Seems they they just marked "anyhow" or they just dashed out marks as they like.
I was not expecting anything less than 70 in maths and English but I was given or I got 58 and 56 respectively.
I didn't read one question among the chemistry questions, I just picked at random because I was having 11 minutes remaining when I started chemistry, I got 47 in chemistry. imagine.

I dont even know how possible that is, maybe JAMB is just fooling us ni. I'm above 200 though.

Bro that's how it is... imagine I solved thunder and brimstone in physics and I got 4x. My friend guess all his physics questions and got 5x

I doubt his is a good guesser so jamb must be marking sh!t... Thank God for my score sha, they didn't mess with my Bio and English

Thanks bro. It's really painful. The Bio i wrote were recycled questions. After the exam, everybody was testifying about how cheap the Bio was.

JAMB has done it again. Was expecting nothing less than 80 in Bio, but rather they gave me 38. Would have had more than 260 if not for the Bio. I'm hope for an upgrade. The Bio was just too simple (cheapest exam i've wrote so far).

When I told an invigilator, she said I should keep answering it since they haven't logged me out yet, not knowing I was no longer logged on to jamb server. But it still appeared like I was taking the exams until when I tried submitting and I discovered that it wasn't submitting, I told one other invigilator, he said jamb has logged me out since. Meaning most of all I was answering have not been submitting. And it was only my computer in the exam hall that had this fault. Shit_ didn't even log me out the normal way so I could have put in my reg. num back, the time just stopped counting down. Dunno if it was jamb's fault, the computer or mine. [/email]

blv it or not, this is the worst jamb ever. those who haven't written are lucky. Now this is the clue, for those of u about to write, make sure u cross the 300 mark cos whichever result u are seeing out there is minus 100 marks. so when u are expecting 290, it will turnout to be 190.This is more than negative marking.good luck everyone. there was a centre where no one cross 140, so na so Nigerian students con dull? Some dude on myschool was saying the exam was probably marked against a total of 250... now you're saying jamb automatically removes 100 marks of hard earned score.


tho none of both theories seem plausible at the moment buh I'm sure we'll figure out what that hell is jamb's plan

I don't rilly believe in reading ur brains out to pass optionnal exams...sumtins re jst ok initiative demanding...its too much reading dat makes 2 options luk alike.....God himself is incharge of ur scores though, if u have 190's maybe he finks dats wat will benefit ur life or make u wise in one arear of ur life.........I remembered I had 199 twice consecutively.....God knws best

Not reading => Guess work

Reading => Correct answers and being skeptical with some options

Over Reading => Beating IRT's azz

It all depends on your brain's capacity/ability. If your brain can't process large chunks of info at once or at all, then over reading would be "over killing", buh if it can, you're set for life.

the way Jamb 2016 is going... my theory and yours are just wastes, I doubt they even mark the exam anymore. IRT could just be generating random scores that are < 250

I don't wanna give you false hope buh last year my elder bro got 151 via SMS, he was devastated and vowed to forget school. Later, I checked online with my PC and he scored 196, you can imagine the joy.

@PilotOz what is this talk about "Malpractice form" when you use a calculator... did you fill such? if yes what is it like and why is it required

*IRT on our azzes
*2:45mins to answer 250 questions[not even up to a min/question, plus you gotta sovle problems and read passages (maths, physics, chemistry and English)]
*occasional logout(probably exhausting time too)

Hello guys!! there was delay in starting our exams, one elderly man came to address us and asked us to be patient that the delay was dues to the sanitation... we finally got to the hall, the time given for the exam was 2hrs 45mins.. There was no calculator provided but we were asked to use the inbuilt calculator in the computer!! I was unable to use my calculator becos the decimal point was not clicking... I Drew their attention to it and the invigilator just said "if u cannot use a calculator then we cant do anything. We were not provided with any A4 sheet to solve, i used the photocopy of my slip to solve. I got round the trouble of no calculator by asking the guy sitting next to me to use his calculator for me.. All i did was to tell him the figures.
The computer occassionally logged out itself, sending u back to the home page to re-enter ur reg no(re-entering ur reg no would take u back to where u stopped though) i was able to use my calculator later on by clicking on the maximize bar in the calc app. I got the tip off frm a kind invigilator. I had 5 mins left on my comp and i was at question 40 in chem, i quickly annoited my fingers with the spirit of guessing, not minding the silly software jamb implemented to prevent guessing. And i submitted with 57sec to go.
Questions on last days at forcadoes were difficult, pls read that novel well. less calc in phy, more theory in chem and phy. for eng, pls read past question frm 2002-2007 and u're gud to go. pls pardon any grammar error. As at now, i haven't seen my result yet.

@Bolded, when I proposed this idea, I was almost boiled in oil, hanged and made to face a firing squad. Shebi una don see, jamb is a bunch load of disappointment.... Take a chance with them at your own peril
