APC wins in Alkaleri Local Government, amidst mass vote cancellation Results from Alkaleri as presented by Professor Simon Madugu from ATBU. Total Registered voters: 107, 072 Total Accredited voters: 27, 575 ADC- 110 APC – 13,-089 APP – 413 DA – 36 GPN – 2, 225 KP – 27 MMN – 34 MPN 32 NNPP 1899 PDC – 88 PDP -6, 245 SDP – 265 Total Valid votes – 24, 463 Rejected Votes – 1,220 Total votes cast 25, 683 Cancellation was recorded in 8 wards amounting to 40 polling units; and 16,298 votes affected. Reasons for cancellation were fracas, over voting, and non-usage of card readers. Party agents blame massive cancellation on failure of card readers few hours after voting commenced. The agent of PDP at the collation centre, Samaila Burga, insisted that failure to provide alternative to failed card readers may push people to insist they must vote even without card readers. He also alluded that in some areas in Alkaleri, election did not commence till 3pm due to late arrival of election materials. “We are saying this, not for immediate measures to be taken, but for avoidance of future occurrence, because if it happens people may be forced to react.” |

AkpatiOzu1:Liar. PDP was able to garner only 21% of the votes not 25%. Expect that to reduce to about 8% when it would be Buhari against an outsider. As for that of Cross River, APC was able to secure 25.1% of the total valid votes. Expect it to remain so or even increase during the Presidential polls which would be between two Northerners. You should be worried that Buhari who wasn't able to secure 7% of the votes in this area in 2015 can now boast of 25.1% of votes for his party there in 2018. With this result, it's safe to say Buhari would have the required 25% in all the South South and Southeastern States. |
APC got 25% in Cross River State? Thought some guys said Buhari's (2019) defeat in the South South and Southeast would be worse than that of 2015?! Thought they said they passionately hate APC in this zone?! How come APC was able to garner such votes?! APC has made so much inroad into the South South and South East and I won't be surprised if Buhari secures 40% of the votes here come 2019 as against the 5% they got in 2015. |
sarrki:If his constituents feel he has represented them well, they can still give him a return ticker. But all hands must be on deck to ensure that he isn't made the House Speaker again. |
Hapigirl1:It's an open-secret ballot. BTW, he tried hiding it but VAR was just so fast. It caught him red-handed. ![]() |
HungerBAD:I'm beginning to doubt the genuineness of their findings on Adeosun's discharged certificate. |
Dogara doesn't have any issue with APC. The only problem he's having is his State Governor. APC should find a way to reconcile them. |
The caption of this thread says it all. But why did premium times claim he wasn't allowed to vote? To whip up sentiments as usual?!
|
![]() I concur. |
[s] naijapips04:[/s] Nursery school calculations. APC has lost many territories yet APC' candidates are still defeating PDP's candidates in places where you hitherto thought they (PDP) had gained. Hope you saw how Kwankwaso was booed in Kaduna? Hope you're aware that PDP came distant third in the just concluded Bauchi South by-election? Hope you've not forgotten that two Bauchi APC Senators defected to PDP just last month? Yet APC candidate still won election in that same State. As for Southwest, you don't know anything. So no need arguing with you. If APC could win five States there in 2015 when they had just four Governors, they would lose the Southwest to PDP now that they have the entire six State Governors? Abeg, what do you smoke? |
klax:Lol... You guys would have claimed they all voted APC because they didn't want to embarrass Buhari in his presence. I was expecting about five people to vote PDP but hell no. BTW, this is Fulani Vs Fulani not Fulani Vs Ijaw. The APC and PDP's candidates are even brothers. |
naijapips04:In 2011 when Buhari had 1.6m votes under CPC in Kano, Kwankwaso and Ganduje were in PDP contesting for the governorship seat on a joint ticket while the then sitting Governor, Shekarau was in ANPP and was the flag-bearer of his party for the Presidential polls. Then he had nobody in Kano other than the masses. Today, he has a sitting Governor, two Senators, majority of the House of Reps members from Kano and majority of the State House of Assembly members. So how do you expect him to lose there? Their defection has nothing to do with Buhari's chances. Besides, you guys claimed Buhari has lost Bauchi when two APC Senators defected to PDP from there. Now, APC has won another Senate seat there while PDP came distant third. Truth is that most of those guys have no electoral value. Buhari already has the whole Southwest, Northwest and Northeast save Taraba in his pocket. He only needs to win (in) Edo and three other States plus FCT in the North Central, which he would easily get. But boys go wail till 2023 sha ![]() |
2019 Presidential election has already been won and lost. Dunno why the PDP guys are still being hopeful. Please how do you guys intend to defeat a man that's so loved by the masses? Even if PDP is allowed to field seven candidates on a joint ticket, Buhari will still defeat them. |
vanbonattel:They had 100,000 votes rather. |
Butterflyle0:Lol. That mistake would be corrected come next year. |
They claim Buhari is no longer popular yet he's winning everywhere. Buhari is not in the country at the moment yet his people back home still voted massively for his candidate. PDP managed to get only one vote in Baba's polling unit. Those of you saying Kwankwasiyya has taken over Daura, where are they? Why didn't they vote Kwankwaso's candidate? PS I got the second screenshot from Vanguard to prove to those who would doubt the name of his polling unit.

OfficialAPCNig:So you're celebrating those who don't have PVC's? So funny. Most of you guys insulting this man here on a daily basis don't even have PVC's yet you wanna send him back to "Daura"! Funny lots. Besides, why are you guys even celebrating the so-called 550k decampees even when you know they don't even exist at first let alone have PVC's? I've never seen a Kwankwasiyya cap in Edo State. So where do these "Kwankwasiyya decampees" stay in Edo State? Members of Kwankwasiyya group are not even up to 350k in Kano let alone Edo State. ![]() |
OfficialAPCNig:Lol... They claimed 500k plus people belonging to the Kwankwasiyya group defected from the APC in Edo State. Is that not laughable? The total number of votes cast in Edo State during the 2015 election was barely up to 500k. Where were they then? How come I've never met any Kwankwasiyya all my life in Edo State? Do not be deceived. No such group exists in Edo State.! |
Corrinthians:I already drew the attention of the mods to a similar thread but they refused locking the thread. Oshiomole said "fielded" as in the past participle of "field" but these semi-illiterates thought he said "feeded". They're too dull for my liking. Mynd44, Lalasticlala, you guys can do the needful. |
[s] weyreypey:[/s] Had it been the person booed was Buhari, you would have been telling us how he has been rejected by his brothers up North. Now that it is Kwankwaso, you're saying it was sponsored by el-Rufai. Hypocrisy.! Truth is that even if PDP fields Kwankwaso/Lamido/Atiku/Makarfi/Tambuwal/Dankwambo/Saraki on a joint ticket, a bedridden Buhari would still defeat them in the North. |
We'll not field him or if he must be fielded. Is fielded not correct or what are you guys insinuating? The OP and his cahoots probably thought he said "feeded". You guys are so dull. Lalasticlala, mynd44, please you guys can do justice to this thread. |
onimcee1:So sad bro. Even pool house. What did the inmates do sef ![]() |
