Please when is the next date for treasury bill auction? |
Please when is the next treasury bill auction? |
Ghana is more indebted than Nigeria, Ghana has more economical problems than Nigeria at the moment. The only differences btw Naija and Ghana is that, Nigerians are crying more about their economical problems than Ghanians are doing. So because Nigerians are naturally lousy, it is very easy to believe that Nigeria has more economical problems than Ghana, epecially in the areas of paying back foreign debts.. Even IMF and other international financial institutions have already made it clear that Ghana cannot pay up about 60% of their foreign debts, and Ghanian govt admitted this irrefutable fact. You could as well tell us more about Axamansard insurance and all that we need to know here... Asking clients to contact you guys privately makes everybody to be very suspicious and extremely careful. So many fraudsters hovering around, looking for whom to devour. Tinu4real: |

The good news is that the rest of world is beginning to realise how much they have been deceived by USA and their hypocritical foreign policies. It is only a matter of time before the table turns. Many countries are already getting rid of American influence on their economy and politics. But this is still very difficult for Nigeria and other African countries because we have been so deeply messed up and dependent on US dollars/aids. emmaodet: |
The world will soon be done with dollar hegemony. Russia/Ukraine crisis has opened the eyes of many countries. China, Saudi Arabia, Russia, India and other nations are now concluding plans on how to trade with each other using their local currencie instead of using dollars as the only means of payment. It is only a matter of time before African countries follow suit, dollar is certainly still gonna dominate but it will definately lose lots of relevance on the international market. It is only a matter of time... The pace to reduce the strength of dollar globally has already been set.... even IMF has seen the hand writing on the wall. |

Thanks for sharing this post. I believe this is critically important for Nigerians to know when trying to get loans from banks to start up a new business. In fact, this information even softened my anger against our banks, as to why they hardly give loans to intending entrepreneurs to start up a business. I now understand better..... emmanuelewumi: |
Bro, these are not arguments, but financial/bank delibrations, as it affects our economy and individuals. Tobex4realTobex234: |
Oga Emma and Lazyyouth4u are almost saying the same thing from different perspective. The acquisition of Union Bank by Titan Bank is like the voice of Jacob and the hand of Esau. Merry Christmas to you all. |
Very unfortunate that majority of Nigerians don't read, reading a good book on any subject is a burden to Nigerians. Most writers in Nigeria are hungry. AngelicBeing: |

This is the height of entitlement mentality that has ruined most Nigerians. If Oga Emma should say yes, and the novice investor goes ahead to buy shares he knows nothing about, if anything eventually goes wrong tomorrow, you will all be crucifying Oga Emma. But if everything goes well and the novice investor gets good dividends from his shares, you won't see him here again to even say thank you or share his own experience with others. Some Nigerians are terribly terrible, no wonder we have heartless and unreasonable leaders. dobnina: |
Even if you do money ritual, you can't get above 40% monthly. Any business or investment you are expecting to earn above 20%, just know that greed has taken over such investment and premium tears are inevitable. DontBullshitMe: |
@jedisco, you are indeed brilliant and a very deep thinker. God bless you with more wisdom and knowledge. |
I agree with you.. The friends we keep and the kind of books we read often shape our future. But there is nothing wrong keeping friends who are not as smart or rich as you. You just have to know the kind of friends you listen to or take advice from. Don't tell me all Warren Buffet or Elon Musk friends are just as rich and smart as they are. emmanuelewumi: |
This is not necessarily true. If you are determined in life, with a strong will and passion towards your goals and mission, it does not really matter who you hang out with... In fact, you could sometimes learn a lot by hanging out with fools or debtors. emmanuelewumi: |
They have started again |
I like this question, Nigeria is far better than most African countries, virtually in everything.. but you will never see their citizens bad-mouthing their countries everywhere they go. I have friends from other African countries, but I have never seen a country like Nigeria where her citizens are champions in showcasing all the bad/negagive things happening in their country. Nobody is saying things are working perfectly in Nigeria, and we mustn't always hide things, but the negative vibes Nigerians are using to degrade their country on all social media platform is having negative impacts on Nigerians and Nigeria as a country. Never you underestimate the powers of professing negative things against yourself or your country. mikylon: |
It is very difficult to see anything good in a person or country you have already made up your mind to hate. Things are hard and very frustrating at the moment in Nigeria, no doubut, but we will never give up or surrender. chigo4u: |
We all know that things are not going smoothly in Nigeria, lots of challenges in every sector. But Nigeria has a way of disappointing those that have always predicted doom on her. Nigeria's economy just recorded five percent growth in the second quarter of 2021, I am baffled nobody even shared the news here. Lets assume the news was a negative one, or Nigeria slumped into another recession, many would have shared it here without hesitation. With the stagnant rates on t-bills, we might not have a double digit rates this year or next year. Considering the huge debt this present govt is accumulating, it would be suicidal to increase interest rates at the moment, even though econometrics is saying otherwise. Some mutual funds seems to be more appealing than t-bills for now. |
Bank staffs don't care about your investments with them, many of them don't know much about bonds or mutual funds or financial markets, they are only after their monthly salaries. You should equip yourself with enough informantions, walk into their office and tell them what you want with confidence. Sometimes, you just put yourself in disadvantage asking bank staffs some certain questions about investments, because they don't know much and don't want to show their financial ignorance before a customer, they will just tell you something that will make you uncomfortable and leave their office to other branch or bank. mickky22: |
FBN Fixed Income Fund is not doing bad at all, how can I open an online account with FBNQuest Asset Management? How accessible is FBNQuest if their attention is needed? How long does it take to redeem your fund? Please, those who are already with FBNQuest Asset Management should share their experiences with us. jobark: |
Accommodation is a global problem, but it is really getting worse in Nigeria because of our increasing population and constant migration from rural to urban areas in search of jobs. Govt should build more industries in rural areas and create employments there, that would discourage many from migrating to cities in search of a better life. Moreover, real estate is capital intensive, and you have to wait for several years to make your profits, and this often discourage most Nigerians with capital to build affordable housing, waiting for years to get back your ROI is not in the DNA of a typical Nigerian. emmanuelewumi: |
Exactly, and another reason some employees are asked to work within a certain period of time is because of secret informations the company might be hiding.. Some Engineers/Scientists working in hydro power firms or nuclear plants or sensitive biological research centres are used to this kind of contracts, they are not allowed to work beyond some certain period of time and workers are often tranferred from one unit to another, just to confuse them and ensure they don't know too many secrets about their operations.
