With the raging controversy of Amotekun, the issue of who gets the 2023 presidency is no longer critical, even the South East is not desperate for 2023 Presidency as long as SW can produce a fearless leader who will not be subservient to the northern oligarchs, a leader who will be fair to all and guarantee level playing field for all citizens, no nepotism or tribalism and bring development across the nation which helps our business and guarantee jobs for our people, we simply dread poverty

Igbos don't hate Yorubas that's why we voted Obasanjo against our own people who contested as Vice President to Buhari, neither do we hate Fulani which was why we voted for Yar'adua.

Amotekun seems to be gradually removing the agelong fear of the North in the minds of the average Yoruba partially due to northerners proclivity to violence.

Amotekun will be made up of Yorubas who know their terrain very well against attacks from herdsmen marauders committing mass murder and occupying communities

The most ridiculous aspect of this is that few months ago when Fulanis volunteered to start armed vigilante group to protect Yorubas in Yoruba land, the North supported then. What a wickedly deceitful people they are.

The reality is that there are violent criminals in the South, but they are after money and not lives of citizens, the only group that will open fire randomly on a vehicle are Fulani jihadists and bandits. Southern criminals will hardly do it because they will calculate that their relationship friends could be affected.
Southern criminals don't make forests as a their hideout, the would go to hotels and guesthouses, spend the stolen funds and have fun with oloshos.

I have noticed one thing in Nigeria politics, anyone that Igbos support means that the person is doing well and has the potential to do even better.
They never supported Buhari even when he contested with popular politicians from their area including Okadigbo and Umeh Ezeoke, they voted rather for a Yoruba man Obasanjo and another Fulani man Yar'adua and the result is there for all to see.
When I see them supporting Operation Amotekun by South West, I told somebody, that it means there is something good about this Amotekun security network.
Igbos supporting GSM and even begging him to come and takeover Abia state from Okezie Ikpeazu means that the guy is not an Audio Governor, Oyo people are in for good governance.
