Being with one person for 20/40 years, while raising a new generation of functional adults, and laying down financial groundwork for your future generations is a massive achievement and a big boy flex! Just because we’re incapable of doing it doesn’t mean it isn’t the achievement that it is. I couldn’t do it in the conventional sense (marriage, children etc), but I certainly admire those who have and are able to do it well. It’s a major achievement!

I’m sensitive to fish, it’s always hit or miss for me depending on how it’s prepared. I started eating salmon just last year for its health benefits. It’s the smell that I can’t handle 😷

I’ve never been able to get my head around sweet potatoes 🍠. I just never thought I’d like it because sweet potatoes? Like, WTF! I refused to even taste it. I just decided that I wouldn’t like it.

I bought it for the first time; a few months ago, because a friend of mine was hyping about all the gut benefits linked to eating sweet potatoes, but I ended up binning them, because they went off in my cupboard without me so much as pilling one of them.

So, two weeks ago, I added them to my shopping list again, and they ended up in the back of the cupboard again, but I pulled them out yesterday vowing not to waste them again.

I half boiled two with the skin still on them, tossed them in olive oil and a tiny bit of salt, and stuck them in the oven to roast. I made rice and lamb stew 🥘, and had the roasted sweet potatoes on the side.

OMG!!! 😱. The sweetness of the potatoes, and the savouriness of the meat and rice; 😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫😱😱😱🤯🤯🤯❣️

I’m now in love 😍 with sweet potatoes.

You act like it’s only the man she let down! I’m talking about her family, her guests, people who took time and resources away from themselves to represent her. That’s childish asf! Cancel the wedding in advance or stay and talk to your guests. Running away is not what an adult does.

I find her actions incredibly childish, because she knew well before the wedding that she didn’t want to marry him, but she waited until the last minute to make that known. I think she wasted many people’s precious time and resources.

Bio-Boy is going through some changes. I don’t know what’s happening but I’m keeping a close eye on him. His leafs are wilting 🥀 and I don’t know if this is a natural process or if he’s unwell.
Also, his roots are drying up and breaking because I’m finding bits floating in his water. The good news is that he’s growing a new root from the seed so there’s still some growth. I don’t know how to feel. 😮‍💨
