plat0:Unless you mean, biggest "tyrant". Because I won't call what wike has done "winning". He has emerged as the biggest tyrant in Nigerian politics especially in the south. Let's see as events progress from here. Thank God wike never smelled that presidency ticket. |
Time reveals all!! I spoke, and they said I harvested victim mentality! Victim mentality are the ones whose shops have been burnt today. Donjazet2: |
DissTroy:You need to see me laughing while reading this post. Thank God you finally got the memo, because no attacks here pain me pass the ones from obidients who I believe we share same vision for this country. I kept hammering on the hateful tribal and xenophobic narratives being peddled by the tinubu camp especially in Lagos and you viciously attacked me, even going to personal levels. When I repeatedly pointed out dayos' motivations for his posts, the same posts you are now speaking out against, you screamed at me to stop. Shebi you are finally seeing what I was saying? It don clear for eye finally. Just see what mc oluomo is saying today. https://www.nairaland.com/7617860/hope-obi-supporters-believe-now Finally it's just funny seeing you finally make this post after this. DissTroy: |
liveLongNprospa:Just look at what tinubu's own media director is saying for God's sake. As in, these people are no longer hiding their hatred at all. ![]() Just look at the widespread ethnic profiling yesterday. I've always said it, maybe my brashness in delivering my messages is what makes people attack me when I speak the truth. This was exactly what Gbadamosi warned about which I was vehemently attacked for. Now imagine for a second that tinubu wasn't declared or sanwo lost. What do you think will happen in Lagos to igbo people?
|
Surprise in delta state. Wow! |
Amoto94:You made a generally sound post but that last 2 lines dent the messages. Different people have different interpretations of their religions, hence moral standards are very different. When you say "nation under God", what exactly does that mean? A nation where Allah allows men to marry underage girls because the holy prophet did it? Or industries like casinos, alcohols, pork processing and many others are heavily restricted because of religious beliefs?? Once religion is introduced into any argument, it dilutes the substance of the argument because of the sheer impractility of those values. |
Hmm. LP pulling a surprise in delta state. Asaba coming through for Pela. Hmmm.. This would be the icing on the cake after abia and Enugu. |
Maybe it's the brashness with which I push my messages that make it not resonate. Because it's goddamn funny seeing people who vociferously condemned me for exposing certain things here now turn around to act surprised and now lamenting, seeing what I was saying and warning against for a such a long time. Time truly reveals all. ![]() |
iamoyindamola:I agree. |
Once upon a time when he actually criticized presidents. Although this time with an evil agenda.

Know the mindset of the person you argue with. He says and I quote, "these people are born with crime DNA embedded in them" "Beasts of no culture". Raumdetuer.

A Lagos voter today.

Smh. There is a reason I always posted these.

