A clip of Dr. Deborah Birx went viral Thursday, showing the White House coronavirus response coordinator looking pained as she listened to President Donald Trump wonder if sunlight exposure and injecting the human body with disinfectants could be used to combat COVID-19.

Trump made the remarks — which are not backed by science and have been decried as wildly dangerous by medical professionals and even disinfectant manufacturers — at a press conference Thursday.

The president attempted to walk back his comments on Friday, saying he was being sarcastic when he made the claims. "I was asking a question sarcastically to reporters like you just to see what would happen," he said Friday.

In fact, video of the press conference clearly showed Trump asking Birx, a renowned virus expert with decades of government experience, to investigate if some of the treatments were feasible.

The medical supplies is good. My question is that did the NCDC carryout a random test on those medical supplies to ensure that they are 100% safe and virus free before using it on Nigerians? I remembered some European countries complained that the face masks and other medical supplies imported from China are fake. Nigeria and Africa should shine their eyes.

Ask your self why is the number of infected persons on the rise since they started using the test kids. Does it means that those newly infected persons have not been practicing social distancing and other good hygienic measures? Not everything that glitters is gold

Bros there's rise in cases because more tests were conducted. Many people were infected without showing symptoms and they keep infecting others. Medical tests only helped to fish out the hidden carriers.
