₦airaland Forum

My account is @donocso http://twitter.com/donocso I will follow anyone who follows me and mention my account with the #Nairaland_Followback_Train

Why do you have to mention @donocso and #Nairaland_Followback_Train before I followback?

Simple - I don't want to follow the free 25

#Nairaland_Followback_Train is a campaign by @donocso to help Nigerians get more twitter followers.

The sweetness of Twitter is in following and getting a followback, most people like to be followed but never followback. it will be only useful to follow such accounts if they get you more followers or if their tweets are highly beneficial to your career.

The aim of this campaign is to list or mention Nigerian tweeps that always followback.

This is how it works, I will start by listing some tweeps that always followback, you follow them, they follow you back it becomes even.

The upside: when you follow 100 tweeps on twitter and they follow you back, you will get 25 or more followers with no strings attached.

The downside: some tweeps will lie that they followback without ever doing so.

Please use #Nairaland_Followback_Train to engage your followers and get more follower, follow anybody that uses the tag and unfollow them if they do not followback after two weeks.
I'm on a project to track the traffic in a website (I didn't host) and report the traffic data.

How will I do this? I've tried using Google web analytics but it seems I can't use the tracking code on a website that I don't have its source code.

Please gurus in the house, is there a way I can get traffic report on an anonymous website?
Use moz.com or alexa.com paid service.

Abuja Web and App Developers will sure stand out. only the brave will take the lead. something big coming up soon (2015)

After th meeting I was contacted by an agency founded by the government for the development of ICT and technology in the FCT.

These guys are like the cchub of lagos, they are founded by the government, they have resource persons and institutions from around the world whom are ready to partner with them and fund their projects.

They have asked me to invite the members of Abuja Web App Club to leverage and work with the agency. By things you stand to get invitation from them to work on projects of them and their partners in or outside Nigeria (all expense paid); you can also get founding from them to work on your own projects.

As I write they have some programs for this january that we might be invited to.

Am waiting on them to update me.

PN: I have followed all those that dropped their twitter handle here, please follow back to get update if possible create a list.

I will try to keep you guys updated via Nairaland, Twitter, Whatsapp and Email.

We agreed to meet once in three months...

To collaborate on new and unique projects...

To work as a team on an open source project...

Our next meeting would hold in the third week of March 2014

orbitame2011: How was the meeting and probably outcome,to sensitize people that were not there.I'm just reading about the meeting today.THANKS for the good work.

It was the first meetings of the Abuja Web App Club. The turn up was not encouraging but the impact of the meeting was of great value to those present.

We deliberated on different reasons and benefits of having an active web and app developers community. We shared personal experience, challenges and goals.

We created an atmosphere that gave birth to new ideas and ambition.

We exchanged contacts and wished farewell to each other.

After the cut is a photo of Digitite and myself at the meeting.

Pythonian99: Ask Edsger Dijkstra

Preboy: tanks dude, I was about adding it to the list, God will bless you for ur good deed

God will bless you more

Pythonian99: "The use of COBOL cripples the mind; it's teaching should therefore be regarded as a criminal offence"

How do you mean?

Web Master's HTML Editor
It works fine for html, css, javascript, php, and text editing. It comes with auto code completion, syntax highligting, built in preeview and goes for $4.something on playstore.

It will hold

Nice job

adewasco2k: I disagree!!!!!

How is that done? You come up with a thread that we all should drop our twitter handles we did, I am not sure I saw any of your follow or tweet.

Then next thing I am seeing is a meeting?