DontBullshitMe:Because life is not an individual solely. There are many aspects to life. Despite Nigeria's problems, there have been many who got to live a long, prosperous, fulfilled and happy life in Nigeria here. And despite Nigeria's problems, there are still prospects for the country. Nigeria has the best entertainment industry in Africa. Nigeria is gradually setting up it's IT sector and industry to be one of the best in Africa. Nigeria's democracy while not perfect still shows promises of growth. Yes we have situations unique to us that mwke it look like we are tethering on the brink of being a failed state. But there are still places one could point to as evidence of growth. Lagos is developing, Abuja is developing rapidly, portharcourt is developing. More african migrants from surrounding countries are moving into Africa. I am someone who personally decries the political fortunes of this country but I can tell you that myself and my family are doing well in our private endeavors inspire of those aforementioned challenges. Again, I'm not against the idea of emigration at all. But I think, that throwing the blanket statement that everybody must japa is truly not a good message. I think it is very condescending in nature, shown by the very fact that that is an impossibility. Like no matter how you shout japa for 100 years, even 20% of people cannot do that. |
[quote author=OasisX post=121843389][font=serif]Elliot likely to be returned. the celebration of this sham elections have begun. Baba oasis no waste time at all. Be silent in the face of the widespread violence, voter suppression and voter intimidation of a particular demography, then rush to start celebrating the results of this sham exercise while people are still lamenting the deeply flawed process. and then called those hurt by the nonsense irresponsible. Rinse and repeat. |
Elder0001:Hence why I don't rate these japa messages. First of all, it's a statistical impossibility for even 50% of inhabitants of an area to emigrate to another area, moreso one thousands of kilometers away. The grasses isn't always greener as depicted. I'm yet to hear any of our esteemed abroadians tell us or narrate a serious difficulty encountered there. That of course is an anomaly. Not sharing challenges and problems which they encounter in their daily lives. An argument could be made that someone living in a serene estate in Abuja is more comfortable that one living in the inner cities of Chicago where gangsterism and gun violence is the order of the day. An average of 500 people a day are killed to gun violence in Chicago alone. Now, of course I'm not saying our country is better, I'm highlighting the differences in individual races. Western countries have problems also unique to them. I guess my main point is that throwing out a blanket statement again and again that everybody must leave their country is really not a good message. It's very nature is condescending. |
GloriousGbola:Thanks for sharing this thread. Never knew it was in existence. Let me peruse through. |
Na now day break for many of una. ![]() What I was shouting since!!!!!! Any time I spoke about this tribalism issue, people said I loved being controversial. Now una don see wetin I dey talk. The fruit don ripe finish. |
Please is there anybody on this thread with real life experience of using solar or knowing someone who uses solar himself in his own house? I don't mean, "theoretical calculations". Like real life usage. I would like to know the person's experience. The challenges, the benefits. The overall difference from nepa and gen. Long term challenges. Anybody? |
Segedinho:Jesus, am I evil for smiling happily at one's death?? Is this shadenfraude in display? That moment a criminal who inflicts pain on innocent victims and causes pandemonium all around is sent to his maker to take stock of his life. I hope this video goes widespread so that other tinubu thugs will be demotivated to go out there and cause problem. |
DontBullshitMe:But it was indeed, rigged widespread. There have been soo many different revelations made in random states. Soo many disparities in results announced by inec and what was seen from original results. Even kogi and gombe was not spared. A recent twitter post detailed the disparities Obi got in okene, kogi state to that which was announced. Same in gombe state. So yes, there is a legitimate messaging there. But indeed there should have found a way of ensuring the base was still gingered. I personally believe that a show of force via peaceful protests would have built a solidarity cry which would sustain that momentum and perhaps create a siege mentality that drives people to the polls. With hope of us rectifying what was done. |
BlueRayDick:The way you continue to press my balls for this endsars matter. ![]() Oga Abeg free my scrotal sac na. ![]() Anyways I believe I have fully documented my thought processes concerning that endsars issue. Coming on the heels of the black lives matter movement which I had initially supported but which ended up being devolving into something else entirely. I was extremely apprehensive and skeptical of the endsars protest and at a point even believed that it was yahoo boys who just wanted free reign to scam more. But anyways, I think you can agree with me in the end that the term "massacre" was severely overstated. Right? One person dead is very unfortunate and shouldn't happen but in the context of that night, people were alluding that more than 50 youths had just been shot dead by the soldiers. Something we now know for sure wasn't true. |
GloriousGbola:I remember calling for us to be the voices of reason on this thread and exchange our ideological differences in a matured way moving forward only for you to ignore it and still insult me from the sidelines. ![]() |
DontBullshitMe:Absolutely spot on! Obi has been lassie-fair in his actions post presidential elections. Even many obidients were eager to share their genuine polling unit results on twitter to aid his claims. People started saying we should stop exposing these things on twitter. That we're revealing everything. Now everyone is on Siddon look mode. The energy isn't just there. |
Emaprince:Come on my dear respected elder brother, I you are in Lagos, then governance concerns you! Is that not what we've been fighting for all these while? Please aburo, vote for your local representative and your own governor. Please 🙏🙏 |
nihilistjnr:Nihilist is this an indirect shot at me and if it is may I know why?? There is a recorded history of you using this direct line to attack me previously, so I want to know if you are taking a shot at me today unprovoked? |
Spy360:Of course the obidients are undoubtedly the big winners of this election. What we achieved is unheard of in any part of the world.. Labor party in 2019 ; 5 thousand votes. Labor party in 2023; 9 million supporters (including those disenfranchised around the country and numbers manipulation). All in 7 months. As of June, lots of skeptics and pessimists said obi's decamping to labor from PDP signalled his sojourn into political oblivion. Called him a joker. But look what he has achieved in just 7 months. Many senators and house of reps while winning the most states out of any other candidate (including rivers and akwaibom). We have achieved more than was envisaged by the skeptics. A new party winning tinubu in Lagos is no small deal. It's a major accomplishment for a structureless party. |
The news of widespread voter apathy is very sad to see and I blame Obi. He has been an extremely poor mobilizer. Throughout the campaign he has literally been pushed by the Obidients. He doesn't know how to galvanize and tap into the feelings of his own base. He was basically robbed of his votes and rather than call for peaceful protests and be a rallying point, he kept deciding to douse the flames of his supporters. Many Obidient voters are highly demoralised, the energy is dissipating because of the hopelessness of the situation. Look at Lagos, everyone knew what to expect today, everyone knew that thugs would show themselves today, how can't you take proactive measures to ensure that your base is protected. Why not call some powerful people to mount pressure on security agencies to do the right thing? How don't you reach out to APC stalwarts to get the top brass to speak out against their boys or just do something, anything! About security of your base? Well however it turns out, I personally can beat my chest and say "I did my best". I played my own role in our own democracy, in trying to change our country for good. The last 8 years was one of radical propaganda. Let's see where we go from here. |
Agberos walking in groups going door to door threatening the neighborhood that if they don't vote APC, they should stay indoors. When people were talking about this government being a government of agberos, I thought it was severely overstated. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kR6BgJvGf6I&si=EnSIkaIECMiOmarE |
OasisX:My very respected elder brother, I just dey ask question na? ![]() |
I want to know the legal nature of this stuff sha. Some people post public officials numbers or addresses online. Are these details legally supposed to be public properties since they are public officials or is against the law?
|
Obidients! You know what to do.
