It seems Bellichick is losing a bit of his lustre. . .

I actually did not have a problem with the call to go for it and I think
Faulk got the forward progress for the first down.

But to have used their timeouts and not be able to challenge. . .  tongue tongue tongue

Please sack Amodu and Amokachi. . . .

Get someone with even an inkling of tactical nous. . . .

I no understand how as a coach you go jus dey play
long field when at the best of times we are lazy.

See as they give the kenyans space to shine. . .

Eneramo. . .Did he pay someone to be playing him?

And what is this thing with putting square pegs in round
holes especially in the midfield. All of them were defensive midfielders?

Yakubu. . . .Yak abi Iyama?

BUT. . . .WE DON QUALIFY

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Liverpool Vs Manchester Utd [2 - 0] On Sunday 25th October by doyin13(m): 5:13pm On Oct 25, 2009
liverpool did what arsenal should have done when they visited old trafford earlier in yhe season. I thought even with tevez and ronaldo gone, the team would at least not be vulnerable cause pound for pound they have had the best defence anywhere thepast two seasons. But they seem out of sorts at the back, with their midfield not giving that much cover. If they don't improve, chelsea will beat them and god knows where they might go from there
PoliticsRe: ‘why Yar’adua Shunned Un General Assembly’ by doyin13(m): 11:00am On Oct 13, 2009
vislabraye:
Obasanjo was globetrotting about, running to Washington, England , South Africa. Any little meeting, before you look up, you'll see OBJ. At the end of the day, what did he achieve for Nigeria? George Bush will sneaze, OBJ will catch cold. It was as if Bush was his prefect. Yar Adua is the exact opposite of OBJ.

To be frank, Yar Adua has some valid points. Nigeria has done alot for the UN peace keeping force by ending It's troop, at least we deserve that recognition. I think we should go back to the drawing board and have a rethink. Nigeria's image is seriously tainted, and it is not Yar Adua's fault. He inherited it that way, but unfortunately i don't see the best he's doing to solve it anyway. Hilary Clinton came to Nigeria and was bitching; avoiding the red carpet reception is indeed disrespectful and undiplomatic. I don't see any maturity in it. But then, many of us supported her.

If Yar Adua had alot the charisma, then his actions would made more sense. As it is, Nigerians have lost confidence in their leaders because of years of disappointment. It seems the president has a game plan. Let's wait and see.
You do make a good point. . . . If this tantrum lead to those poor soldiers Obj readily committed
to thankless peace keeping missions, then something good would have come out of this THING.

But to be suggest or even be hopeful there is some modicum of a coordinated cohesive policy
is to be wildly optimistic, when it comes to this government.

Even if it was a form of protest, should it not have occurred to at least one of the kunu clotted officials
in Aso Rock, substituting a university opening ceremony in Saudi Arabia for a general assembly
meeting when your own schools are shut would play badly at home.

Perhaps it did. . . . and they just shrugged it off anyway.

a victory.

SportsRe: Tennis: US Open 2009 by doyin13(m): 9:57am On Sep 14, 2009
The Nadal-Potro match highlighted Nadal's propensity at times to play too much on
the back foot. I think it was last season's Australian against Tsonga where he
was playing several feet behind the baseline against a powerful hitter.

But he did have abdominal strains which affected his serve and put him
at a disadvantage in most points.

On the ladies, I have said my piece about the state of their game.

Federer- Del Potro, Boringggggggggggggggggg

That shot was good, but it was helped by the lob, which had no spin at all.
He had bare time to pick his spot.

Abi oo. . . .the champions keep getting younger and younger nowadays.

But judging on talent, I don't see why Murray can't win a Slam. He has
all the strokes and his only question mark is his fitness which he has
taken great lengths to address.

I hope he does win a slam anyway because hype apart, the kid can play.

jay bee:
I stay abode my fed express daily  wink

Yes i do agree that murray is a lot better than he used to be but the fact still remains that for a professional tennis player to win slams he need to posses a weapon or two which i really don't see with murray.
all he does is just put the ball back in the court and wait for the opponent's error.
Thats not true. I can't think of one Murray weakness besides mental.

His backhand is a thing of beauty and he is so good down the line,
his game can be hard to read.

What I don't understand is this defensive game of his that you lot have
rightly pointed out. He is not the fittest to begin with and to go against
big hitters like Cilic, it just seems a weird strategy. Reminds me of
Wimbledon when he went up against Ferrero, and seemed content
to dilly dally with the Spaniard, who isn't the biggest hitter in the world.
It seemed to take ages before he realised he could power Ferrero off
the court.

I guess he is modelling his game on Federer's who has made a living
off of pacing his game, but Federer's recoverability is only bettered by
Nadal on the circuit.

I don't know if its a mental block or just strategy, but I will bet once
he gets over the obstacle, he will be holding one of the slams.
