Guys I think the list is ready but the wait might not be over just yet. I was watching a program on AIT not long ago and the Senate committee on petroleum holding the list on their hands said it doesn't reflect federal character hence the recruitment should be cancelled, that a state has 17 names while the President's state has just 1. So let's hope they resolve the issue amicably without substituting names or the recruitment been cancelled coz I no trust these Senate guys.

I saw this, I heard the Chairman State though not President.

They did not say cancel ooh. They said on hold.

All the people I mentioned are richer than Davido's father

Kindly show me their net worth. A simple Googling will change that perception of yours.

Davido is a loudmouthed fool always shouting money at every single opportunity to the extent you would start thinking he is the richest man in Africa.

Otedola family is richer than this fool and his family even his father is no match for Oba Otudeko and Tunde Folawiyo his father's money is still chicken change but you would think his father is the richest man in Nigeria with all his noise.

In as much as you want to insult Davido, state facts. Davido Father's money is not chicken change and should be richer than 2 out of the 3 names you stated.

Good evening Adamu, I think this clearly reveals your goal, we are more like your perceived rivals, don't mind Nigerians, they can be wickedly wasteful. It's really bad that the recruitment has been cancelled, we will move on from here.

I met this new guy. It's a long distance and we say we want to make things work. He will visit soon according to him. But he is asking for financial help barely after one week. Last week I sent him 2k for fuel, now he is asking for another money. He said he will bring it when coming next week. I am disappointed.
This is the reality women now has to face, how come it's during the time we met you're suddenly broke? Yet it is the women that are gold diggers. He isn't the first person, more women just need to speak out as much as the guys are complaining about a girl asking for financial help barely into a new relationship.
Update; now begging for sub money shocked I don't know what is wrong with some guys of nowadays. No dignity
Friday morning rants cry

Don't give him a dime. It is too early. Once a girl asks me for such money just after 2 weeks of a relationship, I am definitely breaking up. Such a relationship always end parasitic, when the money starts submerging they bounce.

Who knows? They just shoved a man at the public and said ' thats your guy' . There is the possibility that they just picked a petty criminal or innocent man and nailed him. Records, history and proof for the public. Im glad they caught the guy but it will be better if we can be sure without doubt.
Exactly my point. I just don't want to appear as the guy with a negative intuition. Let's just watch and see.

I posted this earlier. I had to edit because I realised I wasn't fully anon on my profile and I'm trying to protect my privacy. I hope my profile photo has deleted o. LMAO.

Here's what I wrote earlier.

"Alright. Lemme talk my own.

Nothing significant that has not been heard already.

I spoke to someone (one of my rich toasters huhu) who USED TO work with NNPC he rose through the ranks before leaving for a private oil company.

Same information. He said he spoke to someone who WORKS IN THE GMDs office (high up) about me (I went for the interview) the guy said it's ABOVE HIM. I only called him to confirm if my name was on the list but he said he can't see anything it's very confidential. He said I should pray because my state is competitive. Imagine someone working in the GMDs office saying it's above him.

Other things he said:
- It's apparently 80% merit 20% politics.
- He spoke to the guy after the Salah break and he told him to expect the letter end of this month.
- They're taking people more from "technical" roles. I'm not sure what that really means. I studied Social Science so I'm not among. sad
- I didn't ask about TF and APL because he won't know and I'll just look stupid asking about una nairaland theories.

It's nothing I haven't heard here a thousand times. Please don't ask for my state o. Ya girl is trying to stay anon.

Disclaimer: THIS PERSON IS NOT CURRENTLY WORKING WITH NNPC. He's an old head relying on others for information to".

Thanks for this info.

Bro.. That why I said you weren't following the trend of our conservation. Naturally I don't like dragging issues but I felt I should bring it to your attention and others on this tread because most times this is what bring about unnecessary argument here. If I hadn't understood the line of thought of the guy you said I quoted wrongly, trust me I wouldn't have and perhaps if you really did follow through comments, you would realize that the guy 'RoboCop' which you said I quoted wrongly made mention that he earlier made similar submission about more slot for I.T guys and was almost Lynch which suggests that he may also have similar conviction.
But anyway thanks for trying to correct me even though I feel you didn't really understand the basis of my comment.
For the record am only still mentioning this because I would love to see every one on this platform exercise due diligence before jumping into a conversation. Sometimes a comment you see at page 50 may have it precedence from an interaction that started at page 40 in which if you didn't really take your time to digest may lead to wrong assumption.
Finally! May APL of NNPC and even better organizations fall on all of us (Amen)
Cheers bro! grin

I followed the earlier trend and was in defence of Robocop against what will seem an IT Vs Engr debacle. Well as I said let's let things slide. See you at the Towers before we go Darado on each other. Thanks.

Oga obviously you are the one who just quote people out of context. It better you appropriately follow the trend of discussion before you jump into it and also strive to have a grasp of one's comment before you rush to rebuke them.
For the record, no one can say specifically which specialization or discipline would have more slot than others in this recruitment unless of course you are privy to the process which was what my comment was trying to address and the fact that I quoted that guy is because he had a similar line of thought about I.T graduate having more slot.
And I repeat I.T is for everyone regardless of what you studied because it has application in every field however as someone who studied an I.T related course you may have little or no knowledge about fundamentals of other disciplines such as understanding the physical and chemical processes involved in let say a refinery.

Oga you quoted the wrong dude simple. From my reply to Black11, Robocop is not who you should quote. He just clarified a misconception about the word "automation" being only Engineering related. As I said earlier, I.T is a global skill and its application is crawling into different fields. An I.T guy might or might not know about the fundamentals of Refinery. A geologist might or might not know about let's say Networking. As Humans we learn what we think we will need.

For the advice about quoting people out of context, I think you need that lesson more. Cheers.

I wish you had followed through to understand why he wrote the epistle

Robocorp was not the guy to quote. Robocorp was just letting Chioma19 know that automation is not all about Engineering. The guy should have quoted Etr3y.

As for your wish: I followed through.

Lol.. So does NNPC now needs more expert in I.T than Engineering? I don't think so. You guys seems to forget that I.T is for everyone and there are specific application of I.C.T in terms of computer software and programs for each industry which doesn't require you to have a degree in any I.T related course before you can be an expert. There are lot of guys that didn't study any I.T related course and are gurus in programming and other I.T sector.
In short some have even left their core discipline and are working in I.T sector doing better than those who even study I.T related course. On other hand, if you study any I.T related course, you would (let me not say never) rarely have deep understanding of chemical or mechanical processes and operations needed for the oil and gas sector.
In a nutshell, you can only conclude that there are more slot for I.T than others if only you have statistical evidence of the vacancies that needs to be filled or maybe new departments have been created which needs more I.T related graduate.
It just like someone coming here to tell you GOOGLE needs more mechanical or chemical engineers in their advertised vacancies without any evidence to back it up. It is highly unlikely grin, grin, grin

So las las, weather they need just one person from your field or not. The prayer is to be the chosen one.
Cheers

You guys just quote a post and write a different story. Where in his reply did he mention that they will employ more IT guys than Engineers? He simply said automation is also IT related. So you think knowing a Programming language is all it takes to be an IT guy? Let me laugh.

Programming is like a horse to a Calvary soldier, It is good you know it but you also need a shield, fighting skill and a good brain to make second order thinking. With institutes springing left and right teaching different facets of IT, why won't guys from other courses delve into IT.

They are simply delving into it because it is lucrative. The job market is saturated, so they try to immerse themselves with a global skill which we can say ICT is at the vanguard.

Surely, NNPC will employ more Engineers, there is no dispute to that.
