My preference was Prof Yemi Osinbajo and his message of hope last night reinforced my faith in what is possible in Nigeria.

Someone gave Prof Osinbajo the political platform to showcase his depth. That person is Bola Tinubu who was never my type of politician.

In choosing between Atiku, Tinubu and Obi, I will go for Tinubu. His records show clearly that he has vision and he assembles great team of technocrats without necessarily leaving the less cerebral behind. Politics is all about numbers, built on a structure of alliances and trust, and he fully understands it.

That's how I am consoling myself with opened eyes, not emotion.

We can't exonorate the school for its negligence in one way or the other.

But not sure you read the press release. The girls were kept on the 11th floor while the boys were kept on the 5th floor. How does that translates to cohabitation

Normal me I don't like to watch such video but because I wanted to learn as parent. I had to watch the video. It such a shame that the mother of the girl will come to the public space and claimed that the daughter was raped.

Since yesterday I can't rap my end on while on earth will make a small girl to be total naked in the presence of other boys and give a boy different styles.

My conclusion is that we all have failed these children, the level of moral decaying in the society is responsible for this act. I'm not saying this is totally strange as it happening among children especially those who have people abused but for the small girl to go that naked in the presence of others and rocked a boy at that age it so appalling.

We need to do more as a society to redirect these children. The parents, the schools and the society at large failed those children and we should all take responsibility.

It's totally clear that the young girl has been constantly abused and the parent didn't know. It's obvious, she wasn't a virgin at that age and the mom didn't pick the red flag. That small girl need serious rehabilitation and counselling. I'm certain an adult has been constantly molesting that small girl and she has become so wild. Even some of us who are married for years don't constantly engaged in those pattern of sex

THE SWIMMING LESSON OCCURENCE
My kids school built a swimming pool and added it to the schools club options
I decided to enroll them as I was already taking them on weekends for the same
"Why I made up my mind that my kids must know how to smim was a job I could no land on graduation from the uni in the fossil fuel sector because I could not swim'
On the first day of swimming less I daughter's uniform was misplaced by her and she brought home another person's.
I would not want to go into the details but I took it up with the school and the uniform was replace with a new one .this was because her missing uniform very much new cos it was purchase that same term and the one she brought home was very old worn out and short
Please dont get me wrong, even if the uniform she brought home was to be new I would still have know because because I prepare my kids for school every morning .and i would never have allowed her to wear it. But without going into the detail it was not a nice occurrence for the owner nor a palatable occurrence to the head of their elementary my daughter is going to be 9yrs by mid year and this happened this term they are just on holiday from.
I spelt it out to the schools management that they were negligent and that there were no structure or standard operating procedure on ground to forestall, control and prevent reoccurrence of such in the future.
Not to sound too unsupportive I guided them on control as a pmp and safety expert.
The following day I went to check out the pools and I concluded on my next string of actions.
I stopped my kid from staying back for the smim classes and talked them out of feeling deprived my making them come to terms with the flaws I have identified.
And the agreed with me
The school call on weither they to stay back on the smim day ,as they dont understand why I will pay and then decline further service,but I just gave excuse of the need for my kids to rest .they can take the money
As far as am concerned, they cant fully protect my kids and I dont need anybody's sorry because of 50k.
I signed up my kids for a 2 weeks stretch at a place where I will permanently station my help .and everyone is ok
PLEASE LET US TAKE RESPONSIBLITY
MANAGE WHAT YOU CAN BECAUSE NO ONE AND NO LIFE IS PERFECT,
BUT KNOW YOUR CHILD

I don't even believe the hoax about referring to kids as people who do not know what they are doing. That is a complete lie to me. When I was about 4 years, I knew everything I was doing. When I say everything, I mean every damn thing. If not, why do I hide when I want to steal meat from the pot at night. If I did not know it was wrong, then why was I hiding each time I did it. It was because I didn't want to get caught.

I think something is lost in parenting this days, those days when morals are being imbibed in a child with strict punishment if u misbehave, spear the rod and spoil the child comes to mind..you wey grow up during the era wey parents and teachers get same punishment strategy , u do anyhow for house u collect , u reach school , u still collect..Parents should also stop exposing their children to watching BBN on tv, this things are not meant for them to watch ...that video wasn't a sign that the culprits are just doing for the first time..the girl is already a pro and the boy ehn na another thing entirely

We have very short memory

How could we easily forget what lead to Nigerian youths shutting down the while country in a protest against bad governance and to everybody's surprise, the hiding of palliative by the current administration

All of a sudden, we have forgotten those who we fought against and are now supporting same people, campaigning for them to remain in power

How disappointed and irritated I always get when I see people campaigning for the likes of Atiku, Tinubu and Osinbajo who either took part in bringing this current government or being part of it
