Just look at you bro.
Obasanjo had 8 years and all the opportunities in this whole wide world to steer Nigeria in the proper direction. He failed woefully. Woefully.
You couldn't even counter any of the points I made in my post.
Yes, he helped navigate the debt relief. Kudos to him.
And then what?
A man who came out of prison, penniless and broke, left the presidency 8 years after as one of the richest men in Nigeria, if not Africa.
And you're here berating me for telling the truth.
Y'all deserve Nigeria and Nigeria deserves you, truly.
Ah-ha, or is it not this same Obasanjo that was sharing Ghana-must-go bags filled with cash to the federal lawmakers so that they could amend the constitution to give him a chance at third term?
Please, if you were still a babe at arms during those period just ask for explanations of how things were during that period.
He had the opportunity to strengthen the institutions of democracy. Instead he bastardised them.
Rigging was a way of life. He foisted Yaradua and Badluck Jonothing on the nation, a man obviously ill who collapsed on the campaign stage and was rushed to the UK.
Am I the only one who remembers these things in Nigeria?
E gbami ara adugbo, en wo mi niran ni?
I'm.not the one disgusting you o. Stand in front of a mirror bro. Your points are so worthless, trying to counter them one after the other is was a waste of time... Are we arguing facts or emotions here How was Nigeria like when Obasanjo took over How much was crude oil selling when Obasanjo was in power How many power stations did Obasanjo build Were the refineries working or not Was the country secure or not What was the Naira - Dollar exchange rate during his tenure Did our economy experience massive growth or not Was privatisation largely successful or not Did we have USD60bn u=in our foreign reserves or not Who established EFCC and ICPC Guy, remove your head from Buhari/APC's assss. FrLukas: I should be asking you if you are ok.
Or maybe you were still soiling your nappies during Obasanjo's reign.
Since you are eager to defend him
1. Go to Ota and ask him what happened to 16 BILLION DOLLARS money released for power
2. Ask him if he consulted with the other two arms of government before parcelling off Bakassi Peninsula to the Cameroonians all because of a selfish ambition to become UN Secretary General.
3. Go so your research on how he institutionalised corruption through the PDP in Nigeria. It was under his reign that the Uba brothers kidnapped the governor of their state. A whole governor.
4. Rigging and violence during election was the norm during his time. Go and read about the "this election is a do or die affair" accredited to him, a whole sitting president.
5. Go ask Ibadan people how Obasanjo as president went to prostrate for Adedibu in Ibadan.
6. Go and visit the location where Odi village used to be located and ask them there what happened.
7. Go read old newspapers and see how Obasanjo's family affairs, including allegedly sleeping with his daughter-in-law dominated the airwaves, while his own daughter kept writing public letters to her father.
To you and in your mind, Obasanjo was a great leader abi?
Because he put mobile phone in your hand you think he's great. Go and ask how MTN milked Nigerians so bad when GSM first got to Nigeria.
He and his friends made a killing from that.
Praising the same man that built a presidential library in his own name?
Shior! Honestly, you disgust me... Obasanjo took over a nearly dead country from the military and turned it into a prosperous powerhouse with all our debts paid/cancelled and USD60bn in foreign reserve. All our indicators were green and the whole country was safe. I can go on and on. Be careful! |
