They have to apologize immediately if they haven't done so. Detaining an innocent man is abominable. Obi remains the most morally upright candidate of the top 3. Meanwhile all eyes on the judiciary. |
Nairalanders should beware of the propaganda tactics of the APC on nairaland. Know that many pro bat comments you see here are not casual users like you and I but people paid to parrot the party's talking points and attack opponents. Watch out for the unusual number of like on many pages that seeks to equal the number of likes on pro-obi posts. Don't be deceived by propagandists. |
Seems like this thread has lost it's appeal that made it unique. A whole champions league quarter final and it's barely moved 4 pages. That was previously unthinkable. What has led to this? |
BlueRayDick:I can relate. There are some good series I just dropped along the way because of the waiting time for the next season release. Narcos Mexico, the good doctor, blacklist and some others. This is the draw back of loving series. That long wait time. |
We've always had problems but has it ever been this bad? Have we really ever had it this bad? |
What really happened to Chelsea? |
BlueRayDick:Ohh, These were top notch series. Just calm down and watch them. It will definitely grow on you. What of West wing, Fargo and succession, have you watched these series? House of cards nko? |
BlueRayDick:Which one's particularly have you not watched? ![]() |
All the comedy or sitcom series I have watched. Big bang theory. Modern family Ted lasso Schitts creek Last man on earth. How I met your mother. American housewife Family guy. The office. Veep Always sunny in Philadelphia. American dad All the political and\or action series I've watched. Homeland 24 Designated survivor House of cards Scandal Madam secretary The west wing |
Okay so these are my very best season movies of all time! Across all genres. What makes a good season movie for me are; -wonderful storyline or scriptwriting, that is, good intricate interwoven plotlines that leave you wanting more. Eg, Breaking bad, sense8, the wire etc. -Superb cinematic production value. Series that when you watch, you see that money was well spent, the asthetics, scenery and the likes were well crafted. Game of thrones, legend of seeker, the west wing. Top notch Creativity. Wonderful performances from the actors. Olivia pope in scandal, Annalise Keating in HTGAWM. Jack Bauer of 24 etc. Malik of mr robot. House of cards. Of course educative and informative. So these are my very best seasonal movies. Many possess all or most of the qualities i listed above. I just couldn't get enough. Although some disappointed with the endings but the vast majority were jaw dropping. Ps; i love all genres of series apart from maybe "religious and conservative series". My favorite genre has to be political drama series. Any series that has the office of the president or a form of government intrigue, constantly features the white house or pentagon or other bureaucracy like the CIA, FBI or the likes. So sometimes this can mix up with detective series. But political dramas like west wing, house of cards, scandal, veep, 24 are some of my favorite. In no particular order but my top 5 being the very best before the rest of the best. The wire Game of thrones The west wing (i cannot overemphasize this series enough) Breaking bad 24 Midnight mass Squid games. House of cards Fargo Ozarks Peaky blinders True detective Homeland Fringe Mr robot. Money heist. Elite Veep How to get away with murder Vikings Scandal Better call Saul Boston legal Person of interest Suits Desperate housewives. Billions Succession Narcos Criminal minds Smallville (just personal appeal) Madam secretary The boys There you have it! There is not a single series you would watch on this list that you wouldn't enjoy and want more. These are the very best of entertainment from my experience. |
