Anything that will scatter this broom of corruption, ineptitude, nepotism and cluelessness is a welcome development for those of us in the street. Imagine a government where an ordinary recharge card seller now boasts of billions. God!!! |

You people have started packaging this idiot with the EFCC investigation hanging on his neck. Before we forget, this man has never done any paid job in his life but has up to 10 accounts with first bank and each account has nothing less than 50 million naira on it. Thunder will fire whoever wrote this. Amen |
Education › Re: 2019 UTME: Seven Schools That Violated Admission Process by Dozis: 4:05pm On Jun 20, 2020 |
ThreeBlackBird: I got into Unilag without knowing a soul. Lay your claims please and let's see. If you hit the cut off, not Jupiter can stop your admission. 2005 was the year, first year post-Ume was written, UNILAG was the first school to advocate for post UME, because of that I chose the school, the then VC Prof. Ibidapo Obe was a guest on an NTA show hosted by Adesuwa Onyenokwe, he spoke glowingly of how they want to weed out the era of students being admitted with high scores and mess up academically when they finally get admission, I fell in love with the man and the school, I wrote Jamb that year, chose Pharmacy UNILAG and scored 252, cut off for UNILAG Pharmacy post UME was 240, so we all sat for the exam, there was about a thousand of us, we wrote in UNILAG staff school hall. The post UME was graded over 100 and there in the hall, the then Dean, (God bless him wherever he is now) told us that it's survival of the fittest, first 100 merit, I was glad because I was sure of myself. I gave it my best shot and scored 65%, highest was a guy from Enugu State, he scored 68, the result was posted on the Pharmacy faculty at Idi Araba. Yuocan imagine my happiness, finally I would be admitted to the acclaimed school of 'first choice' and was even assured by the faculty staff that no Jupiter would stop my admission, but my brother to cut the whole story short, admission list came out January 2006, my name was not on it. I fell sick bro, I was depressed. There was one man then in the faculty his name is Mr. Egbe (God bless him too) he saw me the day I came to check why my name was omitted from the list and took me to see the Dean, the Dean brought out a list and showed me the recommended list from the faculty as against the released list, my name was number 13 on that list. He told me and I quote him "My son this was the list we sent to admission office for admission, but we are seeing a different list from what we sent to them, sorry son, there's nothing I can do, if you want I can give you a letter of recommendation so that you can go and buy supplementary form and seek admission in any other department" I didn't look back, I never went back, next year I chose Uniport, scored 260 in UME and 344 in post UME, today I am a Pharmacist that graduated from the University of Port Harcourt. |

Unofficial report has it that those mostly sacked are in the transport division especially drivers. There was a time Ohaneze raised alarm that Dangote truck drivers were assisting herdsmen to bring in weapons into South East because those trucks are not normally searched by police so they leveraged on that to smuggle arms, it was found out that there was an atom of truth in it. PS. this is nairaland and this is an unofficial report |

joviegghead: Hmm. Sad. Even some top institutions are also involved.
It's funny how people bad mouth University of Lagos (UNILAG)) for being a school culpable for 'backdoor' dealings and yet.... what do we have here??
University of First choice and the Nations Pride #UNILAG I had a first hand experience with UNILAG and I have documents to prove so don't even go there. It's man no man everwhere in Nigeria. finebois: You can't find UNILAG there. University of First Choice |

I copied all those numbers dropped by Viking007 dropped and sent them a group message asking them why they should tell me to input my other account number when they haven't provided where to input them, one of them replied last night asking me to send my details as text, I did, though I haven't got any reply. I have resolved to visit their Ikeja office on Monday to hear from them. |

Musty4ahmed1: I strongly believe it's the back link to guarantor form that is causing the delay in our disbursement, I know two people that initially selected NO that later updated their account through the SMS link that have gotten. We don't even know how to resolve our case. I'm beginning to suspect so that back link might be causing more harm than good. |

This NIRSAL people are actually mad, so what's the essence of sending another and the same link when they haven't rectified or provided where you can put the account details.

Musty4ahmed1: Am suggesting those of us on the alert waiting list that used the back link to input our account details to go back to the SMS link to re - input our account details , because it seems they have work on their web page, when you input your BVN it takes you straight to Pop up Bank details and your name. To avoid endless waiting. Not working still... |
