PoliticsRe: INEC Confirms Otti As APGA Guber Candidate For Abia by Dpeacemaker101: 10:33pm On Jan 06, 2015
I knew it was the government of Abia state trying to pull some stunts, but they can't do more than a dead rat. They are scared of Dr. Otti and his victory by Febuary.
Politics10 Reason Why I Will Never Vote Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu For Abia State Gubernatorial. by Dpeacemaker101(op): 9:54pm On Dec 28, 2014
1. T.A ORJI lost the moral right to choose a successor for Abians after a woeful and embarrassing performance as Governor.

2. Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu is a chip of the old reality bloc. He served as Tc chairman in 2002 and ASEPA Deputy DG. HE is part and parcel of this failed administrations that Abians seek to change immediately.

3. Abians cannot afford to have another Governor that will be in bondage at the detriment of development of Abia state.

4. Dr. Okezie is not financially stable and lacks the capacity to prosecute his governorship ambition without mortgaging the future of Abia state to his godfather - OCHENDO GLOBAL

5 Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu has publicly affirmed that he will continue OCHENDO's "legacy projects" which remains a legendary scam since the history of our democracy.

6. Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu is not independent minded and will continue to dance to the whims and caprices of the Governors's son whom they seek to enthrone as Speaker in the next dispensation.

7. Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu's profile is nothing compared to that of Alex Otti, who is an accomplished technocrat with an enviable and wholesome track record in the private sector.

8. Dr Okezie Ikpeazu lacks both the contact and capacity to attract investments and private sector support and funding for development in Abia state the way Dr. Alex Otti will do.

9. Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu is going to spend considerable amount of Abia taxpayers money to refund Ochendo/Ikuku for billions incurred as election expenses but Dr. Alex Otti is already wealthy and has no such godfather to repay with our taxpayers money.

10. ABIANS DESERVE A COMPETE CHANE FROM PDP TO APGA- the party that has brought development to Anambra- the gateway to South East

Thank you.

PoliticsBREAKING News:abia PDP Gubernatorial Candidate Booed At Aba Marathon. by Dpeacemaker101(op): 10:26pm On Dec 21, 2014
The People's Democratic Party (PDP) gubernatorial flag bearer in Abia State, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu got more than he bargained in the ancient city of Aba as he was booed by the marmot crowd that gathered for the Aba Half Marathon held yesterday in the Enyimba city.
Ikpeazu was among dignitaries that graced the well attended sports fiesta and immediately he was handed over the microphone to address the crowd, the people could not hide their feelings as there were noisome booing and shouts of discontent from the crowd. All attempts and pleas to calm down the crowd fell into deaf ears.
Instead of giving the gubernatorial aspirant audience, there were uncontrollable shouts and chanting of words such as "ONYE DIRTY,ONYE DIRTY,ANYI ACHOGI,wuuuuu", by the crowd.
Apparently irked by the unfriendly reception, the PDP flag bearer had no option but to storm out of the venue with his entourage in anger, while all PDP branded vehicles that were packed in the arena were immediately driven out of the venue for fear of vandalisation.
The marathon which started in the early hours of the day at the Enyimba stadium is organized by Magic FM, a leading radio station in Aba city, and yesterday marked the last edition in the state.
Many dignitaries, including politicians gathered at the event. Expectedly, PDP and its flag bearer in the state had hoped to use the occasion to shore up their political fortunes in the state through a public address and solidarity messages to the marathoners and the audience. But this unfortunately went sore.

PoliticsRe: THINK ABIA! Dr Alex Otti by Dpeacemaker101: 1:40am On Aug 14, 2014
Now people of Abia are beginning to see reason, am very happy to comment on this thread. Dr. Alex Otti is the man for the job, we need reformation, development, employment, accountability, and every other good thing that comes with good governance. Alex has done excellently well in the banking sector and can do better in governance.
PoliticsRe: Abia State Gubernatorial Zoning In 2015 by Dpeacemaker101(op): 12:16am On Aug 11, 2014
The Ukwa Ngwa people need to stand in unity and vote a credible candidate into office come 2015.
PoliticsAbia State Gubernatorial Zoning In 2015 by Dpeacemaker101(op): 11:46pm On Aug 09, 2014
The governor of Abia State, Dr. T.A Orji earlier this year promised a power shift to the Ukwa Ngwa zone of the state which comprises of the 9 local government of the said zone(Isiala Ngwa North, Isiala Ngwa South, Osisioma,Obingwa,ugwunagbo,Aba south,Aba North, Ukwa west, and Ukwa east),while the electorates and politicians were gearing up in preparation to choose the best candidates to contest the elections come 2015, the governor in a rally at the government house umuahia last month,made another speech saying that the power shift is to Abia South senatorial zone thereby excluding 3 local governments(Isiala Ngwa North,Isiala Ngwa South,and Osisioma) from his power shift to the Ukwa Ngwa,claiming to have represented these areas in his tenure as he hails from Abia central, and I tried to imagine what would have prompted his decision,and I had these conclusions to make;
1, The governor has found his replacement in these senatorial district, and doesn't want to publicly declear it
2, He might be playing the usual political gimmick with the people of Ukwa Ngwa
3, The governor might be trying to put confusion in the said Ukwa Ngwa zone,so that he can produce a successor.
My reasons for these conclusions are based on the fact that if any governor has planned to relinquish power to a particular zone, he should not go further by picking who will Succeed him in office, it is undemocratic and inhuman to the populace. People should be allowed to choose their leader and not have person(s) make choices for them,we are in the 21st century were things should be done with due process. And for those who have failed to listen to the voice of the masses, which is the voice of God, they should all restrain their steps before it is too late. Democracy should be allowed to run its full circle in Abia state, so that credible leaders will emerge and turn the state around for good, they are credible candidates in the Ukwa Ngwa region who can perform and they should be allowed to practice what they have done both in the private and public sector, where they have done tremendously well to Abia State.

PoliticsRe: Apc Ask Goodluck To Sack Labaran Maku by Dpeacemaker101: 1:57pm On Nov 18, 2013
Lai Mohammed has now turned to an adviser to the presidents,I don't understand why people don't remove logs in their eyes before tell other about theirs. Have you finished solving problems in APC,before looking for who to advise. You people won't just allow the FG do their work, all you know is to look for any way to apportion blames and who to sack, but I tell you that you have failed. Maku is still one of the best ministers this country has ever produced, and I believe he has been doing carrying out his duties diligently. Ride on Maku, tell them the truth.

PoliticsRe: APC Will Not Participate In Idemili Election Rerun In by Dpeacemaker101: 1:04pm On Nov 18, 2013
Timehin: Ngige just said APC will not participate in todays election cos as a catholic he's against elections on sunday, he accused INEC of hidden agenda and questions Jegas rationale for holding the election.

Jega is presently on AIT live program to clear the air on what transpired at Idemnili LG.

He said one of their electoral officers who attempted to compromise the process has been handed to the police for prosecution and that INEC tried to conduct the election yesterday inspite of the challenges but had to stop cos it was late before they could sort out the discrepancies and that the community agreed election should continue today.

The live program is still on...
if we all start making choices on when to hold elections maybe there will be no elections any more, cause for me,am an Adventist and I don't like elections on Saturdays. So the Ngige of a man should just be silent and have his re-run.