Yesterday night, i kinda had an epiphany after browsing the movie website and opening an account there and seeing various series, it took me down memory lane. So, i opened an account on IMDb, and i was seeing some movies i have watched, i decided to list the series i have watched and i was shocked to see the sheer number of season films I've watched over the years. Omo!! I knew that i do watch series but i didn't know that it would be up to 127!! So far oo! Although the caveat is that i didn't complete many and many were also cancelled along the way. The discovery made me remember even the earliest series i watched that introduced me to american series. From princess xena to legend of the seeker, Merlin, lost, Smallville etc. I even recalled how i started watching series. So Short story; my family was the normal quintessential christian conservative household whose movies were predominantly nigerian movies that told stories via the lens of our own society. The religiosity, superstitious beliefs, morbid condemnation of African traditional religion, display of "rituals, sacrifices and the likes. Summarily put, throughout my primary school, myself and my family watched Nollywood movies predominantly. Although we also did watch some american movies on occasion, especially when we switched from VCD to DVD then, i remember watching star wars, around the world in 80 days, the mummy 1 and 2, lord of the rings, rambo, alien vs predator, blade, Harry Potter etc. But it was when i went to secondary school, I began to hear of seasonal movies, my classmates especially one of my new friends was constantly talking about princess xena, 24 and Smallville. This guy could describe the entire storyline of a movie scene by scene without missing a single scene. Anselm ofoegbu. 😀 We would gather around the guy during break or games and he would be storytelling about the series. When it was midterm break and i went back home, from church i would sneak into a filmshop that sells all these DVD disk and buy a series and then go and watch it at home. So my journey of series began. I was the master of binge watching. Watching American series opened ones eye to a whole different world away from yours. It was different from what we knew. Watching 24 absolutely blew my mind. I Smallville introduced me to superhero series which as a young teen was a wonderful entertaining experience. In my jss2, when my dad bought our first home theater system, boy oo boy, there was no going back from there. 😄😄😄 Anyways let me list the earliest series i watched throughout my secondary school period. Kyle xy❌, princess xena, legend of the seeker, Merlin❌, Smallville✅, grey's anatomy, brothers and sisters (my sister personally loved this one soo much), fringe✅✅, ugly betty❌, Boston legal ✅, 24✅✅ ✅, the west wing✅✅✅✅✅, desperate housewives✅, friends, criminal minds🔥, suits✅, supernatural ❌, Stargate Atlantis ❌, the office✅, Malcolm in the middle ❌, lost, how i met your mother ✅, dexter. Teenwolf. Omoo i watch series no be here oo. 😄😄 These are the earliest i could recall. There are even some i no longer remember the names. One about two twin brothers in highschool. Anyways, i would list my very best series of all time on the next post. The pick of the bunch. Like top 15-20. |
The obidients are Patriots of this nation seeking a rebirth of the country of our dreams. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3po8HzN6Vig |
Same propaganda everyday. Una no dey ever tire. ![]() |
Seun:Seun I saw your tweet on Twitter complaining about "hatred obidients have for you". Surely you can't generalize all obidients as one. On the other hand, you can try to do more to curtail the propaganda of the APC group on frontpage and politics thread. The unusual number of likes on some pro-apc comments. The coordinated attacks by same group of people. Seunmssg, freestuff and the rest. I commend your efforts in finally tackling the menace of tribalism on nairaland. But please do something about the propaganda of APC. And please Seun, my main account donjazet was banned for 10 years. I don't even remember what for again. Please help me unban it. |
In this polling unit in Lagos. Obi got 264 votes while tinubu got 95 votes. As we can see by this result on IREV portal, it has been heavily mutilated and 100 votes were created for APC while obi's numbers were slashed by 100. Again multiply this rigging by 20,000 polling units across the country and you get to see how the 8 million votes for APC is a farce. This is day 4 for me now. I'm going to be presenting evidence of rigging from every state in Nigeria including states obi won in to prove how the elections were rigged. I've covered ebonyi, imo, rivers and now lagos. Tomorrow it's Kano.

