Politics › Re: Justice Ademola’s Acquittal: Presidency Frowns As FG Appeals Judgment by donpapa(m): 11:40am On Apr 08, 2017 |
Jaideyone: foolish opinion. as much as babachir and aba kyari are corrupt and I feel they should be sacked, there are no evidences of corruption against fashola and amaechi. anyone can make statements to implicate both ex-governors but rivers state has refused to publish proofs for Nigerians to see. the corruption in the executive right now is minute compared to what is going on in the senate. yes buhari is not perfect and he needs to get rid of babachir, Abba kyari, daura lawal and some other people but the NASS is giving us a much bigger problem by victimising magu and Ali for doing their jobs. it's a big shame. the same senate you are defending has refused to make their budgets public for several years now. these senators have refused to pass the PIB and other bills that will help us grow as a nation. they are only concerned about Ali's uniform and other useless bills. the judiciary has also been helping the big thieves to escape justice while sending phone thieves to death by hanging. there is no corruption bigger than that. a judge spent equivalent of 20yrs salary in one year while claiming it's his inheritance from his father and grand father who were also judges. how did the father and the grand father make such amount of money? we all know the law of the country doesn't permit civil servants in the country to do any other job or business aside farming. so how did his father and grand father who were civil servants leave 400million for him? this same judge has sentenced people to ten years for crimes of less than a million naira.
it's a shame and a big one at that. I've always been an advocate of young minds staying back in the country to make things work but how are things going to get better in this country when even the judges that are very crucial to the fight against corruption are allowing thieves to walk free? why do you think the efcc couldn't secure a conviction against ibori while the UK was able to do so? why was odili able to get an injunction against being investigated since he left office in 2007? why did the nnpc GMD have the guts to still approach a court to claim his loot back after 9.8million dollars was found in his house? remember he claimed the money was a gift but he has not been able to tell us those that gifted him the money?
the executive is not perfect but buhari is on the right track. the NASS and the judiciary are the ones currently standing in the way of the progress of this country Hypocrite! Is there any substantive and concrete evidence(s) against Justice Ademola? If the two governors are not corrupt based on what you wrote up there, you have no proof the judge is corrupt too. You should blame the investigators/prosecutors for failing to do there job. Perhaps you should tell me the number of corruption cases this present administration has won barring the medial trial and unnecessary brouhaha up and down. They kept losing court cases due to there ineffectiveness while the tax payers money is at stake. I reckon, Buhari isn't fight corruption! He's only after his perceived enemies.. |
Politics › Re: Justice Ademola’s Acquittal: Presidency Frowns As FG Appeals Judgment by donpapa(m): 10:23am On Apr 08, 2017 |
Jaideyone: it's a shame. a judge spent equivalent of 20yrs salary in one year yet we was discharged and acquitted.
the judiciary is our number two problem after the senate No, the judiciary is number THREE (with the executive and the senate occupying one and two respectively). If PMB is serious with his corruption fight, let him start from the executive. You can't claim to be fighting corruption when you have Amechi, Fashola, Babachir Lawal, Abba Kyari et al in your cabinet! Buhari's presidency should just stop this charades of travesty. Its taking us 30years backward.. |

I sight you.... Flets: Posterity will judge GEJ fairly.
Providence brought you this far sir, Congrats for writing your name in gold.
Your best wishes for this country was never hidden as we saw in your achievements in almost all sectors, roads, bridges, railways, agriculture, automobile, alamajiri schools, new universities, fertilizer and ghost worker scam elimination, freedom of press, FOI, free and fair elections, power sector.....etc
Even until late, you kept Nigeria first and saved Nigeria from impending anarchy that could have trailed a tribunal or election rejection even when you could.
You were not as forceful as Nigerians wished because of our years of military rule. We lacked patience to see your policies come into tangible fruition. You were grossly misunderstood and propaganda from the opposition camp fuelled the government apathy of the impatient populace.
I will always maintain that you are Nigeria's best president. We were few months away from implementing the confab report that would have enthroned true federalism which would have set us on the path of recovery and greatness.
I am certain posterity will judge you fairly. Through all the insults, you never reacted. You gave all freedom like we've never seen before.
IF WE MUST PRACTICE DEMOCRACY, YOU ARE THE TEMPLATE.
I don't think you lost this election, you are just a victim of a sectional majority and Nigeria actually lost you instead.
I know we Nigerians are an impatient lot with unachievable high hopes for the incoming government. In few months time, after our hopes have been met with reality. ... then we shall sing your praises.
Whenever the history of this country will be written, your section will be in gold.
Go with your head up high, even you opponents would not have taken the step you took on this journey.
You remain my HERO. |
Politics › Re: "We Steal Because You Never Stoned Us For It" - Governor, Rotimi Amaechi by donpapa(m): 2:35pm On Dec 15, 2013 |
Amaechi may not be saint, but he has been making sense to some large extent. the things he complains about concerning governance, the wanton loot by this govt. is what has turned him a black sheep and why the presidency wants to see him down at all cost.... just look at what is happening in Thailand right now. Look at the public pressure on the leader of that nation. the people even cut power to the PM's office. She dissolves cabinet and election is set for February next year. peoples power counts.. majority of Nigerians are so improverished and are used to suffering and corruption that they do not want a change from our elected leaders. this is the reason why Nigerian political terrain is full of thieves, thugs and clueless retards. If not why must some people still have problem with what Amaechi has said in this report? |

Chitalu scored and outrageous 107 goals in all competitions in a single season- a record that is still uninterrupted. Why is Godfrey Chitalu's record never recognised? One million dollar question.
