cybug: Can this clothes be resold for profit?

how much do you think it can be re-sold?

Following
Tailors here in Lagos charge #5,000 per shirt. I confirmed this mid-september when a colleague requested his tailor sew him some shirts. Sadly, the shirts came out not giving him a perfect fit especially the elbow, armpit and rib cage areas.
He has done some amendments on them twice already.

I did supplied to boutiques when I was still a corper and they resold for much higher prices. If you resell at #4,000 that means a profit of #500 per shirt.

Better to sell more quantities at lower profit margin than hiking your prices without selling much.

olu77: This is nice Aba even has white models and that is always the problem, instead of posting original shirts made in Aba you are posting pictures you downloaded online.
Choose the preferred shirt from the list and YOU WILL GET THE EXACT sewn.

That's how Aba (and China) functions. grin

AdvertsAba-made SHIRTS: Best Tailors In Nigeria - Place Your Orders by donigspain(op):
Hi Friends,

Sincerely, I think this thread is coming a little bit late. I should've opened it years ago but nevertheless, like a popular saying, better late than never.

We all know that Aba is unique for her creativity and innovation especially in the area of fashion e.g. clothing, footwear, bags etc. It is also widely believed that Aba has the best assembly of tailors in West Africa. Little wonder traders from far and near troop in their thousands to this ancient city to make purchases from the promising markets e.g. Ariaria Int'l Market, Cemetery Market, Ngwa Road Market, Aba Shopping Centre and others.

As an original Nwa-Aba (born & bred), I often smile when I visit boutiques here in Lagos and find some of my brothers' production (shoes & clothes alike) being marketed as foreign brands and the prices put at alarming rates. I know how people admire my shirts whenever I 'rock' them to the office, church or other social functions. They always ask which foreign brand I patronize. You should see the look on their faces when I tell them the shirts are Aba-made from one of my uncles or friends and the prices relatively cheaper.

A few months ago (before Nairaland Tsunami) precisely in April, a thread about shirts from a popular online fashion store was posted to the frontpage. The prices of these shirts shook my heart; some as high as 12k. Shirts I am sure may not be as good and fashionable as those from Enyimba City (Aba).

I expressed my concerns and even offered to link people to a tailor friend of mine. Surprisingly, two nairalanders contacted me. One from Ilorin and the other from Ekiti. They placed their orders (5 shirts per person) and got it delivered to them even without meeting me in person. All communications was done over the phone and Whatsapp messenger.

Since then I have been quite busy with office work and thus could not take further orders. But lately, my job seems to be in auto-pilot and so gives me flexibility. I've therefore decided to open this thread for ANYONE who would like to order shirts from Aba TO BE SEWN for him/her.

arresa: He shouldn't be anywhere near good so don't even talk about excellent?

Can you show us what else he's done with the largest state budget in West Africa besides the few roads in Uyo.?

After 8 years in Office, I can count the number of projects he dabbled into on one hand and they are all uncompleted, they are not even visionary or ground breaking projects.

1. 1 general hospital = Uncompleted

2. Tropicana Entertainment center (inherited from the previous administration) And still uncompleted after Akpabio's 2 terms in office while he still budget billions for the project every year..

3. Airport = Uncompleted

4. Stadium = Uncompleted

What else is there? Nothing.

Nothing but 8 years of waste and scam..
Take a chill pill dude! I only asked a question.