seankafor:Ahh!! glad I'm not the only one, seeing as people are actually asking about the soap. ;DThere actually wasn't any tissue for use. They expect you to use the soap with the bidet. See where village man dey embarrass himself say him wan use toilet. ![]() |
Away from this, am I the last person on this thread to have used a bidet? Abeg make una no shame me oo. ![]() Myself and the missus lodged in a quite classy hotel day before yesterday on Easter, and I saw a big bowl-like something in the toilet with electric buttons and the kind shame I shame myself say I wan use toilet no be here. it's later the whole thing was explained for me.Is anyone here familiar with usage of a bidet?? |
You would not see the native doctor come here and shout "social media Batists whipping themselves into an unnecessary frenzy" or headless mob. A court has already ruled on this issue and long affirmed obi's candidacy. Secondly, the response by APC is immaterial to the elections which held. It's going to be thrown out on the first day of being read by any judge. I don't see what this aimless noise is about. Nigeria will never have a drug lord as president. |
odizeey:Your first line, we've said it over and over again, it's not dishonesty, it is ethno-religious sentiments.. that's the guiding principle of these fools. Just look at tinubu, nobody actually knows the whereabouts of a whole president-select. In any other democracy in the world, the media and press will be with the president-select non stop. Broadcasting his movement wherever he is with one or 2 photos. As it is, we don't know who this person is meeting, what he is up to and or if he's under treatment. This is what we've signed up for for another 4 years. These are what we warned against for months but primordial sentiments blinded these people's eyes. Well, we dey here. |
Another useless propaganda puff-piece which I'm sure graces the front page because it's been paid for. Such an ugly weaponisation of information and soiling of a public information hub. |
BlueRayDick:Firstly, not only tribalism but also religious sentiments. Those are the 2 factors that undoubtedly shape the vast majority of their views which I have persistently called out and which has obviously proven true. 2. The nostradam guy is definitely not who is posed as but I leave it to time to expose that. Thirdly, when talking about tribalism we can see which party supporters swim in it. Look at how hoesis was quick to jump into ballzproblem because of a largely inconsequential post (which I do condemn). The post was barely noticable to anyone until they highlighted and started using it as a justification for their divisiveness. These people are evil. Plain and simple. |
Wait oo. Soo adamu garba was expelled from university for being a terrorist. ![]() Chai. Nigeria has suffered sha. These are the kind of people that represent the APC. Nothing good about that devilish party at all. |
izzou:Like! I really don't get how people will be this heartless. You have seen with your eyes how bad this party has ruined nigeria yet you offer yourself as a willing tool to defend them with your life simply because the leader of the failed party is someone who speaks and hears your language. How stupid is that? |
odizeey:Very heartless bastards who have sold their consciences on the alter of ethno-religious sentiments. |
monerozi5590:NONE!!!! All have been terrible!! Absolutely terrible. With the lastest being just slightly better than the last but still terrible nonetheless. |
I don't understand why the ordinary citizens of Nigeria would choose to be wicked towards their fellow nigerians. You all know what the obidients are about, you have numerously heard them cry out from the inception of the movement about how they seek to uproot the entire ruling class that have brought us to where we are as a country. And many of you ordinary citizens who have also experienced the dysfunction of this government in one way or the other and many of you who decided to flee the terrible situation have decided to use yourselves as willing tools and enablers of this same criminals. Perhaps Because you've let tribal and religious affiliations becloud your judgement.. You've allowed politicians successfully make you see your fellow nigerians as different from you. Batists ronu ooo. |
BlueRayDick:I know exactly how you feel bro, but I'm too much of an idealist to surrender to a hopeless situation. I refuse to give in to them. And I choose to even see the success in our failure. We might not have gotten our main goal yet but our successes are visible for all to see. Winning state house of assemblies, governors, senators, house of rep seats all for a movement that didn't start a year ago. Oufff, I'll take my winnings while fighting for justice. |
monerozi5590:My friend stop talking nonsense. That something went from worst to worse doesn't mean it shouldn't still be condemned for being very bad. That armed robbers used to kill and Rob their victims on a particular road and now they're only beating and robbing their victims bit not killing doesn't still make it okay. Stop telling nigerians to accept mediocrity. This election was one of the worst elections conducted in any democracy. People's voices were truncated. After people stood in line for hours to vote, someone somewhere just decided to conviniently wipe those results away and you're telling the sufferers of that blatant injustice to shit up and get on with it. That exposes the kind of mindset you guys have. |
Itsrm:Yes of course, the victims of gross injustice should shut up and move on! What a wonderful take from a person who actively supports a marauding murderer. |
Eazzii:Very simple question oo. ![]() Donjazet2: |
Eazzii:Don't forget that this foolish individual claimed to actually be outside this country oo. ![]() I guess it's cool to be thousands of kilometers from the country while supporting evil because you aren't here to face the consequences. |
Nah. Obidients are something else. ![]() Twitter na something else. you must dey laugh dey go.
