Over the years, i've asked myself what is the reason or driving force behind rape incidences, it just can't be caused by just one factor only, of which many people will attribute it to "konji" there has to be a psychology around it. This is a discussion thread were matured minds should come to rub in their opinions as to why they think people (some men) get involved with rape/molestation.


The big question is, What is/are the cause(s) of Rape?



Do you think it goes beyond the physical?





When I was deliberating upon this issue with some friends, male and female alike, a colleague opined that the reason why some men get involved in rape is because they never had any sexual relationship with the opposite sex until much later in life.


Another person described the root of the matter relating to lack of self control.



A female in the group discussion opined that she feels that why some men resort to rape is due to the lack of good family upbringing.



I believe many of us in here will have one or two things to chip in regarding to this menace in the society. Every day we hear of rape/molestation cases and the need to understand why this is recurrent is important.


Let's know your view on this.
