donigspain:I remember how some ignorant people nearly tore me to shreds for posting the quoted post above in your previous thread. LinkedIn, when used correctly, remains a great platform for getting jobs. |

[s] Butterflyle0:[/s] LIEEEEESSSSSS!!!! I plied this route yesterday (2:15pm - 4:45pm) and today (6:45am - 8:30am) to Ibadan for the #GOTvBoxingNight15 and back to Lagos and I can tell you it's still very bad. There is NO presence of construction workers or their trucks and machinery. I fear work may have been abandoned unless it's because it was weekend (Sunday/Monday morning). Over 75% of the road is still pothole ridden. Commuters used one lane (Ibadan->Lagos lane) at some point. Nonetheless, there's a portion of the road (7% - 10%) that was a smoooooooooooth ride. The construction looked strong and durable. I kept asking myself what it would take our govt to have all our highways in that beautiful condition. I wish seriously all our highways will be like that portion. Notice the time stamps below?

KevinDein:and you think the Spanish Managerial team don't know this? Classic Real Madrid plays highline but that usually changes to deep defence when they play teams with pacey wingers. They did same against Liverpool, Juventus, Bayern and PSG. |
pharaohmonch:How much is this going for? |
You need therapy man. Seriously, you need to see a qualified therapist. The truth is, your wife may be innocent of all these accusations and you are just conjuring things: making harmless opinions of hers seems like opposition attacks. Which sensible woman would want to relinquish the comfort of her matrimonial privacy to go live in her MIL's house? Visit your mum regularly, get her a helper if need be, stock her home with foodstuff if you got the resources, and give her some pocket money. Simple! Don't go and live with her. You've got your own home to manage; manage it like a man too! Stamp your authority. Be firm yet understandable. |
Have you tried love? I mean genuinely loving this your "evil" uncle. I've come to realize that love often solves some African problems created by "hearsay", prophesies, imaginations and the rest paranoia. Try more love and less attention to con men. |

This is why I love my people. Igbo enweghi eze. We are egalitarians. This 'Igwe' must have wronged his people too much. I strongly doubt it's just about the 5 million. We don't worship man to the extent of losing our senses. Once you "mis-yarn/do", the people will quickly realign you. Same fate almost befell the Okpi of Item (pronounced EETEM) in Bende LGA of Abia state some years ago. He was also a retired police officer. He was alleged to have hired killers to assassinate one 'jand' returnee who wanted to build a university for the community. The man (returnee) was trailed and murdered by the criminals. The youths of the nine villages that make up Item Community never slept until all the criminals were caught and killed after their confessions. The Okpi was apprehended, stripped and was about to be lynched before the Police came. He was subsequently banished from Item for life. Why it seems we tolerate these thieving politicians (governors, senators, reps etc.) is because they have the backing of the government and strong link to the corrupt armed forces. If not, most of them would have been captured, stripped, dragged to the city centres and lynched. Nonsense people. Anyways, jungle justice no good sha. CC: Gboliwe

greggng:They are NOT illegal. The National Lottery Commission issues licences and regulates their activities while State Lottery Boards also grants operational licences. That's why a state [mostly southern] can approve a betting company's operations while another [mostly northern] won't. |
