RotrEmmanuel: no you are wrong. All military personnel are soldiers. that's why each time you see them feeling a form, in the space for CAREER, they all fill SOLDIERING
Occupation; SOLDIERING for both Army, navy and Air Force.
make research and stop arguing online. The guy is just arguing blindly when it's obvious his assumption is wrong. Why are they adorning camo in the first place if they're not soldiers, camo is a ready battle kit for war and that's the work of a soldier, be it army, navy or airmen. |

demefaboy: A Layman's thinking will kill u, just like all u Nigerians call every SUV Jeep, every noodles Indomie. Soldier is referred to only Army, Airforce and Navy are military. And who doesn't know they're military combined, I'm telling you they can also be called soldiers especially when they're in battle field and handling weapons, go read wide. Have you heard the term Marine soldier before? And what's the general definition of a soldier in the first place? |

kimbraa: You're telling me about being myopic but obviously you're the myopic one who can't see beyond his nose. No wonder when some people get polytechnic admission they jubilate like they were given admision into one of the IV League universities in Nigeria. Funny enough, you don't know a cap is placed on you. Do/did the children of your lecturers attend the same school as you do/did?. The answer is NO 'cause they know it's a waste of their precious time. You don't know anything about education, so it's better you keep quite so you can retain some level of intelligence to people (no pun intended) . For your info, a Tech Company would easily outsource an HND holder to a degree holder and like I said, your HND/BSc is a means to an end and not the end itself, ciao. |

kimbraa: My dear, you that's with HND is the shallow minded individual 'cause you've failed to realize that the certificate you carry places a cap on you. Which cap? Don't be myopic sis, by now you should know that Polytechnic and University education were set up for different purposes for the society. By structure, a Polytechnic student shouldn't even be looking for an employment in the first place if not that our structure in Nigeria is flawed. Just have to stop here with what you just typed below, smh. kimbraa: I checked him out, and guess what...he's a chartered accountant. Tell me how he became a group managing director of first bank with just a HND?. The dude probably did some courses either online or physical you know nothing of, and for him to be a chartered account means he did ICAN which gave him a playing field for his career path. So you mean to tell me that assuming he had BSc, he won't still do ICAN or he won't probably continue with his education according to your analogy. Do you know getting an HND or Bsc is a means to an end and not the end itself, a Master or a PhD holder can as well look down on a Bsc holder you know, I rest my case. |

BiggyB242: That's the reason I said most advice she gets here base on personal experience how can some equate HND to SSCE? It's totally not her fault, I blame the dichotomy of HND and Bsc on the part of Federal Government, assuming both holders take the same pay cheque home every month and the discrimination in Civil Service and the Private Sector is not pronounced, she wouldn't open her cavity to carpet HND holders the way she just did. |
Career › Re: Please Advise Me, I Am At Cross Roads On What To Do by dont8(m): 12:10am On Oct 02, 2017 |
kimbraa: Was his certificate upgraded or not?. Tell me what a polytechnic in Nigeria is about...people who were unable to pass JAMB and POST UTME. No be me do you. Imagine, you can't even differentiate Polytechnic education from a University education, it's such a shame on your part and a waste of University education on you. |

kimbraa: I would advice you don't take whatever your friend overseas is saying seriously 'cause you could end up in a brothel in a foreign land as a prostitute. They know how to traffic naive girls.
Secondly, HND is as good as O'level in the Nigerian labour market. If you were able to school and venture into entrepreneurship then I'll advice you further your education while continuing what you've been doing in the past. You're shallow minded sis, what's the difference between an HND holder and BSc holder if not that one is practical oriented and the latter is theory based. If you have said OND is equivalent to SSCE (which of ofcourse is not), it would have still made a little sense. The way we down grade academic pursuit in this part of the world is alarmingly worrisome; well, I blame our government for the disparity anyway. To the OP, please be well guided before you leap, it's not always rosy at the other end. I would advise you still continue with your business and probably expand it or diversify as the case may be and use the proceeds to further your education, God will be with you as you take a step of faith. |

BALLOSKI: this is what I want dont8 to see. Anyways, you might be right BALLOSKI: in terms of good sense of music, wande is better. But dbanj is an entertainer.
I believe skales should let it pass. Though he's saying it to inspire others. Yeah right but, he should desist in calling out EME for some obvious reasons because anyhow we look at it, Banky still made him irrespective of the short-comings from Banky. |
Celebrities › Re: Skales: "Timaya Housed Me When Banky W Kicked Me Out Of EME" by dont8(m): 10:08pm On Sep 29, 2017*. Modified: 11:48pm On Sep 29, 2017 |
BALLOSKI: wande was better than d'banj.
Skales can't separate banky from EME . It's like somebody separating the doctor that killed his child from the hospital where the negligence took place. Wande Coal better than D'banj is relative depending on the angle you view it from and don't forget he was discovered by D'banj and was a mere dancer for them way back. Skales wasn't kicked it out from EME like he would portrayed but his contract with the label expired. If you ask my opinion, I'd say he should let it slide since he's now in a good term with his boss and rather than calling out Banky/EME at every opportunity. |

Abudu2000: Wizkid is just the best and his destination was purely mapped out. He started with scales on eme but today scales is worst than an upcoming artist even with multiple albums...i see Wizkid winning a Grammy real soon even my friends in USA when I ask how come they are playing Wizkid on the back ground and they are like "are u kidding me" Wizkid is one of the biggest thing in 2017 and I'm like wow.
if u really wanna feel Wizkid just go on Google and download best of Wizkid mixtape. The file is about 200mb, my brother u will see how Wizkid gradually made his way up and if you are still struggling mhen u go nearly she'd tears for your life.
Wizkid's songs has touched many life's and he is gonna remain for a really long while.him and 2face are the two niaja artist I listen to, not even Davido can make my playlist Can't you pass your message across without talking down on Skales? It's actually disgusting of you! And it's Skales and not 'scales'! |
Celebrities › Re: Skales: "Timaya Housed Me When Banky W Kicked Me Out Of EME" by dont8(m): 9:04pm On Sep 29, 2017 |
BALLOSKI: as much said agree with you, banky didn't give skales the needed support like they gave wizkid; wizkid was the focal point and this affects other artists.
You remember don jazzy and dibanj? The whole attention was on the d'banj and other very good artist like Wande coal allowed to rust to the detriment of d'banj. You can see now that don jazzy is not making mistakes with mavin as he's created a level playing ground for all.
I hope you meant Peter and not Paul. Na Paul sabi sing pass na. Don't even bring in D'banj comparism to this cos he was the one signing artistes and not the other way round. That aside, it's a good thing for Skales to give credit to Timaya for helping him find his bearing but at the same time, I think he shouldn't have dragged EME into it negatively. |
