The ‘A dara, a dara’ singer, among many other acclaimed songs, died hours ago, at the age of 79.The passage was relayed by his widow, Latoya, through music promoter and Evergreen Music boss, Bimbo Esho.

Esho noted in an early Friday Facebook post thus:

The Senate has passed the Peace Corps bill.

The bill, sponsored by Borno senator, Ali Ndume, seeks to give legal backing to the establishment of the Peace Corps as a government parastatal and allow its members to be absorbed into the proposed organisation at commencement.
