SportsWhy Nigerian Football Is Comatose. by Donjowebs(op): 9:30pm On Dec 15, 2016
When Amaju Pinnick was clandestinely and corruptly elected as NFF President in Warri using the backing of then Delta state Governor and inlaw, I cringed that night at the amount of state money spent to install him. A lot of persons saw him as the Messiah Nigerian football has been missing and waiting for, peeps spoke and gloated about how he would turn the the NFF to the next FA or CBF with his supposed contacts and connections to bring the much needed private sector funding the Glass House so need, fast forward from that night and he has been Nigeria football's worst nightmare aided and abetted by a certain Min. Of sports.
Today the Super Falcons are being owed monies due them for winning the AWCON (wouldn't want to dwell on other issues in Nigeria's football) which is an embarrassment of monumental proportions. Pinnick promised private sector funding where the NFF wouldn't depend on government funding which was his "manifesto" to be being elected if you call it that;
The "successes" recorded by Pinnick in Delta State were mainly as a result of heavy funding from the state government and its allies and not via any tangible revenue drives or marketing by him.
He becoming NFF President was more self-serving than the interest of Nigerian football, Pinnick sees the NFF as his vehicle to achieving his dream of being an executive member of CAF and FIFA as exhibited by his most recent visit to the Ghana Football Association chairman to negotiate how he can achieve the earlier stated aim rather than growing Nigerian football.
This singular act alone shows Nigerians Pinnick doesn't give a damn about our football but his ambitions alone, else he would have been bothered about the girls and the present embarassment he and his co-travellers in the Glass House are conducting right now.
Fellow Nigerians! Enough is enough, time to stand up against mediocrity in every sphere of our national life!

AgricultureRe: Anambra Stone Free Rice Ready For Export by Donjowebs(m): 11:07am On Aug 06, 2016
Inasmuch as I am elated and overjoyed by this development at a time like in our national life, I don't think exporting this product now without first satisfying local demand and consumption is a move in the right direction.

PoliticsRe: Why We Ignored Card Reader Reports In Election Cases – S’court by Donjowebs(m): 9:59pm On Feb 06, 2016
Sincerely,to me the all the Supreme Court has said is "technicalities". The onus is now on INEC, the NA and probably the Executive to push through and/or repeal laws that will empower the Card Readers. From these interpretations the apex court has just opened a blank cheque for electoral impunity.
PoliticsRe: Jonathan: 'Don't Handover', An African Leader Urged Me After I Lost by Donjowebs(m): 10:04pm On Feb 02, 2016

It is not a normal thing in Africa, most african leaders don't concede defeat and relinquish power when it comes to electing a new president.
. What I meant was it is "normal" for African heads of state to hold on to power at all cost.

PhonesIs The New Glo Data Plan A Fraud? by Donjowebs(op): 8:54am On Dec 30, 2015
I subscribed to Glo's new monthly data plan of 1k for 1.5G on the 19th of December for my lil niece, but by 27th 1.5G has gone to 63mb! I am at a loss how this happened, I have been calling their customer care reps who seem to not have a clue to addressing my complaints but directing me to call another number 444 to lay my complaint. Has any Nairalander had this experience and what is the solution, abi the 1.5G na scam?
