They said the tag 'UNILAG' sells like mad. I agree. And few hours after the name changed, students turn to the streets. And I ask myself, is it the brand name that makes the students or vice versa? They should be thinking of making their school rank amongst the top 5 universities in Africa (http://www.4icu.org/topAfrica/) rather than enguage in this madness. I pray no one gets hurt. 2 Likes |

A city fan told me Saturday before the match that he would not be worried so much about loosing the championship but could have sleepless nights because of what would come out of Fergie's mouth. The man self to yarn. I seriously think he deserved what he got. 2 Likes |

Those devils will never give up. They should be ashamed of themselves. Local champions that can't beat any team outside Britain. The FA is only destroying the game.

One of the brothers who killed schoolboy Damilola Taylor has been released early from prison. Danny Preddie, now 23, is understood to be staying at a west London bail hostel after serving five years for the 10-year-old's manslaughter. He was spotted walking in a park with a bottle of beer despite strict parole conditions, including a curfew order ensuring he is not out on the streets late at night. Elder brother Ricky, 24, who was also sentenced to eight years behind bars in October 2006, was released in September last year - but recalled to jail for breaching his parole. Gary Trowsdale, managing director of the Damilola Taylor Trust, said: "Having cost the taxpayer £15 million in police and trial fees we hope that Danny Preddie can finally show some remorse. "The system of reformation does not seem to have worked for his brother so we can only hope he is more sensible. "If he can make some use of his life now then we should give him that chance. Whether we agree with the short sentence or not it is served now and we have to hope he does not heap more pain and suffering on the Taylor family by having them read his name again in the papers in relation to another crime." All this talk don dey high me sef. But seriously, i think it shud be legalized becos my village is the largest producer in naija. Think of all my kinsmen who wud loose their source of livelihood if it is banned. Govt can generate income from taxing weed producers. Abeg make i finish my 'claro' before i continue this gist. |

I just can't wait for the day we all will rise up and say 'enough is enough' and mean it. We simply are not tired of bad governance yet. God help us! |

I think its good business. You buy, you add value and you sell. At the end, PROFIT counts. |
