Ohh my God.. When I first saw the energy you put to get some info here, I thought you were gunning for good schools like The University of first choice & Nation's pride(Unilag), Oba awon uni(OAU), U.I and the rest but NOT knowing its NDU.. I first thought its Notre Dame Univeristy whereas its Niger Delta university(University of militant),. See don't waste your money and time, that school isn't yet accredited to award an acceptable degree, you will understand , most especially in future if you wanna apply for an Msc abroad or you wanna evaluate your transcript through naces body such as WES , IERF, ECE, etc, your transcript gonna be bounce back or term as fake..You better go to Usmanu Danfodio University(UDU), its far better than that militant University.. Ask any of those JTF personnel, or Mopol31(Asaba),Mopol51(oghara) or mopol49 personnel on special duties in Niger delta..Ask them the number of militants from NDU they have killed.. They will just roast you like chicken with their riffles

I don talk my own ooo.. Donpre
Lol... sometimes(most times) I wanna kill you, other times you do actually make a point. Well you're right, the skul is young, barely 16 years old, buh I'm looking for a MBBS degree, as such any skul approved by MDCN is good to go.

Anyway I've lived in Bayelsa for some years, its not as bad as you make it sound, bayelsa is peaceful, no militant stuff (its been ages anyone used the word 'militant') cultism is on a steady increase tho buh militancy is gone.... I've also been to NDU, the skul seems okay, just not as popular as the ones you mentioned, buh then its not a bad skul

Thanks for your concern tho, I appreciate, I still haven't made a choice yet, I can still go for those universities you mentioned, buh then those universities won't make me the best doctor.... its really nice of you to act a little like a human, just stop the derailing/trolling and I'd most probably offer you the chilled origin we keep for visitorswink

I really haven't seen anyone that's done it.. Hey bro, which school r u planing to change to? made up ur mind yet?
Its just frustrating, I really need to change my institution, I would have to check the jamb office over here this week, preferably on Saturday, work won't let me off till then, I just pray jamb gives me good news by then

about the school, 100% of the people I asked about their opinion of both schools choosed NDU, and stated very convincing reasons to back it up... so my choice is most probably NDU, tho I'm still open to any other good uni till I get the COC form

BTW, Where have you hiding?... don't tell me its work again

Nice one bro... Greetings...

How's everything with you..?

Concluded? Ah mean on dha choice to make..?
just the guy ultron needs, plz do well to debrief him on everything, you might just have a genius as a coursemate come next semester

About me, well things re gud, Easter was tha bomb (Happy Easter by the way), it stole me from my books for a while, reading continues by exactly 12:01am.... as for the choice, I'm still indecisive buh everybody(family & friends) keeps saying NDU would be better, so I'm more inclined to choose NDU. Still open for AAU, if the price is reduced

is AAU a good place 2 study medicine.....and what teaching hospital do they use
I think your questions would be well answered over here https://www.nairaland.com/2766922/ambrose-alli-university-ekpoma-aau

Anyway, from what I've read do far, as long as the school is accredited, then you'll be alrite... A good medic isn't as a result of his choice of school, its more about his own input towards building himself.

Also I hear AAU has 2 teaching hospitals... check the thread for more info

@rexmania and Jlakeside
you guys realise that you have the entire ROMANCE SECTION for your wooing or whatever d fvck you call what you're doing. so why the childish act of trespassing? you realize people here are planning towards a bright future and most(if not all) of us are being distracted by your childish act. Well it seems the purpose of this thread has been defeated, people who wanna help or wanna drop important info are no longer here, to dat I say KUDOS!!!! Hope you guys re proud of yourselves, i would definitely persuade the President to give you guys awards, and then medals, its not easy

on a more curious note, I'm surprised Seun and his mods haven't done anything, not even hiding the posts. Well I'm leaving anyway, I've got a putme I gotta ace.... Do have a nice day y'all!!!grin

rjek:
thanks, but she is from bayelsa. don't u think dey will consider her?
some of those universities have less than 200 aspirants and need to admit at least 50, considering the mass failure, only about 100 would write putme, thus making her chances quite high, even as a non-indigene. They will admit her if she scores high

buh on the other hand, assuming 50% of about 600 NDU Eng$Lit didn't make the cut off mark (180) due to the mass failure, then if she can bag the putme with a high score, coupled with the fact that she is an indigene [and if she knows any guardian angel in the higher ups]…… she might just be admitted to NDU

its her choice tho.... those Eastern universities would give her a better chance tho

@besto, my friend scored 182 in jamb. she wants to buy change of course form and change of institution to ndu to study English and literary studies. Is she good to go?
Eng and Lit is kinda competitive now since its a substitute for mass com and surprisingly NDU is starting to have high number of aspirants for the course.... anyway, eastern schools like ABSU, ANSU, EBSU have less applicants, if she doesn't mind the high cost, and the fact that they're located in the East, her chances re better there

I'm a 400l medical student in Lasu though I did a first degree in OOU, BSc Anatomy. I entered through normal Jamb, I didn't take d. E form. I must say, going through the two schools, LASUTH is better than OOUTH. My last school fees was 37,500(hostel fees inclusive with 24 hours power supply ) . Though it differs with class but the highest would be in final year that's 70 something thousand. So financially it's good for the quality.
does lasu take "preferred choice" applicants?.... something similar to second choice

well since jamb is the one delaying the forms, they'll have to extend the time frame also.... Plus Putme wouldn't start until WAEC is over (sometime in May), that's give us the whole of April to be done with the change of course ish.

I wonder tho, hw come online sources like myschool claim to be able to do the COC?undecidedhuh

I doubt jamb would not release COC forms, cus they make extra doe from it. I think the protests and issues with jamb is what's derailing the COC forms.... Hopefully, next week the forms will be out

Good one oga besto.... keep em coming

I hope 250 as jamb score (non-indigene) would be enough to get admitted to study medicine?

BTW..... Whatcha mean by
Some other things that should be noted to this category of people is that the admission percentage goes this way 40% is strictly in conjunction with jamb ‘’merit list’’ that is why majority of bayelsans get admitted in merit list owning to the fact that jamb is the sole owner of the catchment policy then the rest 60% comes solely from the school management as business comes into place here because non indigenes are actual the finance of the system
