How do I know this? He made that threat immediately after he mentioned that those who did not witness the civil war are the ones trying to tear the country apart. MR. The military pushed these guys into picking up arms, how can you be killing peaceful demonstrators and not expect revolt?

The case of Lekki that thousands watched live streaming on social media what has the govt done other than threatening fire and brimstone.

Has being tough quell Boko Haram which is an ideology?

Someone should tell Buhari that claiming to be tough all the time isn't the best approach. He should dialogue with these guys. If Yaradua had followed the steps he's taking now, there won't be any country for him to govern. A word is enough for the wise.

The Igbos are the only binding factor keeping this country together. Imagine a country without them.

The original Yoruba name is “Ebere,” and we still use this name (among others) all over our kingdoms till date. But the name “Eben” was recently faked by the Binis.

The name “Eben” is a modern-day Benin forgery which was recently fabricated in order to hide the true/original IFE-Yoruba origin of this state ‘sword’.

We know this because, even in as recent as the 1800s, European visitors to Benin who met this state object in Benin also documented its name as “Ebere” — NOT once as “Eben” — See. H. Ling Roth (1903).

I totally agree with the opinions above.

A man who professed dangerous ideology glorifying murderers cannot and should not head ANY government agency or parastatal talkless of a ministerial role dealing with a sensitive position such as communication.

It is irrelevant that the opinion was made when he was still in the university. A radical ideologue remains a radical ideologue notwithstanding the passage of time. He is a loose cannon that can be activated at any time.

Who knows if this chap is a BH mole in the FG who is sharing classified information about troops movement, objectives and strategies?

How many BH symphatisers has he employed into the communications ministry?

This man should be sacked and his stewardship of the communications ministry properly probed by security experts.

The probe should be extended to the law enforcement agencies who cleared him for ministerial position in the first place. How could they have missed such important information about the man?
Christianity EtcRe: A Pastor Said I Was A Witch Because Of My Big Eyeballs During Deliverance - Lady by DonCandido(f): 5:16pm On Apr 16, 2021
jesusjnr2020:
Believe it or not, there are certainly witches around who fashion all kinds of evil against men, but "big eyeballs" is not one of the ways to identify them.

It's hard to identify them using physical methods, because they often put up friendly and good attitudes to disguise their true nature, and also use spiritual means to cover up their activities and keep them secret from the physical eyes, but spiritually their secrets and disguises can be exposed.

The person behind the travails of the family of a Nairalander out of whom a demon was casted earlier this year, is pretty much the last person anyone would have expected.

She's not an outsider but a family member, and she exposed herself when she said a proverb, "that the ant eating the vegetable is under the vegetable."

She has been also exposed in several dreams, as once when she was seen sitting on a broom which was hanging and moving on the air. Another where she was seen with the Nlander's attackers amongst others.

This person goes to church, prays and engages herself in all sorts of Christian activities yet she's a witch.

So these things are not imaginary but very real, and though it's always been there, it appears to have become much worse than it's ever been, as the times are getting more evil than ever.

Hence the need for one to be spiritually secured, so that one doesn't find himself falling prey to the evil plans of such wicked ones.

God bless.

Foreign AffairsRe: See Burkina Faso's State-of-the-Art Road Network by DonCandido(f): 6:28pm On Mar 27, 2021
Aconomist:
I don't like this complacency attitude. Nigeria's road network is not acceptable for a country of its size and wealth. Yes, we are the best in West Africa, but other countries are making better use of their much smaller resources.
Is see that you are doubling down on an obvious faux pas on your part in comparing a substandard interchange in a largely agrarian country with a vastly cosmopolitan one.

You may not know this because of politics, Nigeria has the highest road network in West Africa and each year, each state continue and the federal government to build more and more. At the same time are repairing existing ones.

Contrary to the urban legend that Nigeria is a rich country, it is in fact NOT. If you divide the total annual income with the population, you will see that we are not a rich country.

Unfortunately, the citizens have developed a sense of entitlement based on unrealistic expectations and believe in non existent wealth.

The malcontent citizenry compare the country with countries with less population but same income bracket and start to hyper ventilate all over social media.

Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco, South Africa etc. have fewer population and about the same resources as Nigeria (if not more). Their incomes are therefore adequate to cater for the infrastructural development of their countries and even have reserves.

If you must compare MY country with another, please make it an APPLE for an APPLE comparison.

Tired of indolent people not seeing and appreciating what we have achieved as a country.

Proud of my country and its achievements so far...

I beg to disagree with you. You cannot compare the state infrastructural development in Ouagadogou with any of these Nigerian cities. They are way ahead of Ouagadogou.

The amount spent on infrastructural development in these cities is more than Burkina Faso's total national budget for 3 years-budget funded principally by donor agencies and France.

Most Nigerians only want to be politically correct half the time when we speak ill of our country but we know deep down in our hearts that our country's economy and infrastructural development is still the best in the west Africa region.

It is not comparable.

Visitors to Ouagadougou, the capital of Burkina Faso are impressed by the city's wide, spotless streets and easy flow of traffic -- a far cry from the daily gridlock of other African cities like Lagos or Port Harcourt. The Burkina government has embarked on a massive infrastructure push designed to ease congestion and improve quality of life in this impoverished West African state of just 20 million.
